That wouldn’t surprise me either. Every time they stay in a rental for vacation, they title the vlogs “our new vacation home!!!!” or something of the like. Same for rental cars like the jeep and Tesla. Sometimes they explain right away thy the title isn’t true but sometimes they pretend for way too long, especially with the cars, then get SO mad when viewers ask “what happened to EV’s jeep?” as if they expect every viewer to watch every single video so they can catch one 10 second sentence in a 20 min vlog several weeks AFTER the clickbait video. So much of what they do are “tricks”, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a trick in some way too.

Thank you to whoever found that they took a PPP loan. I always had a mini amount of respect for them when I thought that they did not take this loan. I don’t really understand the statement of the loan though. Does it mean it was approved on April 1st 2021 and then in September they were pardoned from paying it back? As in, it was a write off?

I must go back and check out what they did post April this year. Were there many lavish shopping trips?

I remember them saying they were having trouble getting loan approval to buy the cookie cutter home that they are currently living in and that was at a time when they were doing well from YouTube. Again, not American, but from what I understand of PPP loans, what you said about it being approved and then pardoned in September sounds right. I spoke to my accountant family member about it and, with each PPP loan, there’s certain criteria they need to meet to have it pardoned, for example: using the loan to pay salaries in order to not lay off anyone. It’s quite possible that Kendal and maybe even EV could be listed as employees of their LLC so just moving around the 20k in their bank accounts would get it pardoned because they “paid their employees”. The only thing here I respect is that they only got 1 loan where some family channels got many. However, it’s doesn’t mean they didn’t try to get more loans, they could’ve applied and been rejected so .

As you mentioned Glass, if they had trouble getting approved for a mortgage for their current house when their YouTube channel was much more prosperous, there’s no way they’ll get a loan now unless the loan isn’t coming from a bank and is instead coming from a family member… I personally can’t imagine how they could be doing this without Daniel’s parents.

You guys are right. Huge possibility Daniels parents are purchasing the margaritaville home in full and Kendal is just pretending for YouTube since she’s got zero content ideas.
Kendal was complaining on Instagram stories yesterday about how if she filmed a happy baking vlog no one would watch. Yeah, because that’s BORING. Watching another family bake isn’t entertaining at all. She went on to complain that she’s not one of those vloggers that can post whatever and get views. Cry me a river! So sorry you have to actually put effort into your videos to get the $$, and can’t just pick up the camera and film random crap.
To clarify on the PPP Loan, they got approved to receive it last April, and it got forgave last September. I’m not sure when they actually received the money! April didn’t have lavish purchases, but that’s probably because then it was still an actual loan, (as in they have to actually pay it back.) once it got forgiven in late September though, guess what? I was watching the YouTube channel for a cheerleading team I’m a fan of and it confirmed what the commenters in Xulie’s latest video said about the top teams sharing their routine. I know we’ve moved on from this topic but I just wanted to let y’all know you were right about it being odd that they hide their routine.

If you’ve never seen high level cheer before, take the time to watch the video I attached!

This channel I was watching belongs to the gym; they have a “videographer” who makes episodes about tryouts, following the different teams during their practice, filming competitions, etc. And on this channel, they have the full routines of many of their teams on there and some haven’t even competed yet.

The main “famous” team from gym I’m talking about is one of the top in the country, placing 2nd at worlds last year, and having many worlds placements under their belt. So yes, as the commenters from Xulie’s video states, many of the best of the best openly share their routine all season.

Anywho, I thought I’d attach the video just to give you an idea of what it takes to be on a worlds team. This team, Senior Elite, is a large all girl L6 and the stuff they do is pretty amazing. EV won’t get there with a year left but maybe Brin and Kap will if they work hard for it.

Side note - The Riches really missed out on giving the girls a really good foundation in cheer. This gym is in NC and about ~2 hours from where they lived BUT they have another location in Raleigh which is like 30 minutes from where they lived. The Raleigh gym is equally well regarded with many of their own worlds teams, one who won worlds this year! I’m sure they’d have much better tumbling technique and many more skills has they started there instead of Diamonds or whatever their team was.

The weird thing is if I didn’t switch to my dream gym for a chance to cheer on my dream team I would be at the same gym as the riches.

She is always making multiple videos every time they are sick and putting it all over the internet for everyone to see. Kendal, your fans are worried about them when they are ill, if you post it all over the internet of course people are going to ask about it. Nobody is “obsessed” with medical information. Nobody would actually care to ask you those type of questions, the only reason people are curious is because you’re the one letting people know they’re sick. Maybe… just maybe… people wouldn’t ask those questions if you just didn’t post a video every time your kids have a runny nose, ever thought about that? No, you put yourself in these situations and then act like you are a victim.

Great catch Bass. That’s actually hilarious. Is this story new/recent? If so, that makes it even worse considering the newest video is “she hasn’t slept in 4 days!” (which I’m sure is a lie or exaggeration, EV would be in much worse shape if she actually hadn’t slept that long; she probably hasn’t slept *well* in 4 days) and then “so sick I can’t get her out of bed!”; two sickness vlogs in one week. Ken shares every little detail when her kids are sick, why wouldn’t people ask about their kids health? If it was a topic that was she didn’t want people asking about, they shouldn’t exploit their kids’ illnesses in the first place. I’d love to count and see how many illness related vlogs were posted in the last year.

And this is why (in my opinion) that they get less than 300 (ish) comments per video despite having 1.3 million subscribers. She wants people to ask, but only ask in the right way. She thanks people in videos for caring about her family being sick, but then gets angry with people who ask questions because they care. She asks why we suddenly care about people’s personal medical information, but she has made probably 100s of videos oc the past 5 years sharing her family’s personal medical info: from getting braces to their first period to having migraines or the flu to injuries to cancer scares to allergies and so on and so forth. From my view, these inconsistencies are alienating their subscribers because they don’t know how or what is safe to comment, especially after seeing other people attacked for a seemingly innocent comment.

Aloha you’re spot on. Kendal is just rude. Then further down in those ‘ask me anything’ she said that the hardest thing about being a YouTuber is coming up with content because (sob sob) they’re not the type of family that can put out absolutely anything and receive loads of views. Does she not understand that people don’t watch because she has pissed off so many people. She is rude, sarcastic and a bully. Way back when comments were banned on YouTube the only place people could interact with her was on Instagram or Tiktok and if, god forbid, a viewer questioned or criticized, they were blocked. Maybe these subscribers didn’t unsubscribe from YT but for sure they chose not to watch. I am blocked from tiktok, IG and from commenting on YT. Yes I do still watch the videos but that’s because of this tiny community. The vast majority of past viewers and subscribers have just moved on. They didn’t necessarily stop watching because the content was boring (which is it), but most likely because Kendal has lambasted them on another platform. She has dug her own grave and now she needs to go lie in it.
