Ok so watched the second part of the cheer video. How is a team national champion when only three Florida teams competed? What about all the other D1 J2 teams in the country?
Why is Daniel whooping and screaming when he’s clearly not watching the performance? He’s swinging the camera between coach and wife. He’s never focused on anything but the audience so how can he possibly know what’s going on on the competition floor?

I felt SO bad for Kap in that moment. They’ve been doing that a lot lately, like saying things to the kids or the camera about how viewers see them/question viewers have. Like in a video a few days ago, they said to EV that everyone hates her. Later when brin asked to go to lululemon and was upset because Kendal didn’t want to bring her, Ken said something about how if it wasn’t Brin, people would say she’s being a brat but people like Brin so they won’t. It just comes off so weird when they say this stuff… like telling EV everyone hates her, that’s great for the self esteem /s.

To Glass Half Full, there’s a ton of competitions that they call nationals for some odd reason. I don’t get it at all. It’s basically just the name of the competition but it’s not a true nationals. The true national competitions for American cheer as far as I know is NCA in Dallas which is a huge competition with all the big teams and gyms and people travel from all over the states for it. The other two are UCA (which is less popular) and the USASF Worlds (for senior levels 6/7) and Summit (for everyone else). Worlds/Summit, UCA, and NCA and the 3 real nationals. A lot of teams seem to use UCA as a warm up for Worlds since it’s a few weeks before Worlds. Worlds should be called nationals because there’s very few teams from other countries and they’re in different divisions than most teams. If a team wins all 3 of those, they call it the triple crown. NCA & UCA you get jackets and Worlds/Summit you get rings. Anyone can compete at NCA but Worlds/Summit you need to win a bid. So yeah, the gist is that, this past weekends competition is a Nationals in name only (which is not to take away from Brin’s win, I’m very happy for her! Just explaining how things work)

Just wanted to screenshot Kendal's comment & put a face to the person she bashed.

Ashlyn Beard (who's been on worlds teams and D1 College teams) has always showed her routines. She was genuinely asking why Kendal doesn't. She even said, "not being rude, just truly curious". Kendal got so mad!! Madalyn Hester chimed in and called out Kendal's immaturity. ...priceless.

I think they know their mother is a nutcase. By the looks (and the hug) Evie gives Kendal at the end of my video, I think they're just tired of the crazy & I think Evie's glad to have Cameron to vent to; I hope the other girls have outlets now too (friends, coaches).

This is a great video. Somehow in watching the video I initially missed the screenshots of the comments. Watching your video a second time I saw them and all I can say is WOW.Kendal Really is an awful person. What a rude and unnecessarily nasty response to anyone. Doesn’t matter if the person can’t put one foot in front of another or is an Olympic medalist. Does she realise her kid is only level 2. And will likely never reach level 6. I still think it’s great that the girls do sport but they are still at a very low level. And Kendal is running away with herself. Her narcissism will cause nothing but misery for those girls. Also, the way they were going on about Evie landing her tucked somersault must mean that Evie doesn’t alway land.

I think EV really is a nasty person. In the vlog today they were talking about how EV has never been happy after a competition and how she used to just leave the as soon as they walked off the floor and not talk to anyone. Sounds like she’s very bitter and has poor sportsmanship. Can you imagine a teammate stomping away every time something doesn’t go their way? EV is a horrible team player and by the sounds of it Kenny and Daniel did nothing to correct her behavior.

Kendal who so badly wants to be part of the cheer world because her entire identity is being a “cheer mom” sure isn’t doing herself any favors by going off on cheerleaders in the comments. The cheer world is small and I’m sure people will stay as far away from her and her family as possible.

I really think EV’s poor sportsmanship is part of what went down between the Riches and Fire. I don’t know what happened but I’m sure EV’s attitude/work ethic was part of the discussion because of comments they’ve made in prior vlogs when talking about them leaving Fire. When you’re on a team, you win together and you lose together. It’s nobodies fault, everyone contributes to the win or loss. EV would get so mad when someone made a mistake. I’m sure she made her own mistakes, shit happens, but they sure as hell wouldn’t tell the viewers that. I think EV is a lot like her mom and I think Ken would react similarly had she been in EV’s place. I hope there’s a sweet kind person under there and I hope it comes out someday but, from how we see her treating her “fans” on tiktok, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I want more for her, I want her to be truly happy; it’s like Ken always says, people who are mean and say mean things are just unhappy people. Maybe they both need to work on their happiness…

You hit the nail on the head; there’s not really one governing body hence why all these competitions can do as they please. Like NCA in Dallas is held by National Cheerleaders Association where Worlds/Summit is US All-Star Federation and UCA is Universal Cheerleaders Association, all slightly different with slightly different rules and scoring.

