It's R Life - Part 1

Obviously the thumbnail showing high drama on Evie’s first flight is bull! Because she enjoyed the flight. I must say I am flabbergasted at the sheer number of people in the comments who claim to have never flown before or are nervous on a flight. And then Kendal saying she…a grown ass Middle Aged Woman….would be too nervous to get on a flight alone. I also have no idea how she can be sooooooo proud of Evie just for getting on a plane.

I am hoping so much that this trip is the starting to point for Evie to realise there are so many places to explore beyond Disney. She doesn’t even have to leave the country. But god forbid if she were to get a passport and travel the world! Wouldn’t that be a kick in the teeth for Kendal! Little Evie, her best buddy, doing things without HER!

I’m glad she enjoyed it! EV traveling the world or even throughout the US would be a really good experience for her in my opinion. She seems unsure about college and wants to stay at home and do it online if she does but maybe she’d be better off taking a gap year and exploring the world on her own. She would grow and mature SO much as a person and just become more worldly. It would give her time on her own to really discover who she is outside of being a daughter and sister, outside of the Rich house. Kendal would never allow it nor do I think EV would have the nerve to do it. It’s a shame though; I did so much travel as a kid growing up and it taught me a lot.

I couldn’t believe the people who were afraid either! It’s really not a big deal, some people fly every day and they’re a-okay! I flew alone at 14 for the first time to and from another country. I understand being proud in a way just because of the lack of life experience EV has but not *that* level of proud. Planes are actually pretty safe and we only really hear about plane crashes because they don’t happen very often. Kendal being too afraid to fly doesn’t surprise me. She has a lot of fear and anxiety for someone who acts as though she’s so confident and self assured. Her not be willing to fly and just going to Disney all the time instead is another example of how her fear is keeping her kids close by and dependent by not allowing them to have these travel experiences they could be having but also by projecting those fears onto her kids. The closest her kids are going to get to seeing the world while living under their roof is walking around the world showcase at Epcot.

This rant is a little off topic but related to the Riches. The more videos I watch, the more angry I get with how little parenting they do with Hampton. The whole not doing speech therapy is one of those things but we’ve discussed a few times so I’m going to not elaborate on that one.

They seem to give him anything he wants just to avoid a meltdown. If they said no more often, he’d get used to it and wouldn’t meltdown every time but that takes effort and time to talk him through it and it’s easier to just go buy him a pink drink. I understand that he has autism but people with autism can learn too. Having autism doesn’t mean you have to let them get away with whatever they want; it may take some different approaches but you can raise and parent a child with autism just like a neurotypical one. They aren’t doing him any favors by allowing this to go on.

Similarly, there doesn’t seem to be much rules or enforcement of those rules for Hampton but that can be really dangerous. I know there’s been many vlogs where they tell stories of him just taking their food or drinks secretly and eating/drinking them. The latest mention was a few days before Christmas when they were at the mall and Hampton snuck a drink of Daniel’s smoothie with peanut butter in it. Hampton is allergic to peanuts but Daniel said it’s fine because only his ears and lips and face swelled. If you have an allergy that causes lip or tongue swelling, the next reaction could be in the throat leading to anaphylactic shock. If they taught Hampton that you’re not allowed to eat someone else’s food without asking, this wouldn’t have happened. This behavior has been happening for years and is still happening. I suspect this is only one example of other similar issues.

Ken especially appears to always speak to him in that whiny baby voice, the same way she talks to her cats. He’s what, 8 years old now? Talk to him like you would when Sebi was his age; he’s a human not a pet. They don’t seem to give him enough credit for what he understands. For some reason, a lot of people assume that if someone can’t speak properly, they can’t think properly but that couldn’t be further from the truth. They often talk about him as though he’s not sitting right there, assuming they think he doesn’t understand, but if you watch his facial expressions when they are talking about him and his behavior and laughing, Hampton looks so hurt. I’ve noticed it in a few videos now. He seems to be a sweet sensitive guy and, though we don’t know exactly how much he understands, talk about him in the same way you would as if he understood all of it.

So writing all this out, I’ve realized that my main issue is that it appears they don’t give him enough credit for how much he understands. They have a sweet, bright young man that has so much potential; all he needs is parents to raise him well and help him reach thy potential. He deserves that.

Am I the only one who suspects they got Evie a fake vaccine card? She wouldn’t be allowed to do anything in New York without one. I also wouldn’t be surprised if she was required to show one to participate in the photo shoot. The other option would be to allow her to actually get vaccinated. You know that would never happen.

There’s no way in the world Kendal would allow her to get vaccinated and im pretty sure EV holds the same beliefs as her mom so she probably wouldn’t want it either.

I never thought about a fake vaccine card but that was a great idea! It’s very possible. NYC has a lot of restrictions so like you said, how would she do anything without a proof of vaccine? I can imagine that she would need one for the photo shoot too. They’re bringing people from all over the states together for this shoot, it could end up being a super spreader event if all unvaccinated.

My daughter was away at a training camp and every day every athlete was tested.

I’m sure he didn’t do anything terrible but he’s certainly not moping around his house. On one of her tiktoks someone suggested they’d only be dating a month and Evie said it was actually 3 months and that they (the Rich family) don’t have to tell anyone shit. So in true Rich form and following in her nasty mother’s footsteps, Evie is being a bitch to people who follow her.

