Has anyone ever seen her kids eat actually healthy food? She only cooks hello fresh for herself ? How do the kids even survive on lunchables and happy meals and Taco Bell ? I swear she feeds Mango more fresh veg, peppers and salad than her kids have eaten in their entire lives! Every day it’s a big deal to feed mango his salad and yellow pepper! How sad is it when you lizard eats better than your growing kids!

So she's ok to get Landen tested for ADHD (although he could have it I also don't think her treating him like a baby because he's her "shining light" helps) but she refuses to get Kaden help for his speech? And the person she asked about him having ADD a few years ago was her mom. Why not address this with their doctor?

100% Kaden needs to be evaluated for ADHD. His constant need to scream and jump in front of people, his constant need to bug his siblings when they are trying to do school work, his inability to regulate his volume- that kid is a poster child for ADHD.

And no, Messs, it actually is not to early to have Landen evaluated if you think he might have ADHD.

I was shocked she said 6 (hes almost 7) was too young to be tested. Maybe she doesn't think he has it but then something she can keep saying because its half her parenting (babying him).

School suspected "something" was up with my eldest since he was 4. Went to see a neuro psychologist, he was tested for different things early but for adhd, the neuro psychologist said the best is to wait til kids are in CP (French fist grade) because then they are not in kindergarten with lots of liberties anymore, they have to sit still and actually learn academic things (read, write and count), he said some kids that seem hyper in kindergarten might just adapt fine and calm down in 1st grade, if the kid can't then it's fairly certain it's adhd.
It was confirmed my son has adhd in december, 4 months after starting CP.

As always I am sure it depends on cases and countries, but the explanation he gave us seemed relevant.

Is landen in kinder? I question if his behavior this school year is indicative of adhd or if it’s just that he is having to complete his first real year of school online, isn’t familiar with the routine of school, and has a mother who isn’t helping him adjust. It’s hard enough for me as an adult to focus in an all day work training, I can only imagine what it’s like for these kids doing it everyday.
I know he went to preschool but it’s a hell of a lot different then regular school.

Wouldn’t her mother, who is a teacher, be able to give some advice?

I just thought it was odd because really he only went to school for 6 months last year, and it seems he got into trouble several times because she filmed that talk with him about getting a toy for so many days he was good. So a teacher had brought it up in that time period. He's almost 7. I do believe in this case it starts at home and Landen is her shining light, plus the one Chris is closest to of the boys. I would guess he gets away with a lot more at home and that could be where she should start imo

If it is "wait til they are older" why didn't she have Kaden tested when a teacher brought it up, instead of just asking her mom and blowing it off. If anything he does need speech therapy & no 9 year old (almost) should have to have their words on the screen but their 4 year old sister doesn't and she is the one that edits.

He's in 1st so he had 6 months of real school when this would have been brought up.

Yes.
I’m fairly certain she said she didn’t think so and her mum didn’t either.
She didn’t take it much further. If she did, she didn’t show it.

I thought it was autism with Kaden?

She said she had him tested for autism and speech issues in a report card video. It’s not the video I remember. But anyway she reckons “all the professionals she took him to said he was fine”.

They’re also actively taught that certain behaviours, such as being loud, physically flamboyant, or the baby talking, will give them the attention of the camera, and therefor the affection of their mother. She encourages the negative behaviours. In fact, she shit talks her quieter, more sensitive child in Kyson, and always has done - which has encouraged him to learn some of the wilder behaviours of his brothers. I think Landen seems like a pretty typical 6 year old little boy. I think he’s quite clever, and very spoiled, and likely bored, which causes him to act out. Kaden, on the other hand, has always displayed behaviours that indicate he is neuro-divergent, even as a baby, but Jess has either ignored it or come up with an excuse for it.

And all of the sugar doesn't help, we've seen her lunches. I don't know how she expects kids to focus on what she packs for them and I would guess being at home they are getting pop daily not just on weekend like she claims. I wouldn't want to be their teacher.

It’s about a cutoff date of birthdays before or after Sept 1 of when they can go to kindergarten.

For example: my granddaughter turns 5 Aug. 6, so she gets to enroll in K. But if her birthday was Sept 6, she’d have to wait a whole year.

So in a Kindergarten class, some kids can be barely 5, or almost 6.

Kindergarten here is actually the first year of formal learning, so maybe that’s the difference. Just the names, really.

(But in CA, if they turn 5 between Sept 2 -Dec 2, could optionally be enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten for a year, then start K a year later. That’s what Addie will be doing and I’m sure Jesss will try to explain it with a quick, “I don’t know”)

I also think Landen struggled in kindergarten because he wasn't getting enough sleep. He was still sleeping with Jess and she was up editing til 3 in the morning some nights,

Oh thank you. My daughter turned 7 in Feb and Landen is 7 in March but my daughter started year 2 in January. So I guess he is half a year behind her because of our school years

Not to mention what she’s teaching her children. It’s so hard to unlearn these habits as an adult.
