I am sure that was the compromise that Alex had to make for Philip to be ok with having another kid. Because he clearly doesn’t want another child. So she let him have a dog

I sincerely hope they have some knowledge of owning a dog. Goldies do make wonderful pets, my oldest son had one, and she was amazing. Perhaps they might moderate their very loud voices for Emily. Also, I see Alex received some expensive kitchen gadgets, I still wonder how they manage to spend in this way.

Just watched part of the latest video. No wonder Alex is hoarse, all the screeching she does, and now the children and Phil have opened the parcel and are going ballistic with screaming and over the top behaviour. From the IG stories, it appears that Emily has been found to have heartworms, which is sad, but hopefully she can be treated.

I noticed during the parcel unwrapping extravaganza that Cassidy was very near to a companion set - a fire tool stand - which would be heavy, and not something I would leave within the reach of a young child.

I hope that Emily is not phased by the loudness of the family, and that they do not leave her alone with the girls, especially Cassidy. On the IG stories, she was lying against Emily - not something I would have done with my children at that age. Wonderful for Emily to have all the outside space to explore.

Yeah, because these people are about as dry as cracker juice. There's literally nothing interesting about them outside their infertility journey, and even that isn't the moneymaker it used to be now that they have Cassidy.
I look forward to the day this gravy train runs out and they have to work actual jobs while still raising their kids, cooking dinner, and keeping house. Now THAT is something I might actually watch.

Alex would get the shock of her life if she had to cope without help, ie Phil, and Grammie, or Mimi. Yes, the videos are boring. No mention of future IVF, perhaps she realise she has her work cut out with three children, plus the "garden" and the hens. Cassidy appears to feature more than the girls in the IG photos, and apart from her colouring, isn't she like Phil!

I actually think the dog will be good for them. I’m not a dog person, but I think it’ll be nice for the kids to experience some real, unconditional love for once. And Phil actually has something he wants finally. Not just Alex’s way always.

I know Alex picked Emily for content purposes- an adopted dog fits into their story and they would’ve gotten backlash for buying a puppy (I would have personally been against it; I’m a big proponent of the adopt not shop movement, except in very particular situations). Plus we all know they couldn’t handle the work of a puppy. But Emily has some trauma they can share for views too, which is going to be something Alex can exploit to pay for the heart worm treatment (cue more parallels about heart problems and fitting into the family.)

And of course they got a “pure bred”. Nothing fits Alex better.

So they left Emily alone for the first time while they went to church, and she did some damage to the house!
I’ve followed these guys off and on for awhile and never heard a curse word. My jaw hit the floor when I heard Phil say “oh fuck it” in the background of an Instagram story! So much for the perfect Christian facade they put on lol!

I was thinking the same thing. She went nuts because her owners didn’t practice with her and it’s still new etc. I would have loved for her to actually tear up more. Philips language is horrible too next to his girls
