I’ll say one positive thing from Crew’s death - my second daughter is five weeks old and I’m even more hypervigilant about safe sleeping with her than with my oldest. I imagine I’m not the only one.

Absolutely. I had my second on December 1st (BBLs supposed due date) and it’s made me think even more about safe sleep. I live in a one level ranch style home and never considered a video monitor because it seemed unnecessary. But I’m glad I got one. I can lay my son down in his crib and check on him without potentially waking him up. And in the middle of the night, I can check the monitor at every sound, instead of getting up. We are all getting so much more sleep and I’m less anxious.

My issue with the whole everyone-grieves-differently debate is that while it is true, there are also things people don’t do out of respect. Now it’s not necessarily a bad thing to have a wedding a few weeks after something dies, but people from some cultures actually postpone weddings after a death in the family, even if it’s a distant relative. Some things just don’t look right and she should have enough common sense not to post those things. Like taking a posed picture in the bathroom of your dying son’s hospital bedroom. Or swipe ups after you just talk about your dead son. Or swipe ups related to your dead son. Or a smash cake birthday photo session when your dead son was never able to do a smash cake. It doesn’t matter at all that she is grieving differently because it just doesn’t look right. It’s disrespectful at the least.

The one that gets me the most to this day is that stupid smash cake photo shoot. Everything else is bad, but that photo shoot was the worse thing she could have done. I wanted to cry when I saw that, because I thought the same thing. Crew will never get to do this, and you have the audacity to do this so close to the day that he passed. Disgusting!

This. I MIGHT feel differently if she was sitting at a table respectfully blowing out a birthday candle or sth, but that photo shoot basically infantilized herself to look like a baby with a smash cake. It was in such poor taste

I've been thinking with her platform as big as it is, I would be sharing information non stop about places here in San Antonio were families can have access to shelter, food, or blankets. San Antonio now has centers as of today, were people could go and get water from. There is also a page on Instagram that shares what San Antonio restaurants are open today and Facebook groups were you can see what grocery stores are stocked or not. She could be sharing all of that information. I'm sure most of her followers are from Texas or surrounding areas. And she probably has friends, and family or other acquaintances that are without food, light, or water right now.

She could also be donating some of what she makes for the san antonio food bank. Instead of going to Target to buy stuff for Cash's birthday (which right now should not be a priority), maybe go and buy what some stores have available (we know you have the money), and go drop it off at the Texas diaper bank here in San Antonio or other centers like the Family Violence Center. Go and drop off some gift cars to the first responders or something. There was a restaurant yesterday giving them free meals, and they're a local business! Now that's caring!

So many people need a lot of help right now. I've been doing what I can by sharing were people can get resources from and have also had one family pick up from my doorstep a box of some extra essentials I had. But I don't have the following that she has to make a real difference. People need more than prayers right now.

I envy her platform because she could be doing so many good things right now for the residents of San Antonio. She is out of touch with what's going on right now. Coming from nothing I am very passionate about helping sl when I see people like her with enough resources to sustain herself and with the amount of following, I get mad, that they aren't doing more for their communities when they clearly have that power.

I think that would be weird even if she hadn't lost her baby before his first birthday. It was creepy. Jeff should be totally creeped out. His wife was trying to look like a toddler. It is not cool, sexy, cute. It was bizarre and gross.

It just sounds exhausting and overwhelming being married for 5 years and being pregnant literally every single year. But I’ve also had horrible pregnancies.

Watching BBL’s stories of their birthday outing and 1) Carter is old enough to wear a mask. Her blatant disregard for their health is mind boggling. None of the boys are wearing masks and they are in a public place that I doubt gets sanitized after every use. I understand wanting to make your child’s birthday special, but you have to be the adult and realize that these are difficult circumstances- make it a teachable moment. Teach your kids about the pandemic and why things have to be different. If losing a child has taught her nothing, then nothing is going to burst the bubble she has created around her life.

It's been clear to me, that ever since she let her hairdresser interact with her Cole without a mask, BBL doesn't think that this virus exists or is going to affect her and her family.

I don't want any of her family hurt in any way, but I kind of hope she gets the virus or Jeff. Maybe then she'll take it seriously.

If BBL or any member of her family gets the virus she will NEVER mention it. She knows full well the backlash she would face. She spent 2020 indulging in non-essential trips,excessive shopping hauls,photoshoots,and handing her newborn to maskless individuals. I scratch my head at all of that behaviour made even worse by knowing she used to be a nurse.I think these influencers feel entitled to do things that we have been asked as a society not to. Many people delayed weddings, didn't celebrate milestones, and even worse- died alone.Kassidy Bingham just came back from a her babymoon in Hawaii and was telling her viewers she was feeling sick and it was most likely food poisoning. She had to address all the hate/concern she got as everyone was calling her out and assuming it was covid. And SHE snarked back. Like, what I am I effing missing???I'm starting to think mostly all these mom vloggers/influencers are the same. Self-centered,narcissistic, entiltled brats.

I’m curious if this kassidy Bingham has a thread on here and if she doesn’t why not?? I have many questions about her and her lifestyle. How did she get so many followers on Instagram? Just from her son passing away? Or was she an insta mommy before all that went down with milo? She was able to go to Hawaii on her baby moon but also posted a story about how she was selling her clothing and shoes to make money for her doula?? I know this is brittanis thread but Curious minds have questions!

I think KB started as a blogger. Then when her baby was sick and all they went through she turned into an insta swipe up mom. Very public and personal journey. She showed EVERYTHING. I can’t imagine showing that much even to my family of my sweet baby suffering. I can’t relate because it’s definitely not the route I’d be comfortable taking

Why doesn't any of them have a mask at the legoland center? Of course the baby can't wear one but what about the older boys. And then watching them touch all the little legos and then the VR thing. I got so much anxiety. I just feel like legoland is the worst place to go right now. I wish things would get back to normal and I know a lot of us wish the same! my kids and I have avoided so many fun places because of this stupid virus and here she is it seems like she's not even taking precautions. I would just really hope that place sanitizes all the legos but idk a lot of places dont sanitize as much as they did in the beginning of the pandemic

Agreed. As another user above mentioned its a great opportunity to teach the kids about viruses, germs, hygiene, rules, respect, etc. But as Sydney said before, she has no control over those kids. It's that nonchalant "I don't really care/matter" attitude that really irks me.

I can’t speak to where her money is from but I could not imagine accepting one cent from publicizing my sons illness and death. I’d probably still be crying in bed not about to give birth again. Same with BBL. barely any time to heal before having another one. I’m 41... had my kids at 23 and 26, divorced at 28, remarried at 32... these insta mommies that just keep popping out babies are going to hit a wall HARD. To be barely 30 with all of this and literally nothing to put in a resume when it crashes down? It makes my brain hurt
