What’s the LOL for Kendal? You don’t believe anyone could be better than your favorite daughter Evie?

I do think Kapri has potential to make a higher level. She’s young and seems less precious than the older two girls. However, as soon as Kapri makes it to J4, leaving Evie behind on a level 3 team, there will be excuses made about Evie’s ‘injuries’ and why she needs to quit cheer.

Why did Florida mom go?

She said that it was fun in the beginning, but then it took a turn. There a couple of (or one in the same) ppl on here that are, shall we say, strange and I think she just didn't want to be associated with that. I get it. I left too for a minute., but then I saw the thread dying down and didn't like that. So, I chose to ignore the "bad apples" (not take their obscure thoughts personally) and keep contributing to this thread along with the good ones. I do miss her inside scoops; she actually knew their neighbors and cheer moms from Cougars. I have received messages from some who claim to be from North Carolina & Flip, but who knows if they're authentic? If any one of them can prove they are who they say they are, I'll definitely share!

Oh that would be interesting. How can you vet them though?

I also raised an eyebrow with this one. I do think Kap has potential to be good, but probably not J6. EV will age out soon enough but I can see her becoming a coach or an assistant at the gym- since you know, she can never be too far away from her family.

On Brin- we’ve seen her tumble. I’m sure the coaches just said she was the most beautiful tumbler they’ve ever seen to help her get out of her mental block. She’s not that good.

For the love of all that is holy, I am going to lose my marbles if I have to watch them bring their untrained barking and yelping dog into a store one more time. When there’s a dog going crazy in a store, it could seriously lead to someone dying if their service dog misses something like a seizure alert and the handler injuring themselves. I’m a dog trainer and service dogs handler and yes, we throughly train our dogs to ignore distractions but dogs are NOT robots!! As well trained as a dog can be, they have bad days too where their focus is perhaps not as good as usual. The worse distraction is another dog going nuts exactly as clover does. Not to mention the fact they don’t keep her under control and let her run up to strangers. Again, if they let her run up to a service dog, especially in the case of a guide dog for the blind, it can distract the dog (who wouldn’t be distracted by a whining barking dog running at them?) but guide dog handlers can’t see what is happening and it could be seriously dangerous.

AND THEN they say they want to get a service dog vest with in training on it so they can get away with bringing her places. First of all, under the Americans with disabilities act, misrepresenting and interfering with a working dog is a illegal. In Florida, misrepresenting a dog as a service dog is a second degree misdemeanor with penalties of up to $500 fine and 60 days in jail. Second of all, the ADA protects the right of service dogs in training to enter into public places dogs are not allowed but this protection is only in place of the dog is not a nuisance; if your dog is barking and whining, is uncontrollable on a leash, peeing or pooping inside places, your dog is NOT protected by the ADA and they are allowed to be kicked out. Service dogs (and those in training) are only protected as long as it’s a “reasonable” accommodation and having a dog going nuts in a store is not a reasonable accommodation. SDIT should not be brought into public anyways until they can walk nicely in a heel beside their handler, not approach strangers, not sniffing the floor/shelves, are quiet (a bark or two is fine with a dog in training), are not going to the bathroom inside, etc. You don’t just slap a vest on a dog and say it’s in training and expect for it to be okay to bring it in public. Even if the store is dog friendly, putting a vest on the dog to pretend it’s a SDIT is still a crime regardless. It doesn’t matter how trained a dog is, if the handler is not disabled, it is NOT a service dog (unless being handled by a trainer) and is not protected by the ADA. I’m honestly shocked they haven’t been asked to leave yet at this point.

Sorry for the long rant but I know how imperative it is for the safety of service dog handlers to not have dogs going wild in a store. Yes, service dogs are extremely well trained and focused but no, they’re not robots and can make mistakes! I know the Riches read here so I’m begging you not to do buy a in training vest for Clover. There’s a big enough fake SD problem already, we don’t need you promoting to your 1.3 million subscribers that it’s okay to do this, it is NOT okay!

