I scrolled through their videos from 4-8 weeks ago and with the exception of two ‚shorts‘ that they posted and another whereby Daniel took Kapri Brinley and a couple of their friends to target (no sight nor sign of K or E in that video), I cannot, for the life of me, find a two week time period where they didn’t leave the house to go somewhere. If they all have Covid at the same time, then they all should have been quarantined at the same time and I just don’t see when that could have been.

They absolutely never quarantined. They just waited until they felt a little better- which was a few days at most. The girls still went to cheer and probably spread their germs there. They still went about their days without a care in the world.

They are so entitled that this would make sense. They need to step back and recognize their privilege. I honestly am on the fence on whether they had it or not but regardless, they lied. They either lied when they had it, pretending they were perfectly healthy so they could go on living like normal all whilst infecting people (especially at cheer where they’re in very close contact with others) OR they lied about having it so they could make a video about it. Nothing can just be the straightforward truth with them.

In her Ig stories today someone asked what she loves most about the new gym and if all three girls could get to summit and she says of course and she doesn’t mind that the girls are pushed hard as ‚WE‘ didn’t go there to mess around. I swear the girls would probably have been just as happy in Cougars but Kendal couldn’t handle that her girls weren’t winning. She sees herself as part of that cheer team. My children are all athletes. The eldest wanted to train more and achieve more so she moved to a new coach and training plan. She is now National Junior Champion in heptathlon. She wanted this, not us! We didn’t win that title. She did. Assuming she doesn’t get injured she will likely start traveling to compete internationally for this country. But this is her Motivation, not ours. Our other two are less ambitious and are very happy to train and compete at a level appropriate to their standards. We support them just as much as we support the eldest and don’t for one minute take any credit for their achievements either. This is their sport.

I am SO glad you brought this up! When I was watching their last vlog, I noticed that it seems like Brin & Kap aren’t enjoying cheer anymore when they used to love it. When they film in the car before each practice, B & K both look so sad and seem to be afraid of what’s to come. Their eyes used to light up when talking about cheer and they don’t anymore. They don’t seem to even want to talk about it, evading their parents questioning. I know some cheer coaches can be VERY intense and don’t necessarily care about their athletes, they just want a winning team and will do what they need to get there. I think B & K have lost the joy of the sport because of how hard they’re be pushed. As you mentioned, it’s up to the kids to be motivated to work hard, you can’t do it for them. I saw it myself in martial arts. The kids at the dojo who’s parents were forcing them through it almost never made it to black belt because you need to want it yourself. You can’t force a kid into becoming a successful athlete; it’s up to the athlete to do the work. Kendal just wants her kids to do the best at everything and doesn’t care the toll it takes in her kids to get there. I agree that B & K would’ve likely been just as happy at Wellington, competing but at a lower level of competition than FC does, and actually having fun. Not everyone is cut out to be a highly competitive athlete and that’s not a bad thing, we’re just all different. I think Kendal needs to accept that the kids aren’t count out to be competitive athletes.

It’s so obvious that neither Kapri nor Brinley is particularly talented in tumbling or acrobatics. Perhaps I understand too much because I’m a gymnastics coach but just watching how they were doing those duck and bear walks on the airtrack shows clearly a lack of flexibility, strength and coordination. I am a huge fan of kids doing sport, particularly competitive sports because I think there are so many life lessons to be learned from competition, BUT with realistic expectations. I would hate for any child to feel that only winning matters. Kendal has moved her kids to this gym because she wants them to win. I said it in my previous post and I’ll say it again: a child/teenager needs to be motivated. Some are motivated to win at the highest level, some just want to compete and have fun at a level suited to their abilities. Both are absolutely ok! But forcing someone into a situation where they feel out of their depth or uncomfortable because it’s too strenuous or simply beyond their capabilities is detrimental to their future in the sport.

Ohhhh….by the way, no one in Europe is talking about a Tsunami. La Palma, the Location of this volcano, is a tiny island. 708 sq km in size. The lava has already reached the sea. It’s causing a lot of smoke and fumes as it mixes with the water but that’s about it. Commercial flights to and from the island have been resumed. 300 people evacuated from their homes. I’m not entirely sure who has even suggested the island will collapse into the sea and cause the tsunami but it sounds a bit like TikTok BS to me.

Yes 👏👏👏. We are definitely on the same page with this one. Seeing as you’re a gymnastic coach, I’m sure you’re evaluation of their skills is pretty spot on. I’m not a gymnast nor a cheerleader, just a fan of watching both sports. B & K had the best of both worlds at Cougars because they got to do the sport they love, have fun doing it, and got to compete so have the opportunity to learn all to be learnt from it but without the stress. I think EV wants to believe everything her mom tells her about how perfect her tumbling is but is secretly insecure about it which is why she hides behind her injury. I know she’s talked about being on a level 5 or worlds team next year but she barely has the basic tumbling skills required for level 3 (which she’s on). If she really wants to win big competitions, she be better off on a lower level team that’s really great and wins consistently in their division rather than rushing off to a bad worlds team that finishes last at worlds. EV needs to have a full to get on a worlds team and we all know that’s not happening by the start of next season. I feel bad for the girls being pushed so hard so Kendal can live vicariously through them.

Random thought… sorry for the double post, I can’t edit my last one anymore. One thing I found funny was that when EV and Kendal talked about switching to Fire, they made it sound like she was off to bigger and better things but I bet she regretted it when she saw the ugly uniforms fire had especially compared to the cute ones at Cougars. EV seems pretty preoccupied with aesthetics so I could see it pissing her off to have to wear that ugly uni and the heavy red eye makeup 🙈.

