Choosing to publish in media or newspaper is an announcement, hours after the service I did click on the link and the recording is there. The audio isn't great so I did skip around but very calm, very wholesome, the kids singing is the best part.

What a touching ceremony. How hard it must have been for each of them to stand and give tribute to their dad/husband/grandfather.whydowewatchthis wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 6:43 pm Choosing to publish in media or newspaper is an announcement, hours after the service I did click on the link and the recording is there. I know I will be emotional tomorrow when they share the video about why they’ve been gone.gram3 wrote:What a touching ceremony. It is so odd to think though that all their family is on social media in such a big way that’s it’s like we know them.

I still feel a hint of clickbait dragging it out from all parties...
This is a debate on TikTok as well right now... people make a sad video like "oh I got a text saying come home right away" and then it's them crying and they leave nothing else so that a bunch of people will follow them hoping for more
1 side says let's normalize people not being ready to talk about things
the other side says don't talk about things unless you're ready to explain
I feel like the binghams are ready when they made the video before he went to see Madi, I feel like they're just stirring the pot a little longer. No one required a video... a simple RIP post and then a week from vlogging would easily suffice and then pick up the camera as their new normal- we don't need the details but I think they're dragging it out...
They're like the people that post "In the Emergency room" on facebook and then say nothing for six hours and then reply to everyone it was a migraine/flu/cold

Have to say, I've also considered the clickbait issue. Most of the family is so enmeshed in social media that I think their clickbait mindset would permeate in all situations..even related to a death.whydowewatchthis wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 8:37 pm I still feel a hint of clickbait dragging it out from all parties...

Exactly. It’s both. They aren’t ready but instead of going MIA it’s “we’ll tel you later”. That’s why I didn’t even believe it was anything significant until someone found Doug’s obituary. I was banking on some distant great aunt they never visit/vlog with (and trust me we would know who they visit often).gram3 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:27 pmHave to say, I've also considered the clickbait issue. The tone of the next vlogs will tell
Sentiment:
In loving memory
We will cherish the memories
Losing our Papa
Clickbate
OUR LAST MOMENTS- 5 year old’s last time seeing grandpa
We never thought it would end this way…
Unexpected Tuesday
STILL IN SHOCK
A DAY WE WONT FORGET
THIS IS WHY WE VLOG
WHY WE HAVENT VLOGGED
CANT BELIEVE IT HAPPENED
IT HAPPENED UNEXPECTEDLY

I’m not surprised branden has videos out first, makes sense. The madi leaving was an easy Segway back in to vlogging.
But yeah it’ll be clickbait for sure, regardless

I'm putting my SNARK on hold for now, I'm sure this is devastating. It's a huge family, so I'm sure they don't want to really post until they get the all clear from other family members. Plus Dan and Chelle were over in Iceland, they probably flew back. In the case of a family member passing, even though he was on YouTube. he was nothing but nice. We can go back to our regularly scheduled programming next week, there will always be fodder for the machine.

Maybe they were waiting to share the news until after the service so youtube fans didn’t try to show up.

The service location, address, times, burial location and time, and zoom link were completely public for a week.JustMoi2004 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 8:36 am Maybe they were waiting to share the news until after the service so youtube fans didn’t try to show up.

I do have to say, Bingham genes run strong. You can see all the grand kids in them

It’s actually a very common thing to do within the Mormon religion. I’ve been to several Mormon funerals where this was done. I left the Mormon church 27 years ago when I was 21. I’ve also been to Jewish funerals where they’ve done the same.nahthxx wrote:Not the picture with the casket…good lord

I never realized how much they all actually look alike, but that video from Dan and chelle they all looked like Brexen, Landon, Ashton and Ryler at some point in their life’s, it’s actually freaky

Right! It’s crazy.bm155 wrote:I never realized how much they all actually look alike, but that video from Dan and chelle they all looked like Brexen, Landon, Ashton and Ryler at some point in their life’s, it’s actually freaky
Krew is definitely mindy’s side of the family, he looks like her dad.
Hazyl and Ava are interesting. They don’t really look like Michelle. But neither look like their mom either.
Hazyl looks a lot like madi though, must be branden with long hair ha

I’ve loved seeing all the old family pictures though. Super cute, and it humanizes them a bit.
