With the views like they are, how long do you think the Rich family can continue to live off their YouTube income? I think 1-2 years max before Daniel goes back to work. Kenny will continue to try to push out boring content around cheer, shopping, makeovers, etc., but views will continue to slide and she’ll fade away before Brin is out of high school.

It’s pretty obvious their views on all social media are low. Their follower count has stayed the same for at least a year - maybe longer and Kendal continually tries to find ways to boost her Instagram engagement by tagging covid badges to her stories (we all know she’s against covid and this current president). She’s grasping at straws and there’s no way they can continue to live as they are.
I don’t know how they can continue like this. Their current viewership will grow up and realise how much of a cow she is. Hopefully they’ll come and find us over here. Having said that, I can see many family channels have poor engagement at the moment: the weiss life, 8 passengers, crazy pieces, April and davey. And then there are channels like the laBrants who keep things alive by having more babies. There’ll be a lot of ex youtubers flooding the job market in the next few years.

Evie’s tiktok account was banned again (multiple community violations) and she’s been posting on another account. One of her more recent videos encourages comments from friends. They are quite telling: Evie complains a lot. Evie never has time for her friends. Evie says she wants to quit cheer yet always shows up. Evie is always tired. Evie hates being on YouTube. I wonder how many of these comments speak the truth

I agree! 1-2 for sure. Even if a few of their videos do go viral, people won’t stick around on their channel because they’d get real tired of K’s BS real quick. Their sub count hasn’t changed for at least 2 years if I’m remembering correctly. I wonder what Kenny would do if any of the kids don’t want to be on youtube anymore

I also agree, no more than 2 years. I was watching a video from 2019 the other day and they mentioned having over a
million followers. Now they have 1.31 M so that means over 2 years, they’ve only gained 310,000; that’s not a lot when you’re a channel with over a million. Their views are very low and so is their engagement. They haven’t been getting more than ~300 comments on each video which is only 0.09% of their subscribers are commenting. Kendal is also scaring a lot of people away with her rude and condescending comments. If anyone asks a question, she gives them a hard time. She basically only replies kindly to comments praising high. They have some people who comment every single day supporting them yet Kendal never comments back. However if you leave a hate comment whether on a new or old video, she’s replying VERY quickly. She basically only replies to hate. These comments are showing people who she really is and people are unfollowing. Their followers are reaching an awakening to who these people really are. Their only saving grace will be the fact they have such a big catalog of videos so even if they stopped making videos altogether, they’d still be making a residual income off their videos.

They put out a christmas list video and one thing on Evie’s list was a new phone. They just got new phones like a month ago what?? And why not include Sebi and Hampton? I’m sure they have christmas lists too.

Kendal would most likely do this whole spiel about how people care more about the girls and their interests but all the boys want are legos so people wouldn’t watch, the viewers don’t care about the wish list of a 7 & 9 (10?) year old boys. It comes across as though they just don’t care about the boys.

I thought the same thing when EV brought up a phone. I’m wondering if it was more of a suggestion, not necessarily on her personal wishlist? The video is “Teen Gift Guide 2021! 30+ Christmas gift ideas” so I think it was more like reading a Buzzfeed gift guide rather than them sharing their own wishlists. So many of the gifts were expensive and unattainable to a lot of families. They really need to check their privilege, it’s making them less and less relatable.

Ahh that would make more sense. I didn’t actually read the title lmao.

Regarding the boys, I just hope they don’t feel left out. I’m sure Bones doesn’t really understand it all, but I think this could potentially hurt Sebi in the long run. He obviously doesn’t get as much attention. He’s stuck in a tough spot because for one, Kendal just absolutely adores the girls, and for two, he has a special needs brother who needs attention. He’s at an age where he needs that bonding from his parents or he’ll grow apart from them forever.

The video didn’t interest me in the slightest but I actually didn’t have a problem with it. It was a gift guide, not a list of what these girls would like for Christmas. But it didn’t really feature Kendal so that was good. Still no idea why they needed to show her order coffee or buy a fern from Home Depot.

Omg I haven’t finished the newest video yet but the fact that EV leaves cups and food in her bathroom to the point it’s growing mold is DISGUSTING. Daniel just laughed about it but that is beyond gross and not funny imo, they could end up with some sort of bug infestation or mice or something. I’m a bit of a cleanliness freak so maybe this bugs me more than most but I know they definitely won’t be laughing when they need to move out for a few days to get their house fumigated because their 17 year old is not responsible enough to bring her empty dishes to the kitchen and wash them… 🤷‍♀️. EV only has one more year of high school and lots of people move out at 17, I did, but I can’t imagine her taking care of herself & a house or apartment with how things are now when it comes to her cleaning and such.

