Ok so I finally got to watch a few of the videos I missed (not all…too much Kendal in one morning is bad for your health). And then I watched her Instagram rant. Does Kendal honestly think we hold her in higher regard than we hold ourselves? Does she think we watch because we want to see perfection? I literally cannot understand what she thinks of people in the world around her.

I’m going to lay it out for you here Kendal from my perspective:

I watch your videos because I have a weak spot for Florida. I truly do love the state because of the weather, the wildlife and the open spaces. As a family we have been there probably 10 times. And every time we go I’m excited to visit new areas. I will retire there. Unfortunately you (Kendal) do not appreciate the state in which you live and confine yourselves to Target, shopping malls and Disney. However, the sunshine and palm trees in your videos do make me happy.

I am not jealous of you Kendal. As a family we have so much more than you do. I find your antics highly entertaining though…trying to fake a great lifestyle must be hard work. But it’s so transparent. And this is why I am here. It’s to snark on you. I am not claiming to be better than you (remember we are all imperfect) but I sure enjoy watching you lose your mind when you’ve been criticised or called out for lying or for clickbait.

for that message to Kendal! Anytime someone comments something negative, Ken assumes it means they’re bitter, jealous, ungodly people who sit in their parents basement all day eating popcorn and hating on them. In reality, I think people are just seeing through the click bait rich life facade that had people fooled for so long. People won’t continue being fooled for much longer and that’s making Ken even more desperate for views & subscribers which is back firing. Their attempt at making successful video by luxury car shopping just came across as EV being a huge snob, bringing in many more negative than positive comments. She wanted to invoke jealously but it really just showed how much the live in a fantasy world that their subscribers are no longer able to relate to. I mean, their subscriber count hasn’t moved in forever and they hardly get even 200 comments on a video when they have 1.3M subscribers. Other channels with under 50k subscribers get more comments than them. The channel is flopping and they’re trying hard to save it but they just end up distancing themselves from viewers even more rather than being relatable and/or aspirational.

Clearly this is a relationship that has been going on for a while because Kapri is hanging off Cameron like she knows him well. That’s so freaking awkward that Brin, Kap, and Daniel were there. Let EV go on her date on her own and Daniel could’ve brought the other girls a different night. I’m sure it was probably like a week long thing at least so they could’ve gone on a different day easily. If they never let EV or the other girls be independent, they *will* end up being dependent on their parents their whole life. Kids can’t mature and make mistakes to grow from and figure out who they are as individuals when their parents are helicopter parents. I wonder if they believe in chaperoning dates until a certain age/time in the relationship? I know they were fundies in the past but they seem to be far from their fundie past and beliefs. I know it’s a normal thing for fundies to have their dates chaperoned basically until they’re married but with the way EV was hanging off of Cameron, that would not go along with the fundie beliefs . The other option which I think is more likely is that they know their channel is dying so they take every opportunity they get to make “good” content and if that involves following their kids around on activities and outings where the parents aren’t supposed to be there, so be it. They’re like a package deal, you can’t be friends or date anyone in the family without having to deal with the rest of the family tagging along all the time and never giving them room to breathe. Man, I really do worry for these poor kids futures; I may not like things about them but they are simply products of their environment and it’s hard to turn out “normal” being raised how they’ve been raised.

They probably started hanging out a lot all of a sudden and the whole family has probably been tagging along on those dates too hence why Kap and Brin would be so comfortable grabbing and hanging off of him like that.

Speaking of their fast relationship attachments, has anyone else noticed that EV is basically turning into her “best friend” Yami? EV dyes her hair black, tans her skin to have a more bronzed complexion, wears the exact same outfits as Yami, and so on. Kendal posted a photo of the two of them at HHNs and they were literally in the exact same outfit and looked like twins. The thing is, EV’s life revolves around her friend’s, she’s her all time bestest friend, but, if you look on Yami’s social media, she appears to have a lot of close friends and EV doesn’t show up much at all. I would honestly be a little freaked out if my new friend literally started turning into me, it’s kinda weird. I get that EV looks up to her, that’s fine and dandy, they can share interests and styles without EV being a clone of Y. She hasn’t figured out how to be her own person yet.

