Why is Chris called stabby? I’ve seen it in comments and heard it on the dad challenge but never heard the full story

i like DCP’s coverage sometimes like the other day on Jessssssssica but he, while saying he gets info from YTMD, also proceeded to shame it. Like man we do the SAME shit as you BETTER and don’t get paid for it lol. I know some people are overly critical in some points but I would say the vast majority have boundaries and are critical of these that deserve criticism.

What was her excuse for years not taking them? I'm not one that runs to the doctor every time something goes wrong or they sneeze but she had said they hadn't been or needed caught up long before the pandemic. And like you said I'm sure a doctors office with measures in place is safer than Disney, or flying, or Lake Tahoe with 3 other families or Target.

Was it for his ear or their yearly? You'd think someone that is on social media like she is and loves technology would use apps to video chat with a doctor.

I’m sure the old doctor took a set of observations from the kids at their check ups. It’s the most basic and standard thing a doctor does when you go to visit. The difference is this doctor gave you a print out whereas the old one clearly just kept it on their records. Did she really pay that little attention to what’s stranger, albeit a medical professional but you can never be too careful, was doing to her kids that she didn’t notice them checking their BP etc?

She has definitely said it, but more in an off-handed sort of way, like when he's out running errands, she'll open her phone and say "oh, he's 7 minutes away" like what? Who tf does that? To be fair, I think the whole family is just always sharing their location with each other, which I think is fine in general, but she has brought it up enough times that it seems weird and controlling the way she uses it. I think the normal thing to do is just text the other person to ask how long they'll be, instead of spying on their exact location.

Exactly!!! And why the hell would she record her child screaming in pain and then post it!? I would have grabbed my baby out of that car seat so fast, I would NEVER think to grab my phone and record. She needs serious mental help.

Sorry for multiple posts, watching the video in parts today. In the newest video every kid is on their iPad during dinner? For someone that doesn’t just give their kids iPads you’d think during dinner would be one major time to have screens away. To me it’s more proof f those kids don’t have any limits on screens and they don’t have table manners

I'm so glad I'm not the only one not feeling the Dad Challenge dude. I enjoyed a few videos...or rather, I like the parts of his videos when he calls her out and snarks on her like we do and I also like that the comments aren't just Jesssfans defending her or getting a disproportionate number of dislikes, but there are certain things he does that rub me the wrong way. I think he's pretty condescending and a bit old-fashioned in the way he thinks about certain things. I kinda think if he just stuck to watching and reacting to her videos it'd be better content, but only the extra entitled or cringey ones. We don't need him commenting on every single video she does (we do a fine job of that here lol) or reacting to her fans comments, that feels kinda like punching down and that never feels good. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't done the rude interaction with the Disneyland employee yet.

I think it's a bit overkill with his videos about her at the moment tbh. If his goal is truly to end family vloggers exploiting their children (and that's a big if because I don't necessarily believe that's his only goal) you'd think he wouldn't just focus on a few specific vloggers over and over and would expand his content to the genre as a whole. He either needs to watch more videos from other family vloggers and not just the ones he has already commented on or not watch them at all and comment on the community, rather than the individuals. I enjoyed the video he did with that psychologist about informed consent, more of that would be great and would prove that that is more in line with what he says his goal is. If he just keeps snarking on family vloggers, and especially if it's just the same ones again and again, that does not appear to be helping the cause that he says he's so passionate about. In my opinion he is just riding the wave of gossip and commentary channels being popular at the moment and his main goal is to be a youtuber, and it would just be an added bonus if he were able to shed some light on the harm in family vlogging.

I watched a couple of his vlogs at the time that everything blew up around the Stauffers giving up their adopted child - he quickly became obsessed though and made vlog after vlog about them for months. I also didn't like the anger that you pick up clearly from his vlogs - he isn't actually about protecting the kids (he fully named on of the Weiss older teenagers in a vlog) - it's all about him.

I noticed that Lilia told her mom she could see her location (when she was in LA). Another example that, privacy and trust do not exist or matter in that family.

A lot of families use Life360 to track locations for things like sports, practice, going out with friends, etc. A lot of people I know use the app with their families, so I just assumed Jessica and her family were also using Life360. Did not seem weird to me.
