It was never said how he died. She just said that he was put down for a nap in the evening hours of Christmas and when he was checked on, he was unresponsive. But she’s never talked about SIDS, so it’s assumed that he was put in an unsafe sleep space and suffocated or something.
It is also said that a relative found Crew in between the headboard and the mattress, but that statement was retracted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
There are a lot of parents on IG who speak about their children's unfortunate, but very much accidental deaths, and they become huge advocates of the cause. With her amount of following, you would think she would just come forward and do the same. She could be doing a lot of great things to raise awareness on SIDS. But she rather get you to buy her whitening strips, candles, diaper bags, and IG picture presets.
Exactly. And it was also stated that he had brain swelling, which would be consistent with positional asphyxiation or being wedged between something etc. If it was SIDS, why not say that? It would be random and at no fault of anyone. But she doesn’t say anything because it couldn’t have been SIDS. She knows she would be torn apart if she admitted it was because of her negligence.
While we’re on the topic of Crew possibly being wedges between headboard & mattress, it reminds me of the theory someone had on here about one of the other young boys moving Crew & then he ultimately got wedged. It makes sense bc if the family member who said he got stuck in between the headboard & mattress was accurate, then it adds up that one of her other kids went in the room & moved the baby. Crew was about 3 months old which is barely rolling yet (I know all kids are different). Having a bunch of kids running around & one of them could’ve snuck in the room where Crew was sleeping & moved him.
Bc like others have mentioned, why doesn’t she use her platform for GOOD & prevention as most parents who go through horrible tragedies like this? It would make sense for Brittani to be so protective over the cause of death.
Also on a more personal note, my mom dealt w a toddler pulling a baby off a bed & it reminded me of Brittani’s story. In the 90s we were having a play date & a family friend came over w her 6 boys. SIX. So two moms, her 6 boys, me, & my 2 brothers. One of my brothers was a newborn at the time, about 6 weeks old. He was sleeping on my mom’s bed, in the middle, w pillows propped around the edges of the bed. Not rolling yet or anything. Again this is the 90s, so yes safe sleep standards have changed since then obviously. Anyway, one of lady’s young boys snuck into my mom’s room, got up on the bed to play w my 6 week old brother, & pulled him off the bed & put him on the floor, likely dropped him as he was getting off the bed. He ran into another room & told my mom “Uhh baby is on the floor” & my mom asked if he picked up the baby. He said “No! He fell off!” Which obviously wasn’t the case as a 6 week old isn’t rolling. My brother was fine & he did go to the hospital for screening but it just reminded me of Brittani’s story. I truly wonder if one of Brittani’s boys had something to do with it & she’s hiding it bc obviously they could never live with themselves growing up knowing you killed your brother.