I did notice and agree with all of what you said. Even my 14 year old would be pissed if her best friend started copy catting. It’s really weird for 17 year olds to be like this. I wonder how long more that friendship will last. Also, where are all Evie’s cheer friends? I haven’t seen any of them in a long time. Even in the comments on social media their silence I’d deafening.

All of you who said how fast the Rich girls form attachments are spot on! They seem so desperate to best friends with their peers.

And why did Daniel allow Kapri to waste her birthday money on buying so many squishmallows. Again the obsession with these toys is weird. I think it also stems back to needing to feel attached to something

Yes and Evie was trying so hard to convince Kendal that she didnt want a Nissan Altima because of Yami and that she didnt even know thats the car she has, like cmon Evie how else would you know, all they know is Jeeps and Teslas. Evie tries to copy every friend shes had but this is the most all out shes gone to look the same.

This family is going to ruin Evie's relationship and on top of that now the internet knows, i don't think that was a good move but only time will tell. Im just waiting for Kendal to drag Cameron through the dirt.

If you notice, all of EV’s outfits/clothing items are things we’ve seen Yami wear (when EV is “dressed up” aka not a big tee and workout shorts). Especially EV wearing that white ball cap all the time, that came from Yami.

Neither Caitlyn nor Gigi have been around in forever! I always thought Gigi was a clout chaser but undecided on if I think Caitlin was. I think where they get attached so quickly to the point they see each other almost everyday, friends find out much quicker who the Riches truly are and one small fight once Kendal gets involved blows up the whole relationship. EV doesn’t seem like a pleasant person to be around based off of how we see her interacting with her siblings and her characteristics; maybe this is why friends disappear so quickly.

Here’s something kind of funny I spotted in a vlog from ~9 months ago. Kendal keeps getting asked on Instagram her opinion of Trump and Biden. Though she has admitted in the past that she’s a trump supporter, she won’t openly say it anymore (probably because she’s gotten a lot of flack for it on tiktok especially). But the videos don’t lie! There is a Trump campaign sweater in Brin & Kap’s closet LOL . She may not admit to it but the videos narc on her . This isn’t my most interesting post I’ve ever posted on here but just made me laugh so thought I’d share!

Well, to the Rich family, yes being a god-loving kind of guy is very desirable! That’s exactly what they want for their girls: a god loving southern boy who is respectful, well mannered, and can speak to adults (I’ve noticed that so many teen boys can’t). He checks off all the points! They’re not fundie anymore but they still hold a lot of their religious beliefs well completely dropping others they used to believe like dressing modestly (for the girls anyway).

Caitlyn did seem like a true friend to me. I don’t even remember Kate so that tells you somewhat what I thought of her LOL. I think EV feels like she needs to be better than everyone and wants people to look up to/envy her. Girls her age catch on to that quite quickly hence the revolving door of friends but the little girls don’t see through the facade, giving EV the attention she’s looking for. I think it stems from EV having an extremely low self esteem. Around the young girls, she can be that inspirational figure to them and she likes that. It also seems as she could be less mature than other girls her age because of her very sheltered environment.

On a positive note, I like Evie’s room. I like the brick-look wall and location of the bed. The TV is in a better location too. Not sure the furniture is top quality but it’s no offensive

Has she not taught her that friendships need work to develop. And friends have arguments too. A fight is normal and no reason to dump the friend.

When they lived in NC, they were also pretty isolated and spent a lot of time with just the family. That means that EV being the oldest, her friends were her sisters who are 3+ years younger than her. She had a lot of adult responsibilities back then as a 12 year old. These two things give her a weird mixture of being mature in some ways but immature in others. She definitely thinks friendships are like in Hallmark movies leading to the first fight basically ruining the whole relationship. Her parents showed her constantly growing up that money can buy love by them buying EV’s love. She doesn’t know how to build a relationship and navigate the highs and lows because she was never taught how. I hope she’ll go to college in person, living outside of her parents house; it would help her grow immensely as a person.

I think college would be an amazing experience for her….for any young adult. I often try to encourage our girls to consider a US college education. Especially the eldest given her sporting talents. She would definitely be in the running for a full athletic scholarship to a D1 college. But she prefers to remain here to study and to train.
I am not sure Evie is equipped to handle college though….she lacks social skills, life skills and academic basics. I’m also not sure it’s something her parents could afford.
