It’s almost midnight (where I live) on Monday and still radio silence from the Riches… no new vlog or talk on Instagram about the competition. Either because they’re angry for losing or some other cheer related reason or they’re just trolling us which I think is unlikely .

I saw that FC’s Lady Canes seem to be the only team to have gotten a bid to summit from the competition. It’s not that surprising as there’s not very many J6 teams through the US in comparison to lower levels. However their bid is only “at large” so other teams did better that got paid bids. There’s 3 types of bid; from best to “worst”: paid (advance directly to semi finals, competition fees and 4 nights at Disney hotel paid for, total worth is $25k), at large (nothing paid but advance directly to semi finals), and wildcard (must compete in WC round to earn a place in the semis).

Since we’ve seen EV’s routine so can compare, here is the team who won EV’s division, Senior coed 3 medium (I think EV’s is medium), at summit last year. They are really great, sharp AF and their flyers are amazing (watch for the free stretch the center flyer does towards the middle of the routine I think, holy crap she’s strong and flexible!!). If this team brings their A game again this year (which I’m sure they will because Stingrays Allstars is a huge, very well known gym for having amazing teams not only at the worlds levels but summit too), I don’t think EV’s team Lightning will have a chance against them.

Oh sweet Kendall- she knows it’s a holiday but doesn’t know which one! Oh it’s MLK day! She blames it on being sooooo busy. (Such is life as a cheer mom! You just don’t even know which way is right side up!) Two minutes after finding out it’s MLK day, Kendall decides it’s an important enough holiday for her to post an inspirational MLK quote because she can’t miss an opportunity to show how self righteous she is. I thought you didn’t do fake, Kenny?

I thought she was different from all those fake family vloggers? All you need to do is compare what she acts like on YouTube to her tiktoks to her Instagram and you see her 3 different online personas . Considering she has a son who’s Black, teaching him about things like MLK and stuff should be a priority. He’s not getting exposed to his culture and a lot of Black people who grow up like him end up feeling out of place everywhere in the world, not Black enough to fit in with the Black community but not white so doesn’t fit in with white people either. Poor little guy doesn’t have a chance in the world… He doesn’t even have any friends which makes me so sad.

Didn’t you know being a cheer mom is the hardest job in the world?! She doesn’t even have time to cook because she’s constantly at the gym! She even knows all the girls’ routines and music because she’s so dedicated!!! /s It’s super obvious to me that she lives vicariously through her kids A LOT; she always has to make it all about her. Oh and there’s lots of people who work full time jobs, have 5 kids who all do different sports, and who still have time to put supper on the table every night. It’s not that she’s “so busy” like she says, it’s poor time management; she spends her time watching TV and “homeschooling” and deleting comments off her social media/leaving snarky replies to her comments. Obviously cooking healthy meals and keeping a clean house aren’t priorities to her because people much busier than her manage to do it and she could to if she got her priorities straight.

Eeeek. That’s not very good. I’m going to go look because I’m curious who their competition was. Maybe the other two comps were smaller with smaller teams and this comp brought out the big guns.

No wonder they haven’t posted. None of them deal well with losing, Kendal included (they had to learn to become sore losers somewhere!). I’m sure they will have 101 excuses for why they didn’t win but should’ve in their minds…

If you look at EVs team performance you can see how SLOW they are. Their routine doesn’t flow and they take forever to get a stunt up or to get a pyramid up. They’re boring to watch.

Also, I feel like anyone can do all-star cheer as long as you have the $$. Is that right? Like obviously you have to have basic skills, but I feel like they’d just place you somewhere as long as you can pay for your pot.

Did anyone catch Kenny saying Hampton can’t do sports right now because he’s not in the physical place to do them yet? What then hell! Kendall! He can’t do physical sports because YOU and your dud of a husband don’t give him the proper care or attention. He should be in therapy for this - not sitting on the couch on his iPad for hours a day. You have a pool! Teach him to swim. Water therapy is great for people with low muscle tone. DO SOMETHING. He hasn’t been to school in years. No professional therapy in YEARS. He’s way behind the curve because of YOUR NEGLECT. he will NEVER get to be independent at this rate. Sometimes I feel like they treat Hampton like a pet. They feed him, bathe him, take him out for walks, but other than that he’s just “there”.

