If if they hadn't of put all the closet organizers in their closet then maybe Chris could have put his computers In there like the old house.
Working out of a closet instead of a loft though... I mean, isn't it better working on the loft? or is he Chris Potter, and the office of azkaban.
I was joking. Like that's where she would put his desk and computers again if she could. That closet was huge and Hannah even had an air mattress in there at one point.

That mattress in the closet is probably still there ..... for when they need to “be creative” when doing their bed business.

I remember people telling her many times to just buy a pack of screws for the cameras, now she acts like she discovered something new.

Hasnt she shown coyotes right behind them in that field? Letting the cats out in that backyard is a bad idea

Well and the thing is she could be good if she had teachers that were more honest. I’m not saying to tell a kid “hey you suck!” Or be mean about it at all but I think it’s so so important to learn to take criticism because that’s how you learn and grown because while everyone tells her how great she is now that won’t always be the case and she’ll be embarrassed when someone finally tells her the truth. I think there is a way to both encourage kids to follow their passions while also telling them things like “you just need to work on ____ and ____ and you’ll be great!” Or “____ you do really well but you need a little more work on _____” but instead lilia is told she does everything perfect I.e she’ll never get better and likely never do anything professionally. That on both parents and teachers

Exactly my thoughts! 😖 I watched some of the insta stories from the competition they were at, and it looks like Amanda and Dane’s studio was the only one that wore masks at the competition. No other dancers had masks on.

The dance studio posted a clip of Lilia's group dancing....oof.

It's always shocking to watch her dance, knowing that she's been doing it for so long and is still so bad at it.

And she zoomed in on poor lilias unsupported boobies Image

They buy bras, ice cream, toppings, etc. fair to say she probably has started her period and this was jess’s not so discrete way of telling the world.

Then their decision to give lilia her own room. Same vlog.
The zoom in really grossed me out 🤮

True, I rewatched it the other day looking for any info about the cameras in the rooms, and I did notice this. I had figured it was just about bra shopping, but now that you mention it....
If she's anything like Jess, Jess can get ready for Lilias first boyfriend in about 2-3 years time and her being a grandma at 34. I don't think she put that possibility into her calculations. But hey she gets to see now what it's like, to be a Mom, have certain aspirations for your children and always being afraid, that it's not going to happen.
Oh I really hope Lilia doesn’t follow in Jess’s footsteps, but, the apples generally don’t fall too far from the tree (OBVIOUSLY there are exceptions). And I don’t think she did either 😂

I was actually pleasantly surprised by Lilia’s voice... it really wasn’t bad! Was it the best voice in the world? No, but keep in mind, she’s only ten, and has probably only ever heard pop singers and wants to imitate them. I wasn’t that great at singing when I was ten, but I’d like to think I’ve gotten better over the years. Lilia can carry a tune and she seems to really enjoy it.

It’s better she’s into singing than sex and guys. Just saying.

I think she actually has potential with the right training and lessons, if she chooses to go down that route.

And props to her for being so confident about singing in front of people! Definitely was not like that at her age lol.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. The only way to improve on your craft is to have a teacher explain what you need to work on. You can’t tell kids that they’re perfect and doing everything right, but you also can’t just criticize them. You have to find that perfect balance, which is difficult, but will help them become contributing and productive adults. You have to learn to take criticism and understand that it’s not an impact on YOU as a person, but your work. You can’t be afraid to hurt a kid’s feelings but also don’t just flat-out insult them.

If a kid is always called perfect all the time, they will have a very inflated ego.

If a kid is always criticized all the time, they will have zero self confidence.

It’s such a difficult balance, but it’s worth the trial and errors to find.

Hope this made sense 😂.

I personally think she would have sounded better if they did songs that complimented her voice a bit more. As much as the music was classic R&B/Soul/Rock n roll, I just feel like it was suited to her at all and out of her vocal range. She was singing Little Richard and Wilson Pickett among others, very difficult for a 10 yr old girl to sing IMO.

That’s the thing with Lilia.
She could have been an amazing little dancer. She’s enthusiastic and has energy. If someone told her how to control herself a little better and let the energy flow a little smoother, she could have been a great little jazz and lyrical dancer. When she does ballet and knows she needs to control her movements, she’s actually a really decent little dancer.

Instead she’s been told she’s the best ever and has no control and is almost always ahead or behind.

I think Lilia's performances are fine. They never claimed to be wanting fame. I've seen kids with no confidence because their parents criticize them like crazy. ALTHOUGH I do agree Jess needs to correct the kids...so annoying sometimes haha.
Also the US is wild lol. She complained about the short line outside of Ross. I'm in Manitoba, Canada and we only had stores open for essentials for a couple months lol. Our population is 1.2 million people and we average 100 cases a day. Just got stores reopened with no restaurants, spas, sports, ect. Although our schools have remained open!

Personal but my Dad just called and said he’s throwing a beach surprise party for my Step Mom, and putting a tarp with sand on it in the living room. 100% reminded me of mess.

Actually she has claimed to wanting fame for Lilia (mentioning American Idol, Broadway for dance). Nobody is saying Lilia shouldn't get to enjoy these things but 1) Jess needs to let the instructors do the work (she's part of the reason Lilia is over the top with dance and loses control) 2) be realistic. Nobody is saying beat her down on it but be realistic.

Agreed. Knock of the over-drama over each performance. And Jesss is living her dream through Lilia. Many parents do that, of course. It’s just sad to see. The hairstyle, the make up, the shiny dress.... a mini-me for Jesss.
