After my last old video find of them using the r-word and, even worse, in front of their disabled son, I knew they were ableist but I was still saddened watching this video. She and Daniel both use the word cri-ple several times. Even the CC has the word blocked out when they say it because they know it’s not a good word to use.

Well, in a video from around that time, she openly admits that she has had terrible health anxiety from the time she was in seventh grade and it got worse 2 years ago when something happened with her health. It makes sense why she has had so many MRIs and why Evie has as well. People with health anxiety don’t make up/cause symptoms like in munchausen or if malingering, they just take what are normal “symptoms”/bodily sensations and are convinced it’s an issue. They also tend to make a huge deal out of something that’s not that big of a deal like making a huge fuss over a sprained ankle or being convinced a random pain is cancer. People with health anxiety tend to project it onto their loved ones; they worry about their kids and family like they worry about themselves. I feel like Evie is starting to develop her own health anxiety thanks to Kendal and her dramatics.

In the most recent series of IG stories K and E are sitting outside rehashing the time that K split her head open. Evie says : this reminds me of competition. This reminds me of summit. Then she makes a face (cringe type face) and Kendal asks Evie if that’s embarrassing.

Now I’m really confused. Evie practically bought her way onto that level 1 summit team. She wanted to go to summit. Kendal wanted to go to summit. They vlogged about summit. They flooded IG with stories about summit. It didn’t matter that Evie was going with level 1 because she was going to summit. And now that was embarrassing?

11x in 9 years? Are you sure about that? Daniel has said multiple times he’s had the same job since he graduated college (before he quit to do the tube full time). So unless they moved but stayed in the same general area, I don’t think this is right.

Also, I agree with you completely- Kendal calls something anxiety when I am sure she has never truly experienced anxiety the way others have. Kendal is attention seeking and needs validation. This most likely stems from her childhood and lack of affection and attention from her parents.

I don't know if this lady moved around in NC & I don't care. What I do know, is that you're 100% correct when you say the anxiety that she claims to have is suffered by millions of people. However, millions of people don't berate children who literally pay their bills or exploit their own children to pay their bills. They don't keep their children isolated from the outside world since birth. Millions of people don't stalk or prey on people who don't put their shopping carts back. They don't mock the elderly or create stories to make themselves appear wealthier than they actually are. I could go on and on here, but you get the point. These are most definitely not the traits of anxiety (while the MRI's and emergency trips may be, I think we can all agree that 90% of those are for views). Kendal has narcissistic traits. Whoa whoa whoa. I am not making excuses for her AT ALL. I’m just saying health anxiety *by definition* isn’t when you make up symptoms. It was simply a piece of information for context. Kendal does have health anxiety but that’s doesn’t preclude her from malingering or creating/dramatizing symptoms. I was just sharing the info I got from that video and pointing out her health anxiety wouldn’t cause her to make up symptoms but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t also create symptoms, they’re just not rooted in her health anxiety/hypochondriasis. As with everything in their videos it’s a set up. I’m sure she did order it but they feigned shock is just too fake. Anyway why are they filming her opening a package? She left that part in the video accidentally and she was being quite harsh with her son, directing him how to pose to look the saddest and telling him to pretend to cry meanwhile he is actually in distress and keeps saying “mom I’m actually crying”. That’s how I picture Kendal is when trying to get a thumbnail, ignoring her kids and their emotions and yelling directions at them instead of actually comforting her kids. I think most of us know that this goes on behind the scenes of family vloggers but it was still shocking and sad to actually see it.

I saw it. DCC had her on his show. He lost me as a follower for that because he basically threw all his convictions out the window for an interview with her. Her apology wasn't sincere. hahahaha! To be fair, there were plenty of positive reviews; I just picked a few negative ones. I figure a lot of people leave positive reviews because they have something to gain by doing so (free stays maybe? lol) & some no doubt are friends, relatives, employees; but people who leave negative reviews, don't really have anything to gain...they're just pissed. That's why, with me, negative reviews hold the most water.