@Glass Half Full, I’d love to hear your take on this as a gymnastics coach. Today in the vlog, they were talking about EV’s new diagnosis of snapping hip syndrome (which I was misdiagnosed with a one point and was told it doesn’t cause pain but it’s causing EV’s leg pain? Maybe I’m wrong 🤷‍♀️). Anyways! EV and Kendal were saying how every cheerleader deals with pain and that her whole team has injuries that cause them issues. Wouldn’t that be a HUGE red flag to a parent signing their child up for a gym where basically every other athlete is injured? It would be for me. It would definitely lead me to believe that there is either improper coaching and/or that the coaches are pushing their athletes beyond what’s safe for them hence them getting injured. I understand competitive athletes having chronic pain after years of stress on the body but this doesn’t seem right for a level 3 cheer team. You shouldn’t have a group of teens that can barely make it through practice…

Absolutely correct. An injury should be a rarity! It should not be commonplace and should definitely be a red flag. In most cases an injury will happen through accident and at the top level gymnasts get overuse injuries like stress fractures. But if many younger kids on a level three cheer team are injured I’d be questioning how much conditioning/physical preparation is being done to ensure the girls/boys are strong enough to perform the skills required of them. Furthermore I’d be questioning the knowledge of the coaching staff and if they are teaching the skills correctly. Level three is low level competitive cheer. Injuries should not be the norm. Doing a few sit ups does not count as conditioning. I’d love to know just how skills are being taught. A backhand spring can take a year to learn correctly. I saw Evie’s three backhandsprings on the airtrack in her garden and the technique isn’t good! When she lands on her hands her shoulders close putting excess force on her wrists and back. Kendal needs to get over herself. Her girls are not and will not be amazing cheerleaders.

Kendal treats EV like she’s her friend, not like she’s her daughter. In their latest video, Kendal and EV are talking about how much they text each other and how nobody can ever read their texts because of how bad they are (I assume they make fun of a lot of people and say very nasty things). They both agree they are going to hell for what they’ve said. In what world does a mother not only condone, but support and encourage their teenage daughter to say such vile things and then joke about going to hell?? Kendal is an awful person and now she’s perpetuating all her nastiness on her daughter. Kenny wants EV to be just like her and it’s disgusting.

Thanks for confirming!!! I’m glad it’s as big of red flag to you as it is to me. When I started martial arts, my parents went and checked out many dojo’s to make sure the teachers were qualified and wouldn’t push to injury. Injuries were NOT the norm at our dojo and we were doing a full contact sport involving kicks to the head and stuff. In the cheerleading world, it seems as though a lot of the coaches aren’t qualified, they are simply past cheerleaders with no additional training on how to coach safely. If you look up the show on YouTube “cheerleaders” by awesomeness TV, it follows a 2 worlds team (level 6 + 7) that have one Worlds many a time and the amount of conditioning they do is crazy! The first few weeks at the gym, new kids especially are puking all over the place from the hard conditioning. BUT the conditioning is what allows them to have athletes who can handle throwing standing fulls and combos to full (some even have a double at the level!). EV said in the last vlog that cheer is her life but if she really cared about advancing and getting stronger, she’d be conditioning and stretching on her days off of the gym with a rest day or 2. All of the girls technique could use work. They need to gain more strength, more flexibility, and improve their technique big time if they want to learn harder skills and move up levels. None of them seem to have the drive to do this though. Kendal needs to be realistic for once and just encourage her kids to be the best they can be which may be no more than a level 3 athlete but that’s a-okay. They really should’ve left Brin & Kap at Cougars; they look like they’re being sent off to war before every practice now when at cougars they were hyped up for days looking forward to practices!

Kenny wants EV to be just like her and EV wants to be just like Kendal. Their relationship is so unhealthy. I mean, we all see the nasty comments Kendal replies to people online with so we know who she is deep down and she’s dragging EV down that path of being mean and bitter to everyone. EV may be 17 but that means she’s still a kid and she still needs her mom. I don’t think her mom has ever been there for her as a mom though. In their videos from the start of their channel about 4-5 years ago, K basically treated EV as another mother and left her to watch the kids so K could go to Starbucks or go vlog or go take a nap and just let EV do everything for them. Now that the kids are old enough to be more self sufficient, I don’t see this happening anymore but it also means that Bones is being left behind because his parents have no interest in parenting him and EV isn’t parenting him anymore so he’s just ignored and left to play on his iPad all day. I feel sO bad for bones.

You’re right. I think Kendal has no real friends and is trying to create a best friend relationship with her daughter. Definitely unhealthy. Meanwhile Evie posted some picture of a pretty blonde girl who also seems to be a cheerleader from Illinois and has labeled it ‘bestie’ or ‘BFF’. Sorry, but how can you be best friends with someone who you’ve probably met online? Probably neither Kendal nor Evie has friends because they’re both horrible

Thanks, appreciate it 🙂 I’ve been trying to keep up with her stories because she’s been very preach-y lately and that’s where she tends to contradict herself a ton but some days I just forget to check 🤷‍♀️. I’ve never made a video like this before so don’t expect an award winning documentary 😉. I’ll probably just post it here not YouTube since they could copyright claim it and get it taken down on YouTube but not here

So Kendal or Daniel may very well be reading here…. At the very end of their video, they added a random scene of EV at cheer throwing a round off back handspring back tuck. Just a weird coincidence considering we’ve been talking about EV’s tumbling/back tuck. I’ll leave the technique critique to @Glass Half Full 😉