Offtopic: This is really random but they have the weirdest nicknames. Most nicknames are words but theirs are just a collection of random sounds like (excuse the spelling, this is hard lol) tata-bay-knee for Clover, pon-chang(or -jay?) for Hampton, pie-sa for one of the cats. Then the ones that are real words are things like Bones or calling the girls “beast”. They just strike me as odd nicknames

They got a bit of heat in the comments on YT about Clover being made look like a service dog. Instead of Kendal politely saying, don’t worry, we won’t, we were just joking’, she responds in her usual ways by being a bitch and telling people to ‘go get a drink, or calm down’.

It’s so exciting for Evie to be going to NY. And I am gobsmacked that Kendal isn’t going. I bet it’s because she would have to get tested or it’s too expensive. What are the rules on internal flights in the US? Are tests required for adults? I hear NYC is very strict on mask wearing and vaccinations. In this country we cannot eat in a restaurant or attend a public event without have a certificate proving we are vaccinated, recovered or tested. I believe it’s the same in NYC.

The part about Evie needing WIFI on the flight is pathetic. Has she never been out of contact with her mother for more than 3 hours? It cannot be normal that a 17 year old has never flown before. Or is that normal in the US? I can only make comparisons with my family and my teens could be on multiple flights each year. This year alone they’ve flown 6 times (3x return).

Yes I saw the comments about Clover after I ranted here.. oups lol. You’d think that being the parent of a child with a disability would make her more sympathetic to the plight of service dog handlers but it clearly hasn’t. I’m interested to see what happens because one of the channels fans who comments on every single video praising Kendal/the family in all her comments actually spoke up about the service dog issue (very nicely I will add). If I don’t see her comments anymore, I will assume she was blocked which shows how quick they are to turn on their fans. Even if they leave 100 comments and 99 of them are solely positive and 1 comment is trying to educate her, it’s like it erases all the nice comments and then they get blocked. No wonder their views are so low when they’ve been alienating their fans for so long.

I’m excited for EV to have this opportunity. I’m also beyond shocked they are letting her go on her own. It was less than a year ago that Kendal didn’t want to let EV go to the mall with a friend but they’re letting her fly across the country by herself. I suspect it’s a financial thing as well. If they could afford it, I’m sure the whole family would be going. I’m not American so I could be wrong but I believe that if you’re not vaccinated, you have to wear a mask in public including on a plane. Your assumptions about NYC masks mandates are correct!

I’m hoping that this tiny taste of freedom will show EV everything she is missing and make her crave more and more freedom. This would be the best case scenario; that it would teach her to spread her wings and want to explore the world and meet people and do fun things, not just splitting her time between home and the mall and Disney. There’s so much more to the world than that as you’ve mentioned many times on here in the past.

I was 13 when I flew from Canada to the US and back on my own which as you would know is more complicated then flying domestic as you have to go through customs and claim things you’re bringing back. My family really prioritized travel though and we traveled almost every year in my teenage years especially. She definitely doesn’t need WiFi for a 3 hour flight. Back when I flew alone, wifi on planes wasn’t a thing and I survived. It’s easy to download some movies from Netflix or some YouTube videos to watch on the flight or maybe even crack open a book! I think it feels good to be disconnected from the world for awhile!

That’s so funny you said how good it feels to be disconnected for a while. I actually am considering ditching my phone. Just so I can have some peace and quiet during the day. I mean, we survived without phones until the mid 1990s. Why can’t we survive today?!! I’m also not American so don’t understand all the norms but as a person living on mainland Europe I understand that travel is sooooo normal!!! I’ve a few trips I must do before I die: see the northern lights, go on the orient express, visit Singapore and Australia, a Mediterranean cruise (I’ve been on a few Caribbean cruises), see the sights of all the Stieg Larsson books in Sweden and stay in a village on a Norwegian Fjord

I live in America! so to answer some questions:

As of right now I’m pretty sure NY is still requiring vaccination for indoor activities for everyone 12 and over. (which is why if you watch close in the video, Evie and K are joking that she won’t be able to go out anywhere)

I flew to SC in September and did not have to get tested or show my vaccine card to fly. I’m pretty sure it hasn’t changed since then, so she shouldn’t have to get tested. And yes you have to wear a mask on the plane!


