Re: Phil and Alex: Screeching, Leeching, Fake Teaching and Preaching! | Part 12
Ok finally I am able to post again. Phil and Alex have become so ridiculous.
The whole “we want a cow” thing is so hair brained it’s not even funny. Neither of them have ever taken care of large livestock. Even a mini jersey is “big” I don’t understand why they wouldn’t start with goats(which are better for dairy sensitive people anyway).
On the recent video with Phil’s surgery I just wanted to scream at him. He simply doesn’t want more kids but is not able to communicate that.

Yes!! Phil is so clearly not on board with “growing their family”. If he really wanted a baby he would do anything to make that happen- even a small, outpatient, hardly-invasive surgery. And god, hearing him bitch about his friend’s incision cite (which can’t be more than a few centimeters a most) still hurting years later while expecting Alex to undergo all her procedures just flabbergasts me.Amsouthernbell wrote:Ok finally I am able to post again. Does he have any idea of the permanent changes her body and the girls’ birth moms’ bodies went through to bring them into this world?? I’ve not had kids yet and even I know it can result in permanent pain, leaky bladders, birth trauma, body changes, etc. His entitlement to be hands off is insane to me.
If you don’t want more kids or don’t want more kids now, talk to your wife. His excuses are so transparent. The cost of the surgery can’t be the issue, nor the status of insurance covering it because they’ve already spent so much money out of pocket on IVF. We all know they’ll make enough money on videos about his surgery to pay for most if not all of it anyway.
And for someone who believes so much in Jesus and miracles and god providing, he has absolutely no faith that it would work. He’s asking for a guarantee- something they constantly preach that you’ll never have in life.

They say they have strong faith and convictions with in their Christian believes. And yet phil fails every video to be a leader to his wife. Personally I think if Alex doesn’t get what she wants she doesn’t “put out”. Their relationship is far from a solid equal relationship.PinkMoscato wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 7:29 pmYes!! 3 kids is a good base line. They want to build their “homestead” not realizing that it takes actual work. Can any of us see pregnant Alex out there doing actual work....no

Their latest video is nuts! Alex wants cows, pigs, dogs, more pasture. How will grass grow where the trees are it looks pretty shady and lots of trees. Apparently the pigs will do all the pasture work for them hahahhaha. No you actually have to do the work!

Re: Phil and Alex: Screeching, Leeching, Fake Teaching and Preaching! | Part 12
Ugh I just watched it. It’s painful for me because we actually homestead. We have chickens, goats and usually 2-3 pigs a year plus our garden. I would love to understand why the “party barn” has to stay as it is just for riding bikes? It would be perfect to take that lumber and make stalls etc. so much easier and “sustainable”Lauratheaussie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 7:53 pm Their latest video is nuts! I also have no clue why they refuse to even mention goats. And this dog idea is nuts too. Get a blue heeler that’s short haired. But they all need training. Extensive training. And teaching a dog to a) protect livestock but b) not chase off deer is a process.

Dear oh dear. Read the above comments before fast forwarding through the latest video. They really are not grounded at all. Alex wearing overalls over a WHITE top!! Whilst I think a dog would be a good idea in some respects, any dog makes a lot of extra work. I can imagine P & A shrieking at the poor thing, not to mention the girls, whose voices are so loud and shrill. They chirp about getting advice, for what it is worth, my advice is forget it!

The tour of the extra room is completely boring. 30ish minute of blahblahblah sustainability and boringness. This could have been done in 15min tops

Goats would make a lot of sense! If I were going to start having animals, I think I’d do goats before pigs or cows. They have some of the same benefits she wants too! She could do goat milk (even more ‘crunchy’ than cow milk) and goats will eat weeds and underbrush like she wants the pigs to!Amsouthernbell wrote:Ugh I just watched it. Pigs are also notorious escape artists and catching a pig on the run is not for the weak hearted and the more you screech the faster they run.PinkMoscato wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:51 pmGoats would make a lot of sense! Re: Phil and Alex: Screeching, Leeching, Fake Teaching and Preaching! | Part 12
Latest video, totaly boring. Both Phil and Alex shouting, I turn the volume down. Cassidy perilously near to a box of wood screws, before Alex spots her, and picks them up. Dangerous inside and outside the "farmhouse". Cassidy among soil and dirt outside. Perhaps because they have never had a garden, they are unaware of the dangers for a toddler.
The extension tour in the previous video, where do they get their money from? Neither of them work, except with their mouths.

Do the new curtains look bad or is it just me? They are way too long. The food on the table also looked horrible.

Agree with you on the curtain length.. being that length they will never hang nicely.Lauratheaussie wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 7:39 pm Do the new curtains look bad or is it just me? They are way too long. The food on the table also looked horrible.

I think you guys don’t understand how much YouTube pays. Lol
Their job IS YouTube. And all of those sponsored posts on Instagram. Alex is always talking about Kiwi Co. It’s not because she wants to.

While this is true their views are down. Unless they talk infertility they don’t get high views at all. They are simply too preachy for regular people. Her sourdough video is just plain boring and it’s not informative

Ok but to be fair, Phil and Alex are absolutely the kind of lame couple to do a kiwi crate together for date night, sponsored post or not.