It’s really sad that it takes Brin winning a big comp for her to get the recognition and attention she deserves. Imagine how she must feel. I would feel like I was worthless unless I’m winning which would put an ungodly amount of pressure and stress on her shoulders before each competition. In the messy teenage brain, she may associate receiving love with winning and feel unworthy of she’s not winning which is sad. She’s worthy of being loved and appreciated exactly as she is, win or lose. I wish these girls would get the unconditional love they deserve.

Also why does Daniel even bother filming during the performance because all he can film is Kendal yelling and the coach jumping? Since he can’t film the routine, put down the camera and just enjoy watching your kids perform!

I hate to be this person but where’s Bones? He wasn’t in any of the cheer videos. We saw Sebi at Kap’s but that’s it. Maybe it’s not all about the money… maybe they like having Daniel’s parents living with them for the built in babysitting so they can dump the boys with them and Kendal can have her all girl time. I may be way out in left field with this one but it definitely feels like sometimes Ken regrets having more kids and wishes it was just her and the 3 girls.

I have no clue why Daniel films. When we go to watch our girls at competitions we keep our phones in the bags. Partly superstition…if we film or photograph it goes wrong and partly because we want to watch the performance through our eyes and not through a lens. Often someone else will film and we’ll get the videos afterwards and with our eldest there are always professional sports photographers only too happy to take the most amazing ‘capture the moment’photographs allowing us to just watch.
No doubt whatsoever that Daniel’s parents are babysitters. I don’t imagine Hampton even is asked if he wants to come to the competition or stay home. I bet he’s just left at home with the grandparents.

Kendal‘s desire to be a Cheer Mom with a cheer hangover far exceeds the girls‘ desires to be cheerleaders. It’s as though Kendal needs to have a focus because she missed out on that experience in her youth. I think her childhood must have been very controlled. How she acts as an adult in charge of teenage girls seems to me she wants to create the youth years that she didn’t have and live them through her daughters.

Sooo many thoughts here:

First- they haven’t even bought the house yet, so why are they acting like it’s theirs?? There’s a lot that needs to happen before you can finalize a huge purchase like that and by the sounds of it they just started talking to a realtor. DUMB.

Second- why did they tell the kids they bought a house and acted like it’s going to be their second home? They will never live there- at best they’ll spend 2 weeks there once a year. They got the kids all riled up for no reason. DUMB and RUDE.

Third- it takes a loooong time to start earning money on investment properties so good luck to them. Kenny and Daniel are not the smartest bunch so I have a feeling they think it’s going to be easy money in their pockets. It’s not. DUMB

Fourth- Let’s not forget Daniel got swindled out of thousands of dollars because he got tricked by the most basic telemarketing scam. He’s an idiot with a very rudimentary understanding of how the world works and Kendal is equally as stupid so there’s no way they can manage this on their own. Daniel’s parents are 100% financing this endeavor and I have to believe it’s because the YouTube money is non existent. In order to by a house you have to show consistent income or have the cash (they don’t). Not hard to see what’s happening here.

Obviously I don’t have any insider knowledge on how they have this deal set up but I suspect it’s being bankrolled by his parents. What they get out of the deal, I really don’t know. I don’t know how much a house like that would cost in their state but I feel as though they’re most likely extremely wealthy.

I too only remember them going to margaritaville once. In today’s video, all the clips were from the same trip. As you mentioned Glass, I think they’re hoping that their “clout” will lead to it being a successful rental property, that their fans will go just for the chance to stay in THE Riches rental home. Unfortunately, based on their views and comments, I don’t think very many of their subscribers even watch their videos then subtract all the fans who don’t live in Florida/can’t travel there, that doesn’t leave very many fans that are in a situation where they could rent it.