I wonder if K is actually not allowed to go. She said the trip was more set up just for Evie to go on her own. Maybe the company does this on purpose. K could be trying to hide the fact that she simply can’t afford it. Plus it’s only a 24 hour stay, which sucks because E will only get a tiny glimpse of the city and only 24 hours away from her family.

OMG I think I would die of embarrassment . I would feel very awkward if my mom was posting photos and tagging my boyfriend after stalking us on a “date”. How do they get to know each other if Kendal is always around? Both Cameron and EV would surely have a different dynamic with Kendal there than if they were just the two of them.

I think it’s on purpose too! A lot of cheer gyms, including EV’s old gym Fire, parents weren’t allowed to watch. This is because the more the parents get involved, the more drama there is and coaches don’t want that. It affects their athletes mindsets when parents are fighting and gossiping and tearing each other’s kids. We all know what happens when a bunch of dance moms (or cheer moms) are together. No parents leads to significantly less drama! EV being on the photo shoot on her own lets her be free to be herself if only for 24 hours, it’s better than nothing.

KD need to listen to the song “Wide Open Spaces” by the Dixie Chicks. This is exactly what EV needs, some wide open spaces and room to make mistakes and grow from them rather than her sheltered life she has now. I never expected to be giving advice using a Dixie Chicks song but whatever works LOL. Some lyrics to follow…

Kendall does all of this because she peaked in high school and misses her glory days. Now she tries to live vicariously through her kids because that’s all she has. She literally thinks she’s a young adult. Honestly that woman is emotionally stunted and it shows.

She also trolls her viewers because she knows they’re going to ask questions about EV and Cameron and she eats all of that up.

For now EV is still under her spell but I know that as soon as she gets a taste of freedom and what it’s like not to be around your family 24/7, she’ll start to pull away.

As for Cameron, I’m sure in a few months he’ll realize how crazy Kendal is and what kind of person EV truly is and will break up with her. EV is a love sick puppy and is in the “I’m going to be as cute as I can” phase of their relationship but soon enough that act will drop and he’ll see the real monster she is.

Quick side note on Danny boy- he’s definitely somebody who was never disciplined or told no in his whole life and that’s why he lets his kids break all the rules like taking clover into stores despite not being a service animal. For Daniel, rules don’t apply and nobody can tell him what to do. He’s as big of a brat as Kenny is.

I can’t blame her friends for getting out of that situation. If I was a teenager and at the mall with a friend and their parents followed us around, I’d be super uncomfortable. She even let Kapri and her friends go to the mall and she was like 11 ish. EV is old enough that she could be in college right now living on her own where she would be making every decision for herself and Kendal would have no control. If you’re at that age, you deserve to have a lot of freedoms as you’ll soon be an adult who can do whatever they want whether their parents like it or not. Give the girl some space!!!!

I liked the most recent video. Towards the end I think you got to see what the family dynamic is like when they are not filming... even though they were filming, if that makes sense. It was more a moment where they happened to have the phone recording while hanging out instead of going to the mall for the purpose of a video shoot. Evie has a beautiful smile and seemed really happy. You rarely see that side of her in their vlogs.

I watched it last night so they took it down pretty quick! I’ll be curious to see if they re-edit and post or just forget about that video altogether. I don’t remember the video very well (hence why I usually rewatch at least once because my brain is a pile of mush). Maybe they were getting comments about the girls being bratty? Integrity would be a great gift for Santa to leave them!

Kendal can’t even get the name, not to mention the concept, right. How can a cheer competition be called ‘nationals’ if it’s a South Florida competition?

Anyway, I found the real name of the competition. I hope for Kapri’s sake it goes well because I wouldn’t like to be in the Rich household if these girls don’t start bring home medals.
