They were idiots getting that breed. The Braniffs aren’t the right fit. Aussies are high energy and aren’t going to do well cast to the side when Angie is onto her next baby thing. She probably thinks they’ll just run around outside and that’s all the activity they need. Nope. They need mental stimulation and lots of it and I doubt Angie can be bothered between all her projects and ignoring her kids so once again everything falls on CR! We have a 13 week old Toy Aussie puppy and our breeder said only get one. I don’t know how they have the time to dedicate to keeping littermate syndrome from happening (she claimed on IG that they are “on it” when they (CR) have a billion other living things to take care of. This is getting beyond ridiculous. She needs therapy.

I think she probably thinks her olders daughters will take care of them, just like they do with the pigs and rabbits. To be fair, they don't do anything outside the farm, so their life is doing homeschool and taking care of the animals and siblings. I wonder what Angela is going to do if God forbid their daughters decide to start having friends and spending time with them rather than being on the farm 24/7... Or when they go to college (if they go to college).

I genuinely can’t believe they got 2 more puppies. Like, I’m utterly shocked.

Even mini Aussies are still decent size dogs. Does she realise they aren’t going to be tiny puppies forever and they will soon be running around the house? I understand that she does know they will grow up but I don’t think she has really thought about having Aslan as well as these 2 new puppies all in the house at the same time. Not all dogs are calm, some dogs (especially working breeds) often have a lot of energy.

I understand the older girls can help with care but has she thought about maybe they don’t want to help with all the animals all the time and that maybe they want friends their own age? This is the age the girls should be socialising with others their own age and making their own friends. Obviously covid is happening at the moment but they should be going to the movies and having sleepovers with people their own age instead of being tethered to the farm with their family their entire lives.

I have a lot of respect for Ange and adopting and even with the animals I think her heart is in the right place (despite not adopting the animals but that’s another rant altogether) but she just doesn’t seem to realise she is getting in over her head. Yes chickens are easy to care for and don’t take much work but she seems to be adding all these more high maintenance animals like dogs to the family and I hope it doesn’t get too overwhelming when they grow

She adressed this today and I honestly get her point. But I am bothered by people getting animals on a whim. I just think it sets a terrible example for viewers... I understand she wanted to get animals but it really doesn't seem like she planned for this puppies, she didn't talk about it before, she didn't mention any research for the breed or for adopting two puppies who are siblings (terrible idea)...

I agree, I’m thinking she made the quick decision to get a herding dog to corral the goat that is jumping over the fence, but of course they went overboard and adopted three dogs. Angie’s parents adopted one, too, but let’s be real, their dog is going to spend a lot of time at the compound with the other two. That’s a very costly fix, those puppies were probably $3000 at the least. When the family bought their house, I was really impressed with their restraint in how much they spent, only $600K or so. But they are really making up for it by spending on this hobby farm. I wonder how much that recent vet visit and boarding for their one horse cost them? How much does hay cost everyday? I get stressed out having to meal plan everyday for three kids under 4, she also has three under 4, plus 5 more kids, plus 20+ animals to feed, multiple times a day. Granted, she’s not working a corporate job like a lot of us, but I don’t know she keeps willingly worsening her situation.

Have you seen her instagram post introducing the two new puppies? She really doesn't appreciate people questioning her choices.

I get it. I would hate to have strangers giving their opinion about my life choices. But I know that about myself and therefor I didn't seek out a career that is based on having a big amount of followers in order to generate income.

I imagine she is somewhat trapped in what she created for herself and her family. And she hates it now. With deciding to base your whole income on sharing your family life online there comes a great level of dependency and pressure. With that farm and the size of her family there's no easy was out into normal jobs. (She couldn't handle it all of cr would go back to work although she is not lazy at all ). And her family vlogging days are almost over. No new actual Baby in sight. The other kids at an age that is less interesting to viewers. And her kids being over having a camera in their face all the time...
And in order to stay relevant as just angela braniff there needs to be more than she is delivering.
I think she doesn't like what she is doing any more.

Also she used to be very well put together. Make up, hair always done and cute outfits. The last couple of videos she was more natural (which i totally get - we're in a pandemic not going places and she is doing farm things. ) it still stood out to me because she always was very well styled.

We’ve all seen that she is losing motivation. I’m just not convinced it’s for the reasons she claims. Not that she is lying to her viewers, but that she is lying to herself.

Does she really have fewer videos and less content because she didn’t want to be “misunderstood”? Or is it just a heck
of a lot of stuff she has on her plate?

