Anyone keeping up with Kelsie? A lot has been happening lately. I’m surprised this thread isn’t more active. She’s pregnant again via IVF. I’m not a fan of her. On Instagram she seems to love blocking people for no good reason and getting angry when her followers say things she perceives as offensive that are obviously well meaning. I think she thrives off of drama. Anyway, she was supposed to have her first ultrasound today and she’s gone pretty radio silent on Instagram. Thoughts?

She partnered with a “fertility expert” back in 2018 and they did this master class that cost several hundred dollars. The guru was named Talia Lavor and she basically sucked Kelsie into this narrative that you can cure infertility with diet and supplements. You can’t find much on the program now, but there was a ton of backlash and she deleted most evidence of it from her channel. You can still find the referral link in some of her 2018 videos and she briefly mentions it in her 2018 year in review. I think she and Talia had a falling out or maybe she got into some legal trouble. The program was called “Finding Our Fertility.” I believe the two of them met when Kelsie went to a convention after her failed IUI and Talia saw a sucker who was willing to try anything.

So she's pregnant! About 10 weeks it looks like

Yup she is pregnant. She’s 10 weeks 3 days today. She’s had two prior losses that occurred between 10 and 11 weeks and she’s stated that this is going to be a hard week for her because of that. The loss she had at almost 11 weeks was also an IVF baby and she graduated her fertility clinic with that one too. Found out there was no heartbeat at her OB at almost 11 weeks. Upon testing, the baby was found to be lacking of any chromosomal issues. I can’t help but wonder why she has had two losses after 10 weeks when 1 of them was for sure not due to a chromosomal abnormality. Does anyone know if anything different was done this pregnancy to help prevent loss? I’m hopeful but I have a bad feeling about this upcoming week for her based on her past. I think there are some issues going on with her that even her fertility doctors can’t seem to figure out. To be completely honest, if I were in her shoes I would have used a surrogate to give her two embryos the best chance possible. I know that’s expensive though, and IVF is already astronomical in cost ( I know because I’ve done it twice myself).

I believe her loss from her previous transfer was with a lovenox protocol (her RE thought it might have been a blood clotting disorder causing her recurrent losses). This current RE treats all recurrent loss patients assuming they may have natural killer cells, while her previous doctors refused to test or treat for that. She also was put on lupron to keep her endo at bay. If I’m remembering correctly, her other 10 week loss was a missed miscarriage that ended up causing her Ashermans syndrome. At that point, I think she had only been diagnosed with PCOS.

Sorry, I didn’t see this. The fertility program was very bizarre. Not only was it very expensive, but Kelsie wasn’t exactly the ideal spokesperson for getting pregnant without medication. I can’t find much on Talia after the whole debacle, but I imagine Kelsie got frustrated when none of the methods worked.

She has been pretty quiet on Instagram. Don’t think I’ve seen a “story” from her since Sunday which is quite unusual for her. She did state she might be kind of quiet this week considering it’s the 10th week and it will be hard for her BUT at the same time the complete radio silence has got me a bit concerned Anyone know when her OB appointment is? My guess is Thursday since she has stated it would be at 11 weeks and that’s when she hits 11 weeks. I wonder if she’s going to wait until after the appointment to update again.

Oh wow that’s so mean! I don’t like Kelsie but I would never do something like that. I do not have TikTok, only Instagram and YouTube. Now I’m wondering if I should get TikTok since apparently a lot happens over there!
