argh i wrote a big long post and its disappeared. basically wtf was that sermon about shame and addiction about?! i feel sad for GG after bri shared about GG’s childhood but how is that relevant to here and now!?

i can’t help but feel there is something with adam as she keeps going back to this stuff, but she won’t directly address it. she won’t even directly say that these rumors are swirling around adam. she just makes these evasive statements about addiction.

i would have a ton more respect for her and adam if they sat down and addressed this addiction and said we are getting help, we are navigating this privately but your love and support means the world. instead she throws these spoiled brat woe is me tantrums and gets angry because it’s everyone else’s fault addiction is stigmatized. she needs to stop projecting her own insecurities and shame onto everyone else. i am certain if they addressed these rumors and asked for everyone’s support, people would genuinely get behind them and stop snarking. the snark comes from the fact bri is defensive and evasive and people just want to know what’s up! pretty sure her mention of these gossip sites meant here and dcp. i feel like a lot of this stuff is a rod shes made for her own back.

Hello, I've been reading up on this forum for about a month or 2 and finally decided to make an account. I just want to post my 3 pet peeves about bri besides the obvious.
1. I hate how she uses Dia de Los Muertos as a Halloween decoration when it has nothing to do with it. It's about remembering dead loved ones but she uses it as fun decor.
2. On the similar topic, when she announced her move to Hawaii she started dancing the hula in that video and done so many times afterwards. Does she not understand the meaning behind hula and it's a story? And now that they're in Hawaii they're watching Moana...which is not set in Hawaii.
3. I can't stand how she says gnocchi. You claim to be Italian but can't even pronounce the dish right.

i agree with you. i’ve never personally believed he has any addiction issues. i think they have a few red flags for their relationship (who doesn’t lol) but i’ve never seriously believed he has addiction issues. but, she’s extremely defensive on the matter. which makes me smell a rat. why is she being so evasive for if there’s nothing there?

and trotting out that GG story as some kind of preamble to her sermon about addiction and shame. it just makes no sense.

I think that gg story was a desperate attempt to get people to stop suggesting Adam has an addiction but I do think she is completely avoiding the topic. Bri, everyone knows someone struggling with addiction. I don’t need some barely successful influencer telling me how drugs and alcohol etc can affect someone’s life. She doesn’t speak with empathy, she speaks as if she is better than everyone except when it suits her to be vulnerable.

Also she definitely bought subscribers. The negative comments on her videos haven’t ended and people aren’t falling for her crap anymore.

Saw in the comments on her latest videos some comments left by 10 and 13 year olds so it seems the younger subs think she is great. After her addiction story yesterday seems she had some subs coming to her defense on the next slides. Her out of left field addiction story is questionable that she was again bringing it up. Some comments must of set her off.

agree with the real coffee thing. i get anxiety too and have one large soy latte in the morning and that’s it. i think any doctor would agree that one cup of coffee won’t have much of an effect on your nervous system. i mean if you can drink coffee when pregnant and breastfeeding, i’m pretty sure she could have a cup now. just more woe is me feel sorry for me content i guess.

as a fellow aussie i know you’ll get it when i say this, but seriously how junky and unhealthy is the shit they buy for their families/kids? the only cereal we have at home is weetbix. the only bread i buy is light rye or whole meal. why on gods green earth would you buy multiple crappy sugary cereals and offer these are serious breakfast options? she seems educated, ditto for adam. they’re financially doing ok. they have a plethora of resources at their fingertips. why are their meals and dietary options so terrible? it’s honestly not hard to see why there’s such an issue with overweight kids these days. i’m sure it happens in australia too, but i do feel we are generally a healthier bunch food wise. maybe it’s the more sporty, outdoorsy lifestyle??

Yeah here in the good ol USA our eating habits are tragic. Cereal is like the number one breakfast for all ages I’m not a cereal eater but it’s super popular here. Processed food is what it is. Cheap and convenient. Eating healthy isn’t the least expensive option but a lot of people just don’t make the effort. However no these women can’t cook. I’m a stay at home mom and cook fifty times a day I don’t understand how bri and others just can’t do it. They literally film themselves doing their boring mundane tasks everyday, including cooking terrible food, how is it still terrible?! I would follow along 100% if they started making homemade sauces instead of the jarred stuff or homemade pasta. I mean it’s not hard. I could do that even when I worked full time. They’d just give us some crap about being “too busy”. None of these morons are too busy when again. They film their everyday lives. They never go above and beyond or make any real effort.