It’s disgusting.

Also there are the Special Olympics which is a massive world wide sporting association for people with intellectual disabilities! It’s total bullshit (excuse my French) that Hampton is not in a place where he can do sports. If Kendal and Daniel were to put a fraction of the effort into Hampton and his development that they do into the girls and their cheer (and I assume Sebi too) he would for sure make it around Disney without a stroller. They have a park close to them. They live in a quiet cul de sac…teach the kid to ride his bike…heck buy him a three wheeler just so he can learn to push the pedals. These two parents are, as you say Pelican, neglectful!

They were slow and it felt heavy if that makes sense. A good cheer routine is fun to watch and the athletes make it look so easy and effortless even though it’s anything but.

You’re somewhat right about having money in cheer. Money can help but can only bring you so far. Most cheer gyms have tryouts but everyone makes a team, it might not be the one you want though. I think having $$$ would make it more likely to get the team you want but it still has to be one that you have enough skills for. On high level teams, people get kicked off and moved to other teams if they can’t keep up.

If you go back a couple pages, I did a big rant about Hampton too. I agree completely with what you said!!! They treat him exactly like a pet. If he has poor muscle tone, that’s even more reason to get him up and moving and being active. Like I said in my other post, they don’t give him enough credit. I think because he can’t talk correctly, they assume his brain doesn’t think correctly either but he’s a bright young man with a lot of potential; you can tell by watching his expressions when they talk about him as if he’s not there or teasing him, he gets it. Hampton needs PT, OT, and SLP. I think he could flourish with the right help. I know they’ve mentioned about him not being able to eat some foods because he chokes but that’s something an SLP could help a lot with or even fix! They want nothing to do with him and, because of that, he’ll be stuck living with them forever since they aren’t helping him learn to be independent (unless they send him off to a special care group home). Considering they have no interest in him, I’d think they’d be getting him all the therapies so that he won’t need to live with them forever.

Kendal plan on going to a gym to win is not going so well LOL. Let’s see if she stays with Flip next season if they don’t start winning again.

There’s was some of the same teams at this comp and the last but also some that weren’t and did well. I was glad to see Infinity Allstars doing well because they had a terrible year last year; one of their young 12 or 13 year old athletes was brutally murdered, it was a terribly heartbreaking case and it really shook that gym of course. Glad to see them doing well especially because they dedicated this season to her.

I know! That was so pathetic! By the way…Cameron and Evie no longer follow each other on IG. The way Kendal has suddenly become so flamboyantly religious makes me think the break up definitely had something to do with the church and the Rich family’s LACK of devotion. Honestly, IF that’s the reason they broke up, I think it’s for the best. But it suddenly seems that Kendal and Evie are trying too hard to prove their Christianity.

I did prefer the new cheer vlog over the other ones. There was less whooping and woo-hooing which is always good. Just with regard to Kapri’s team not winning because they were up against smaller teams…would Kendal have preferred they were the only team in the competition (Y2 large…there was only one team in the whole competition and that was flip city) and that they won first place? In other words, they would have been handed the gold medal because they had no competition. I’m not really sure what her point was…a medal is more important than a competition?
I’m hoping that varsity tv will open up the competition for public viewing after 5 days. That way we can see the three teams.

She thinks she looks amazing but wants to hear it from everyone else to validate her feelings. If she thought she was fat she wouldn’t be wearing that & dancing around with a big smile on her face.

Ooooooh, thanks for the Cam & EV tea! I honestly think that we’ve been right all along; that the Riches may say they’re Christians but don’t uphold the Christian values Cam’s family does. The video where they were shopping together before Christmas, I felt this odd tension between EV and Cam. Not sure if it was because of being on camera but she was short and snippy and sarcastic with him and he seemed out off by it. From what we’ve seen, Cam seems like a really sweet and kind young man and deserves someone who will treat him with the same respect. Kendal and EV are definitely pushing the Christian thing (yet Kap didn’t even know that Good Friday was a real thing…) so I have no doubt that it played a role. Like you said, I think it’s for the better.