I don’t know what vaccine certificates are like in the US but in my country, we literally carry around the pieces of paper that gets filled out when you get the vaccine . Our healthcare system though is very behind the US technologically.

What I was thinking for places she would go was restaurants mainly. Maybe she got everything delivered but they likely had a meal out with the varsity team to celebrate. Here, we need proof of vaccine to eat in a restaurant. On the varsity subject, I agree with you. The only thing would be if the venue required proof of vaccine which could’ve been a possibility depending where the shoot was. It’s possible variety did a work around for EV not being vaccinated with testing daily as you mentioned.

OMG. EV has really put her foot in her mouth but she clearly doesn’t see that yet; someday she will and really regret these posts. She’s telling them to leave Cam alone but her actions and behaviors say otherwise, she needs to chill with these videos about wanting him back and being in love and blah blah blah if she wants her followers to leave him alone. EV and Kendal are completely different people on tiktok than on YouTube.

I honestly think tiktok may end up causing their downfall. I think more and more people who watch on YouTube will start seeing through that nice facade she projects when they go on her tiktok and seeing her tear apart 12 year olds in the comments. I think the hate on tiktok is getting to her because she’s mentioned so many times about how “the haters would say blah blah” relating to things happening in the vlog or one of the kids. Since she’s talking about haters so much, I’d say they’re probably on her mind a lot too. If Kendal keeps being rude to nearly everyone online, I suspect she will end up alienating most of her audience and she won’t have any viewers left to keep them afloat.

If you noticed in one of the last vlogs, Kendall says some of the varsity girls stayed in hotels and the others stayed in an Airbnb. I’m sure the rule was those who were vaxxed were in the hotel and the others were in the Airbnb. I doubt they went out to a restaurant given the number of girls participating. Kendal is very clearly a controlling and manipulative woman. You can see the fear in Daniel’s eyes when they talk. He waits for her to say something and then smiles and nods along in agreement. ALWAYS. Daniel never has an original thought. He mimics everything she says - regardless of the topic.

Kendal also uses fear to control her kids. Its the best way for her to keep them close. Her constant projections of her own insecurities are harmful and detrimental to their growth. Kendal wants to be wanted and needs to be validated at all turns - which I’m sure is a product her being rejected by her parents. Her kids is all she has (her marriage to Daniel is a sham and you can’t convince me otherwise. These two have NO chemistry and act like brother and sister more than romantic partners) and she knows without them she has NO identity. This is also why she leans so heavily into her conservative beliefs. She needs something to make her feel special. Saying things like “I’m the only honest YouTuber” makes her feel special. Being so controlling over her kids where she’s their only friend makes her feel special. Kendal is a narcissist who is using her children to fulfill a void. She uprooted her entire family from NC because SHE hated it there. I mean how much more selfish can you get? She pretends her entire family loves Disney so she can get her fix and not feel bad about it.

Sorry for the rant lol but she’s just an attention seeking moron of a person and her behavior is atrocious, especially given her age.

I hadn’t considered the move and how that factored into things with Kendal. Like you said, she unrooted her whole family (and most of the kids have said at one point on video they’d rather be in NC) because she was unhappy. I wonder if it was also a way to make their bubble even stronger, keep the kids even more isolated because they wouldn’t be in a small community where they’ve lived for awhile and where the kids had friends and Kendal would’ve know a lot of people from church, homeschool co-op, cheerleading, etc. Once in Florida, they were away from everyone and everything they knew so Ken could change and do whatever she wanted because there was nobody around who’d call her out on that kind of thing. Plus the kids would become even more dependent on her since they wouldn’t have any friends when moving there. Idk if that makes sense, just a theory, and I don’t think this would’ve been *the* reason they moved but it may have been a big bonus in their mind.

The Disney thing annoys me so much. They could be saving money to go on trips to anywhere that isn’t Disney but she keeps shelling out cash to go to the magical place on earth where treating her like a princess is part of their job description. Considering nobody else really cares to go, they could save a lot of money if they cut back to going like once or twice a year and the kids would probably enjoy it more because they aren’t there constantly.

I worry about the girls but especially EV ending up with an eating disorder. Now that Ken wants to start up EV’s modeling career, that world is often very damaging to people’s self esteem too. Kendal has a *terribly unhealthy* relationship with food in my opinion. Though I doubt she has an eating disorder, she may have disorder eating habits. For example, restricting intake through the guise of intermittent fasting, keto, the carnivore diet, or some other strict diet. She is on diets constantly and talks about it in front of her kids and She criticizes her body a lot in front of the kids, two big no-no’s when raising kids if you want them to have good self esteem. This is discussed on the vlogs often which is and could be damaging on their young audience too. She compliments the girls almost exclusively on their looks. She bonds with them by going tanning together, getting nails done, etc., all image focused things.

I feel bad for those girls too. I’m afraid Brin & Kap will end up falling into the low self esteem trap too.

Yes uncultured is a better word.

The reason she gets no hate DMs is because she blocks everyone and won’t allow anyone to speak their mind. It’s her way or it’s the highway. And most of her critics would rather hold their tongues and enjoy the shitshow in silence than be blocked. I have offered mild criticism over the years and been blocked every single time. I take it as a compliment to be blocked by her on social media platforms because it means she feels threatened by me…and she’d only feel threatened if she thought I was stronger or better than her. No one is threatened by a weakling. Anyway, she can keep blocking and I’ll keep making ghost accounts just to give me fodder to participate on this board.
