They're grasping for straws right now as they lose more and more viewership. First the RV, now the "hidden homestead" BS, now daily vlogging for a short week and failing (not to get off topic here, but they know what their connectivity is like and that they have to drive to better wifi to upload videos, and we've been in winter for months now. I'm sure this isn't the first time that they've had issues uploading, even recently. Why in the world would they "COMMIT" to daily vlogging for a week!?!?).

For all content creators, there's an element of trying out new things and forging new directions. But when you look at the successful youtubers, they've found a niche and they are really interesting people! Content growth is organic and seems relatively natural. Trying out new things doesn't involve complete lifestyle shifts.

But nope, not with Phil and Alex. What made their channel extraordinary was their story and a bit of luck (in that there wasn't a lot of infertility content), NOT their personalities. Their popularity was all based on a story of their misfortune. Gosh, I would hate to have my career tied to that. Now, it seems like misfortune (or the hopes of more of it) is the only thing that's keeping their channel alive. If Cassidy was a perfectly healthy baby, I'm sure their viewership would be much lower now. And in this new year, I'm sure they're hoping that more infertility will revive their channel again.

Hi I’m new here but I’ve watched P&A for a few years and have read this site a lot too!
I finally had to jump in!
Firstly - has anyone ever noticed that Alex does the domestic abuse hand signal from time to time (in today’s “Do our Parents Live With Us” vlog at 16mins 10secs in.
Secondly - the poor chickens. Filthy small roost and frozen water... the chickens lapped it up as soon as Phil broke the ice and “forgetting” to check the eggs? Bet he forgets to check their water too!
Finally - think Alex reads this site as I’ve heard them refer to a few things discussed here (like Cassidy being underdressed in today’s vlog which Phil commented on)

I think she reads here,too.Thus the comments about her parents still being there or not

She also made a point that she wants to detox but can't while breastfeeding. So we now she still does it.
(Alex, there's no need to detox. Your organs are doing that for you. If it helps you to kickstart a healthier lifestyle go for it. But your body really does it's "detoxing" on it's own.)

She mentioned that she wanted to get other speed cups but they were sold out. She so reads here.

Also how can you forget to check the chickens? Do you forget to brush your teeth too?

I haven't watched them after her surgery so I don't know about her situation but I'm pretty sure that paper towels cannot cause eczema which is a real medical skin condition.

When we had hens, I checked the water several times a day during a hard frost, or snow, and also fed them warm porridge at mid day. The run was also cleaned daily and the hut.

I haven't watched them after her surgery so I don't know about her situation but I'm pretty sure that paper towels cannot cause eczema which is a real medical skin condition.

I know, she keeps saying Cassidy has eczema on her cheeks so she (Alex) is cutting out things from her own diet as it might help Cassidy. If she's wiping the baby's face with a paper towel, of course the skin is going to be dry.

Oh absolutely. But even then I question how much it will increase their viewership. They're the parents of 3 girls and this is their, what, 5th or 6th transfer? How many people even care at this point?

All the people who started watching them bc of adoption or infertility are long gone or going soon.

Their current fan base that is left seems to be predominately made up of obsessive people who dream of living the life Phil and Alex intentionally try to portray, specifically, the loving fundie christian, hip, modern, fun, imperfect, caring and relatable couple.

But I feel they are struggling to fake this image anymore, and their obsessed fans with low self esteem need to be fed what makes them feel good otherwise they'll also leave. Phil and Alex seem to be desperately trying to work out what new image they need to portray to hold onto interest. So yeah, I also don't think a new go-around with IVF and a pregnancy etc...will work either necessarily. There will be some viral videos from good clickbait, but I don't think they can hide the fact that they are a boring, loveless slob of a couple that does nothing interesting in their lives.

I think they're secretly pissed off that they can't spam their IG with happy, magical stories about their beautiful snow because it would make them look insensitive. So they are pretending to care, and maybe they actually do a little bit, but not as much as they feel sorry for themselves for not being able to share their own snow-related joy.

Man I used to not like them at all but was Nosey during their infertility journey. But now that they’ve had their baby they’ve been extremely boring, even pregnancy videos were awful. I never thought she’d be pregnant ever and when she was it was “meh”. So weird but person above is right, their fans are gone. Their journey is over they have a baby and 2 older children. It’s just not exciting anymore. Their content isn’t even good.

I watched them for years but I can’t anymore. I snark watch a few channels, but P&A’s videos were affecting my vision. I had to quit watching them because I was going blind from rolling my eyes so hard at every single video.

I get all the info I need from this thread and don’t give them any additional views at the same time. Win/win

ETA if I never hear Phil’s laugh again, I will die happy.