Quite frankly my “criticisms” are more of a “concern this don’t isn’t sustainable”. One can live outside the box all they want, but everyone has limits.

Clearly she can do an amazing amount of work and hold energy I can’t- but even she will have limits. Especially as kids get older and health/medical conditions come up, people have special
Needs/circumstances & “plans” go awry (even simple things like a goat jumping the fence).

The issue is that her content has become totally boring, and unrelatable. She generally just talks into the camera about whatever (has she given up on the endless rambling about the fencing?), or is talking to the animals in that hideous baby voice (I didn't think that anything could be worse than the fake French accent, but the baby voice does it). Given the move and the property you would think that she would have some good content, but they have basically just thrown money at an instant farm, so that doesn't make them relatable to people? I'm not buying into the misunderstood thing - that's just word salad when she should be honest with herself that she is currently struggling to find her vlogging mojo.

Another grocery haul today, this time there are more veggies in it, well done. I'll say again though, my family of 4 still eats more fruits and veggies in a week and I wouldn't even consider us big veggie eaters. The rest is still full of pasta, more pasta, cheese and sausages. For real: corn dogs, hot dog sausages, smoked sausages, sausage meat, peperoni... How about some chicken breasts, steak, pork, fish? Sausages are such a heavily processed kind of food... I know they want chickens for eggs, but do they even eat eggs?

I think Angie is just a very sad person at this point because she has based her career on the internet and cr has been out of his job for awhile now and he’s just a glorified nanny essentially. I am not sure why she gets so upset about people talking about her...it’s the freaking internet what does she expect that everyone worships the ground she walks on? Ultimately it doesn’t matter if we watch her to snark about it...it’s still views and it’s still Adsense money....she is just on a mighty high horse but it’s fitting since she has her token kids and feels like she is above approach.

She claims she'd be living that life (2 parents without a job, 8 kids and 30 odd animals once they're done) even if she never did yt. Since yt funds her life, how would she be doing it with no online presence?

I assume since her parents own all the horses, do a lot of maintainence and had to ok everything, they pay for everything horse related and maybe some rent for all the space they use. That still leaves a lot of animals and children that need taken care of for someone who wants both parents home full time and home schooling. I guess there's some welfare disability income too.

I don't think people find her unrelatable because she's "perfect" as she claims, more that she contradicts herself and comes across as a bit unrealistic and arrogant now. The lectures are not good, she's no expert but loves to impart her apparent wisdom with empty words. At the end of the day she got to where she is by producing family vlogs for a few years and she no longer wants to do that but still wants the income. She's gone from monetizing the kids to monetizing the farm, but shares little because all she does is delegate to her dad, husband, kids and assistants and it's not vlog worthy.

Maybe it'd make more sense if she talked about why she wants each animal and what she actually does for them. I hope she manages to monetize Fairhaven Farm in a sustainable way. I was hoping they would've adopted their animals for a better life but she's super picky so i guess hatching chick's will be next. I wonder if they'll be colour coordinated like all the other animals

I may be overstepping my boundaries, as her parents don’t want to be part of the vlog. But I’ve been really curious about how they’ve amassed their wealth and are retired, as Angie says, in their 50’s. They’ve talked about a family trust fund for paying college, so I’m wondering if they live off a trust of some kind. I’ve only been watching TGN for four years, I don’t remember her mentioning what her parents do.

Today she announced her and CR are leaving the private group.

It’s strange, when Dawn and Lisa left it seemed by their demeanor that Angie had somewhat pushed them out. That sounds a bit harsh and blunt, but it really seemed Angie WANTED the group for her and CR.

Now it’s like what, a month later (less?) and they are stepping down.

She says she has too many things she is juggling and needs to cut back. Not new, we’ve all said the same thing and watched her drop other projects (sister show and her CR Podcast notably).

I also wonder if it wasn’t going to offer the paycheck she hoped after Dawn and Lisa left, as over 100 members left as well (to date, maybe more in line to). I don’t know.

Anyway, I don’t know if it’s privacy issues, burnout (she is BUSY!), or what.

She always had projects but now she's just jumping from one to the next, without finishing the previous one. I honestly feel like she's getting to that point where she's probably not going to have more kids and I think she's having a hard time with that, specially considering she had 8. So it's like every time one of her babies gets to toddles she gets a new one or starts planning an adoption. But if they've decided not to have more than that part of her life is over...

Yup. I think Benji is the last baby and now she has this weird void she doesn't know how to fill. Its so sad though because BENJI IS STILL A BABY!!!!! Her kids are all still so small and need so much attention. She isn't an empty nester, why isn't she enjoying this life she created?
