I think their channel is done till they start IVF again. Their homesteading content is bland and stupid at that. This whole “learn as we go” thing is not working for them because they act like “know it all’s” constantly.

In their recent vlog they said that their hose is a mess because of the circumstances but they never have been able to keep a clean condo Rv or house.

The videos are so very boring. I would love to see more of Cassidy's development. She is such a sweet little soul. Their Q & A was rivetingly mind numbing. I did not bother to watch right through. On the plus side, their vegetable plot is thriving, someone has worked hard. But they are know it alls.

I didn't bother with the Q&A either, but I did laugh when I saw that sex was one of the topics they'd be covering. Alex couldn't even bring herself to say the word nipple when discussing breastfeeding, so I don't imagine she has much to contribute on that topic.

I miss when this forum was super active. I’m not sure what happened but for a while it looked like it was taken down, I know I was banned (?) and there wasn’t really a good place to figure out what happened. Not sure if most everyone went elsewhere or what but I’ve still been keeping and eye on these two and oh boy are they boring.

They’re hinting at going back to the fertility clinic soon. I know they said in one vlog that they’re testing to see if Cassidy’s heart defect is genetic, but even if it is, that it wouldn’t stop them from having more bio kids because “aren’t you glad you’re alive?” (Or something along those lines, directed to Cassidy)

The weirdest thing I think I’ve heard Alex go on about lately is how she eats gluten again because Phil makes sourdough bread- because sourdough uses a starter instead of yeast, which was “invented in a lab”. She’s absolutely nuts. Sourdough starter contains wild strains of yeast, and the store bought yeast was, as I’m sure we all know, not “invented”
She’s nuts!!

I was going to comment on the proposed IVF "growing our family" comment. Mind boggling to imagine how Alex thinks she will cope, though she will doubtless have massive support from both sets of grandparents, not to mention Kinsley and Callie. At least we will get a change from the "homestead".

One sugar mentioned Little House on the Prairie - do they honestly think they are in this league, or with the Hollar Homestead, who work endlessly on their land? Alex dresses for the part, but that is as far as it goes.

It's so tone-deaf for her to gripe about how much it SUCKS that they can't "just grow their family" while she's literally sharing pictures of her 3 daughters. What more does she want? No matter how many children she has, she will always be lamenting the fact that she couldn't have one more.

I totally agree with you. 3 kids feels like a lot of kids to me, but until they have at least a couple of boys and honestly, in my opinion, a naturally conceived kid (which is never going to happen) I don’t think Alex will ever be happy. She seems to be pretty obsessed with the Duggars, and wants a whole fundie lifestyle on a farm with a ton of kids.

I donated my eggs once and I remember sitting in the fertility clinic and there was a family with a toddler and a baby, and I thought it was so weird that they were there. Once you have a kid or two, I feel like that should be enough.

It’s also weird to me that she isn’t sure if she wants to share her fertility “journey” or focus on their homestead content. Looking at their social media engagement, and probably financial gain, the obvious answer would be to share the fertility stuff. No one cares about their chickens and struggling garden.

It's honestly such a joke to call their lifestyle "homesteading." Having a medium-sized garden and a brood of poorly kept hens does not make you homesteaders. There are literally people in HOA neighborhoods who do the same thing.
There is nothing self-sustaining about their lifestyle when they still purchase all their clothes and textiles, use disposable diapers, trash bags and paper products, buy prepackaged convenience foods, spend money on trendy boho home decor, and haul around their RV in a gas-guzzling truck.

I wrote a reply two days since, which didn't submit, for some reason. Here goes again. I think Cassidy is absolutely gorgeous, and how well she is doing, I am amazed at her progress. I do wish the girls would not screech like Alex, perhaps the large rooms make their voices shrill, but Phil's everlasting stupidity really gets me, I normally fast forward the vlog when he opens his mouth. Alex is now trying to impress with her cooking.

I watched that too! He made really good points about family vloggers. After that video came out, it looks like Phil and Alex did damage control by deleting the videos.

Something definitely seemed off about that story. I don’t know if it was to get out of having surgery or to place the burden of infertility treatments on Alex or what, but it seemed bizarre.

And yeah- their attachment to Dr. Hatch is weird. She isn’t any sort of a world renowned fertility specialist. She hasn’t done anything groundbreaking. From the sounds of what their new doctors said, she skipped a bunch of tests and procedures. And, from watching their previous videos, she really just kept doing the same thing over and over again until finally one of them stuck. Such a waste of time and money. I think the only reason they like her is because she panders to them, lets them film her/all of their appointments, and gives into all of Alex’s whims. She even seems to go along with the lies about implanted embryos on “life support” and “twins”.