I think that’s exactly what Kendal wanted! If they were competing against nobody, not only would they get a medal but they could’ve gotten a bid. They don’t care about proving themselves against other teams, they just want the first place medal and the accolades that come with it. Yes, the other teams only had 15 athletes which is easier in a way, less athletes to make mistakes BUT their mistakes are a lot more noticeable than a team with 30 so I don’t think it was unfair. Even though Kendal said the opposite, she does seem to think her girls deserve wins no matter what.

This vlog was much better content wise. Getting to hear the music and snippets of the performance is much more interesting than watching Ken yell and jump and her general attention seeking type behavior throughout the whole routine. I’m hoping varsity will open them up too! I think that not only Ken but the gym in general sees their teams as better than they actually are. They look fine but none of the routines I’ve seen have been excellent nor worthy of a first at summit. I’m interested to see if they all get a bid because in the vlog where EV switched to FC, her and Ken said that summit bids are a given at FC…

Omg . Did you see Brin’s photo the other day on Instagram wearing that bra her mom let her go to the mall in?! I can’t believe how they let the younger girls dress. Anytime anyone says anything about them being in a sports bra, she retorts back that it’s their cheer practice wear and they need to wear it but why can’t they put a t-shirt over it once they leave the gym instead of prancing around target half dressed? Also what’s with them all wearing pajama pants out of the house all the time? Is this a new trend that I’m out of the loop on? The way the girls dress definitely doesn’t help demonstrate their “Christians values”…

I know they mentioned before EV’s first photo shoot that she’s lost weight and I think she’s feeling herself since then, I think it’s given her a boost of confidence though I think deep down she’s still just a little girl looking for the approval she never got. She’s definitely looking for people to validate that she looks good, that’s basically her entire tiktok. Social media has become so freaking toxic. EV needs to realize that you can’t spend your whole life seeking approval from everyone, the only persons approval you need is your own. If she feels good, no need for others to confirm it. She might attract more guys if she was confident in herself rather than being so needy

Since we were talking about Hampton being out of shape the other day, I saw this clip in a vlog and wanted to share it here. He can barely even move these weights and they look to be no more than 5 lbs. Daniel is filming and laughing about it but this is actually SUPER concerning to me how out of shape he is. No wonder he needs a stroller at the mall… Riches, I know you read here, can you PLEASE get the boy into some PT, OT, & SLP? He has so much potential and you’re squandering it by not giving him adequate support to grow and reach his potential.

Totally agree! When they were dating, I always felt that the amount of time they spent on FaceTime which was all the time (from what I could gather on the vlog) was really excessive. How is he supposed to have a life outside of EV if he can’t have 2 minutes to himself? It made it so EV would be the only person in his life. She seemed to insert herself in a lot of facets in his life like the FaceTiming constantly, gonna to his youth group, went to watch his sports, etc. but she couldn’t control or be involved in his school life made her jealous of his other friends. I think their weird family dynamic probably contributes to this possessive behavior in some way, my brain is just too tired for armchair psychology right now LOL. But yes I totally agree what she is posting is totally backfiring; it says much more about her than about Cam. It’s funny because Kendal always preaches about taking the high road and that people who are mean and vengeful just make themselves look bad but she blindly defends EV on everything it seems.

I assume you’ve seen Evie’s ‘fat af’ tiktok.

There are hundreds of comments and the vast majority are calling her out for being needy and fishing for compliments. Which is true. If she actually thought she was fat she would not post videos of her in her sports top or photos of her wearing tiny shorts. In fact, she probably wouldn’t wear those types of clothes. So actually she is confident that she’s not fat and her tiktok does actually confirm her need for attention. Only this time it has backfired!
For the record I do not think Evie is fat. However she is also not skinny. She’s looks good and there are probably a billion teenagers who would love to have a body like hers and a billion others who are leaner and fitter.

And Kendal as usual is preaching the importance of being kind, while Evie is saying on IG that she’s only mean to people she doesn’t like.

Daniel talking up Sebi’s football match was nice to hear for a change. But also showing Sebi MAKING Mac n Cheese was laughable! 100% that Mac n Cheese was one of those disgusting packages that you simply add boiling water to and stir. Do you think the Rich family even knows how easy it is to make real Mac n Cheese by making homemade cheese sauce starting with a roux? And boiling your own pasta! And the result isn’t even comparable!