Offtopic: That Harry Potter themed house they stayed at was actually super cool in my opinion! The owners of that property clearly put a lot of thought and work into the themeing. They executed the designs of the rooms brilliantly! 10/10 would definitely stay there

I have never seen that video before.I didn’t watch it intently because it didn’t really interest me but I did make a few observations:

Beautiful house but I don’t know where it is in SC so it’s very difficult to assess what it’s worth and figure out if they’ve already sold it or if they’ve rented it out. What is Daniel’s father’s name? The mother is obviously Abuela (Abi) but don’t know what the father is called.

Kendal is obviously very much still into her appearance back then but is far less animated and over enthusiastic about the banal. I felt less stressed out watching her.

The kids are dressed like kids and no one comments on their appearance. In this video Evie must be 12 years old. Compare her appearance then to how Kapri is today at the same age. Kapri is dolled up, wears make up and acts 5 years older than she is. Evie was a normal 12year old in that video.

They sold it for $575,000 in 2019. Not nearly as expensive as it looks! Seems to be a cheaper area. Who knows what they bought it for, though. Maybe 450? A house of that level and size at that price is pretty low.

However, Daniel’s parents still definitely have a good amount of money and are probably much more financially stable than K & D. Clearly they’ve completely moved into their house, and I’m sure it’s because Kendal is struggling to pay for it with YouTube. Their views are horrible— there’s no way getting 50k (average) views a video a few times a week can pay for a lifestyle of 7 with a 700k house. Y’all are spot on with the grandparents paying. Anyone notice Daniel’s mom unloading the dishwasher and cooking dinner in a recent video? I’m sure K & D LOVE it—bills paid and chores done. What moochers. I’ve been wondering how they’re going to pay for a second home, which after searching margaritaville is a MINIMUM of a 550k mortgage, and that’s for a 2 bedroom. They might be making a really bad decision. I don’t think they’ll be able to afford it if there’s a period without renters, and Kendal is counting on that rental income. If shes counting on others to pay the monthly every month, she’s going to fall flat on her face. Rentals (especially newer ones) have quiet periods. It’s not just list the house and suddenly have tons of people booking it up. Also, the small amount of views they have on YT are mainly kids and teens so I don’t see how that’ll help them any.

Wow, didn’t realise that house in SC was so cheap. Maybe we will move there . I can tell from personal experience of owning a vacation rental in Orlando that there are definitely quiet periods. Our saving grace was that our house was reasonably inexpensive to buy and to rent and we often got the snowbirds over winter who rented it for 3 months at a time. And while our house was in a gated community it was not in a resort and therefore the HOA fees were nothing like others we had seen in resort type locations. Those resorts with loads of kid activities and multiple restaurants and spas were so expensive in monthly fees. If the house wasn’t occupied we were not too badly effected as the monthly fees to the HOA were manageable. Since Covid, the property market in Florida is booming. Many people are moving there to work from home. Why work from a cold city when you could move to Florida and play golf on your lunch break. As a result we sold our vacation home for a profit. The Riches are buying at the worst possible time and in a resort location. I hope they’ve actually studied the numbers and are not getting caught up in the excitement of a flashy idea.

I remembered that K & D were trying to get COVID relief money from the Gov and went to see how that turned out. Anyone who received a PPP Loan is public information, and turns out the Riches got just over $20,000 from the GOVERNMENT. The Covid relief was meant for struggling small businesses closed because of their virus. Not YouTube channels not able to buy Gucci and LV anymore because views are down What scammers. I can’t believe they blame COVID for not having any money. If anything, their channel should’ve done BETTER during lockdown since everyone was bored and at home. Their views going down had nothing to do with others or the virus. It’s the BORING content and the subscribers losing interest. Kendal will blame anyone or anything but herself. Scamming tax money as a YouTuber acting like your businesses was affected by covid— TRASH. Kendal acts like she’s all that but in reality she’s just trashy. Also, I just know she acts like she’s against gov handouts, based on her politics, but she’s first in line to get her handouts from the gov. Hypocrite. Also, what idiot FORGAVE the loan?! They don’t even have to pay it back. Pocketed 20k for doing absolutely nothing.
