Are they getting 2 sheds or did I misunderstand that? One for bikes and one for pool stuff? For the pool stuff I would think one of those Rubbermaid (plastic) storage sheds would work. I assume she will put her car in garage when bikes go to shed or it will become like the garage at old house. I still don't see why she doesn't get a bike storage rack.

I guess Chris likes the money more than anything. And I get it he doesn't have his mom or dad so its really just Jess (no pun intended lol). Even had he not had a falling out with his mom over the new husband something tells me Jess would have made it hard on him to see her. Also I am aware Chris is a big boy, I wonder if some of it is being scared to lose Addie.

I think some of it could definitely be him being scared of losing Addie, especially considering he's seen first-hand how she treats Drake.

It sucks for him because it looks like he's been alienated from everyone outside of Jessica's circle, not sure if this was his own accidental doing, Jessica's doing, or a mix of both. Unless he has connections he just never mentions on camera, he pretty much is friends with Amber and Gabe. He has no job, he just spends his days as a stay-at-home dad for five kids, four of whom aren't even his.

I wonder if he's also scared of losing Landen, since he's become essentially his son.

her in the wind storm was just hilarious to watch as someone from canada’s east coast who sees winds like that multiple times a year. before a storm, it’s not hard to get outside and take some things inside or under a bit of shelter. and what probably made the whistling worse is her shitty front door by the builder. really it’s not hard to bring shit inside lol

Had to go back and check: yep: two! Wow! One outside the gate for bikes and one inside the gate for pool stuff. It still won’t make a dent in that garage mess, I’m sure.
And then there’s that storage shed they pay ~$200 a month for..... just to store holiday decorations.

He may want to stay until Addie is old enough to understand what’s happening that way she will not be calling Jessica’s new boyfriend daddy and not wanting to see him anymore. That seems to be a going thing with her.

They really need to just install overhead storage in the garage for totes (holiday decor), getting things off the floor gives more room.

Who called it? Someone here had said those boys would be climbing on that wall soon and Jess would encourage it. How long before they climb up there next to the pool and try to get down?

Not sure how often those weather events happen out in CA but it was forecasted ahead of time and she should have prepared sooner. I mean nothing major but at least take in any loose objects from outside and make sure you have a flashlight with extra batteries. Maybe it's because where I live we're used to this. We just got a winter storm with a good amount of snow and strong winds. But we made sure we had extra logs for the fire, made sure phones were charged completely, knew we had flashlights and batteries, and had gone grocery shopping early enough before it gets crazy because people freak out and go last minute. I'll admit I sometimes worry about all of the trees that are right behind my house though. Just this past year we had a tropical storm, a tornado a few weeks later, and we do get storms with high winds quite often. I guess I can't be too hard on her for once since she might not be used to crazy weather lol

However, it scares me to think of how she might react in something that is more likely to happen where she lives: an earthquake. I could see her just freaking out running around with the camera and saying "oh my god chris what do we do?!"

Bad weather events rarely happen here in CA, and I’ll admit, this one was a doozy. Even so, I’ll bet she experienced many windstorms In Modesto. I live 100 miles west of her, near SF, and we had plenty of warning for this storm. So my husband went outside and “battened down the hatches” before the storm. We definitely aren’t used to it, but it’s not like such storms never happen.

Oh, and all those mudslides and debris flows on TV: those were happening on the coast and in mountainous areas that were scorched and barren from the summer wildfires. Nowhere near her city.

As for the earthquakes: does she have any supplies ready?! Flashlights, water, food, etc. Ah, who am I kidding. Lol.

Jess showing news talking about thousands of people having to evacuate and experiencing a real storm and then proceeding to cackle about it and saying she (Miss Positive Attitude) will cry if her spa gets chipped just shows how out of touch she is. I’m not saying she can’t be upset if her spa gets chipped but maybe don’t show those news segments before.

And all that freaking out over the power going out, it's like she thought it was the beginning of the apocalypse. She does know that phones have a flashlight function... right?

My issue with this is, acting like the world is ending over the something like an outage that’s seemingly not going to take more than a few hours at most to fix, it’s basically her showing her kids that in inconveniencing situations the way to behave is to panic and overreact instead of being smart and teaching them how to actually deal with it calmly and safely. I don’t know how long the power was out for, but if there was that type of a reaction to the point of including news clips etc for something like that - fully knowing that they have a safe space to stay warm and fed and that everyone accounted for is completely fine - then I’d really hate to hear how they need to get through an actual crisis. Any loving parents job in that moment is to comfort their kid and even maybe explain why they’ll be fine and what’s going on, not reach for the camera and film the entire thing and everyone’s reactions to then post online. A few years back there was a MAJOR outage affecting millions of people where I live that lasted over a week in the dead of winter, so no heat or hot water when it was -20°C before wind chill. Not trying to make it into a “this was way worse!”, trying to just think how the hell she’d ever actually help her family when they’re desperately in need in a situation like that and not just slam her foot on the gas and go to 100 so to speak. Really seems like she’s more concerned with the content she gets out of any situation than actually helping her family through anything.

Seems like the kids were already asleep on this occasion but this is so true in general about her, everything gets blown way out of proportion. No wonder the kids always overreact to everything, screaming at the top of their lungs all the time. It's what they're taught to do. At this rate none of them are going to have any ability to efficiently deal with the problems that life will inevitably throw at them. Everything will be an "OMGGG" moment.

The way she was acting when they were playing golf reminded me so much of a video of me as a 14yo, a screechy, pretending to be ditzy and attention seeking girl. And 14 maybe was even too old for that.
I started watching her around the time Addie was born and if you watch those videos it’s like it’s a totally different person. She was calm, she didn’t yell or cackle like that (I’m starting to think she forces it) and acted mature. Now she’s acting like a 16 year old, cursing left and right, everything’s sexual and about sex and they giggle when they see the number 69.

Sorry for posting again, but I was late to the thread and missed a lot. I’m actually on the I don’t think Jess dyes her hair camp but I wouldn’t be surprised if she uses that Sun In on Addie. Sun In and similar products are known for leaving an orange tone after a while (that’s why a lot of people use purple shampoos and toners after using it, to counteract the brassiness). Maybe she hoping it would leave her with some orange tones and that way she’ll be able to keep calling Addie a redhead or a strawberry blonde.

I also don't get what the big deal was. This happens to me quite often in the year. Floodings, things collapsing, things getting buried. There is good reason the weather lady/guy asks you to stay inside, when a huge storm approaches.

Exactly! I've gone back and watched some of her old videos, and she was very likeable, down-to-earth, and outgoing, trying to raise her kids. She wasn't perfect, but she admitted to her mistakes. Exploiting kids is still exploiting kids, though; I'm just talking about Jessica's personality here.

Now? I don't know what happened, but like you said, she's acting like a teenager trying to impress her friends. I'm starting to think she's forcing it too.

Plus, why is everything a s*xual joke on a FAMILY channel? Confuses me.