There is no chance Evie will move out. Who will support her (financially). I don’t think the Family has anywhere close to enough money to run two households. Evie is totally incapable of fending for herself. She can’t drive, she doesn’t work, she’s poorly educated, she doesn’t want to GO to college (maybe online). It’ll be a long time before she can look after herself. Honestly I think 17/18 is too young to be leaving home UNLESS the child is going to stay in dorms with other kids. I cannot see any of my children leaving home before they’re 25 :-o

I was appalled and disgusted by EV’s filth. It’s one things to by messy and have clothes all over the floor (still not acceptable in my opinion) and it’s another thing to leave food around to rot. I’m sure there’s much more disgusting things in her room that Kenny and Daniel don’t know about. There’s messy and there’s dirty and EV is dirty. Why don’t they discipline her? Why is it that every time EV does anything that needs to be corrected, Daniel just laughs? It’s pretty clear these kids get to do whatever they want and neither parent tells them “no”. It’s also pretty clear neither parent actually parents the kids. Both Kenny and Daniel act like they are their kids friends and not in a position of authority- it’s so weird! I wonder if they are over compensating for the years of discipline they did do on EV- they feel bad so they let her do what she wants know. All I know is I would never let my kids room get to that point and if it did they’d be grounded.

I completely agree- EV is not moving out at 18 or even at 20. Which I personally think is fine. The whole “move out at 18” culture is weird. Most 18 year olds are not ready. BUT, I do think EV needs to have more real world experience before even considering moving out and I’m not sure she’ll ever get that by living with Kenny and Daniel. She’ll stay at home until she’s 21-22 and then probably move in with a friend. I’m sure Daniel and Kendal will still pay her bills for a very long time. I can’t see EV working or even wanting to work. She gives me gold digger vibes.

Also- have y’all noticed that Brin and Kap have both started to not wear their seatbelts in the car anymore? I’ve seen it now a few times on videos and Instagram. It’s so bizarre to me that again, neither Daniel or Kenny tell them to put their seatbelts on. They always talk about how crazy Florida drivers are yet they’re not doing one of the most simple things you can do protect yourself (seems like a trend in this family). These girls need real parents who will guide them appropriately in life. Not the two dumbos they have who think it’s better to be “cool” than to be a parent.

Obviously it’s stupid and irresponsible but isn’t it also illegally to have people unbuckled in the car? If they actually allow their kids to ride in the car without seatbelts then Kendal and Daniel clearly do not care very much about their children.

She definitely isn’t able to fend for herself at this point. I agree about the supporting two households; it’s very expensive. My parents did it for my sister while she was in university (or college for americans) and it wasn’t easy that’s for sure. I do agree that 17/18 is young to move out but it’s most definitely the “norm” where I live. Kids graduate high school at 17/18 and must go directly from high school to university or community college and a big portion of those kids leave home because of the location of the school. I did live in dorms though when I moved out and it was a really great experience; I had a lot of fun and it taught me a lot of independence and I grew up a lot. Maybe if Evie was given no choice but to care for herself, it may make her grow up since she would have no other choice. They are not setting up their children for success, especially Bones of course. Off topic but I really think they baby him unnecessarily and I don’t say that to discount his disability, I am disabled, but I say that because I think he’s capable of more, I think he understands and thinks at a much higher level than they give him credit for. I think because he doesn’t speak “regularly”, people assume that he doesn’t think “regularly” either but even if he may not be able to express certain things, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t get it.

Glad I’m not the only one who found that really gross! Remember when EV’s friends Caitlin and Gigi cleaned her room and found old bowls from chipotle or something and other food under her bed? It’s a wonder they don’t have a fruit fly or mouse infestation already. Daniel seems to be too afraid of what Ken would say if he were to discipline her favourite child which is why I suspect she gets away with everything. I think everyone walks on eggshells around her. This is not a laughing matter IMO but Daniel just giggles about it. Maybe parenting happens off camera? I think that is just wishful thinking lol. As a kid, we were expected to keep our rooms clean or we lost privileges like getting to go out with friends or whatever however we respected the freedom our parents gave us in exchange for us following their rules so it very rarely needed to be reinforced in our house because it was a very clear expectation. Maybe they are overcompensating for her childhood but it’s definitely not going to do her any favors in the long run. I wonder if any of the kids have stumbled on Ken’s blog and how she would explain it away if they confronted her about it…

I didn’t notice about the seatbelts! Thanks for pointing it out! I definitely saw it once I knew to look for it. They constantly show clips of accidents on the road and talk about how bad drivers are in SOUTH Florida (because it’s never just Florida, it has to be pointed out that it’s south) yet they don’t make their kids wear seatbelts… I think it normal for teens to challenge the rules on things but that’s why they have parents, to teach them right from wrong and to keep them safe with their still developing teenage brains. I’m not in touch with what the trends are these days but it could certainly be one. I would really hate to see one of the kids get hurt in a way that could’ve been prevented because of not wearing a seatbelt. The girls may not get along but Kap and Brin seem to look up to EV to an extent which could be why they’re doing it. The girls all want to be individuals and unique yet they tend to copy own a lot of the same clothes and stuff; it’s an interesting dynamic that’s for sure. However if Ken and Daniel would’ve corrected EV on it and made her wear it, this likely wouldn’t be happening. I know someone commented on it once and Ken’s reply was that EV wears her seatbelt and if you see her not wearing it, it’s because they are parked or pulled over to vlog but if you watch the videos, everyone can see her not wearing it in a moving vehicle… Their parents need to care more about their kids safety than being the “cool” parents.

Sorry for the double post but I didn’t want to make my last post even longer lol

So on today’s vlog about the cheer showcase, I wonder what the other parents watching thought of Kendal and how much she was whooping and hollering for the girls. It’s great she’s being supportive but it did come across a little attention seeking and as though she wanted people to look at her. Let the girls have the spotlight, it’s their showcase. Viewers are seeing this too. I feel as though EV was doing the same thing on the day Brin and Kap’s performed. She was with them constantly hanging out which isn’t the norm unless she’s at a comp; perhaps she’s jealous that her sisters are performing and not her or she just wants the spotlight on her. Who knows. I wish for them that they had that friendship and got along like that in real life too. I also wonder if they got permission from the parents of other cheerleaders to show their kids in the vlog? I could see that really pissing off some parents but it seems as though FC likes having a family vlogger with 1.3 M subscribers giving them free advertising. It was nice in this vlog though to see Brin & Kap smiling more than they have been!! I need to rewatch but we’re the boys even in this video at all? I don’t remember seeing them.

There is absolutely no doubt about it. In the most recent video (featuring Kendal whooping) Evie was not wearing a seatbelt in the car while they were driving. How stupid is this family.

Also, according to her IG stories, Kendal definitely reads here. She was joking about divorce and how the haters on these threads can get all worked up about how Daniel is unhappy. So, hi Kendal. Thanks for giving us so much to be happy for (happy that we don’t live your pathetic life)

Seems like Evie’s team didn’t do as well as the other two. You could tell coming off the floor all the girls didn’t seem as hyped, and Kendal didn’t say a WORD about how good they did, whereas she was raving about Brin and Kap’s teams.

I thought the exact same thing! She went on and on about how good Brin and Kap’s teams looked but nothing about Evie. Evie didn’t even say a word and didn’t seem excited at all after the performance. You know something didn’t go as planned if Kendal stays completely silent about it.

I didn’t even notice that Evie had performed. We saw her in the car and we saw her coming home in the car but I don’t remember them even commenting on Evie’s team. I guess that’s your point. Silence speaks louder than words.

This is so interesting! I wonder what happened? EV didn’t seem to be very happy on the drive home from her showcase, there was no clip with Kendal and/or Daniel talking to her about her performance, they weren’t shown cheering in the audience; a lot of difference between the first and second day of showcase! Maybe there was a lot of mistakes in the routine so they were all disappointed? I agree, it seemed as though *something* happened. Odd…

Offtopic: I decided to look up their channel on social blade (for those who don’t know, it’s a very interesting website that shares the stats of YouTube channels and is supposed to be fairly accurate). If you look at their yearly earnings, the range they give us 9.7k-155.3k per year. This is quite a broad range; social blade calculates it using the most common lowest and highest CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) of $0.25-$4. So let’s say they make right in the middle of that range, they would make $82,500. That’s pretty good for a job that doesn’t require an education or anything but that’s quite low in the YouTube world especially their high cost of living and I imagine big mortgage payments too. I live in a small city where cost of living is low so $82.5k is quite good here but I don’t imagine that goes very far living in *South* Florida. We do have to keep in mind this doesn’t taken into consideration sponsored videos/posts so they would get more from that however they rarely have sponsored videos so I don’t think it would add a huge amount to their income. Maybe they were actually being honest about not being rich 🤷‍♀️.

(Sorry I know this is random, just thought y’all might be interested in these findings!)
