Whoever said Kendal projects her feelings on to the kids is 100% right!! In todays vlog Kap was saying how she doesn’t mind the cold and is looking forward to Atlanta while Kendal was whining about how cold it’s going to be. Kendal loves to talk about how they are all SO happy in Florida when in reality SHE is the only one who cares where they live. Even Brin has said things about how she wishes it got cold.

Also pretty sure Kendal has a shopping addiction. Who goes to the mall multiple times a week and spends hundreds of dollars every time? Their Lululemon bill alone was over $150! They are broke as a joke and I can’t wait for them to file for bankruptcy

The other girls say they would like having seasons then Kendal tells them how bad it was and they reluctantly take it back. Sebi said something once about how bad it was in NC… he was like 5, I’m sure he doesn’t remember much and, if he did, I can’t imagine him hating it at that age. His opinion comes solely from what Kendal tells them they should feel IMO.

She is definitely a shopping addict and bankruptcy may very well be on the horizon. THAT will make for interesting content . Say bye to your massive house (with a huge mortgage I imagine) and daily shopping sprees! It really isn’t normal to shop and spend that much money. It’s nuts!!! She needs a therapist so she can learn to cope with life in a healthy way instead of just using shopping as her therapy. That is not a healthy coping mechanism.

Kendal has mentioned about not using credit cards and I think that’s because of their possibly impending bankruptcy. My dad was on the board of a non profit that helped people on the verge of bankruptcy recover without having to actually file for it and getting rid of their credit cards is a big thing they do so they’ll only spend the money they already have; most of those people and I imagine the Riches as well probably have a lot of credit card debt so they get them to ditch the credit cards to not continue building debt as they work to help them pay it off. I wonder if this is what Daniel was crying about in that room makeover vlog?

The white crocs bought in today’s video for Kap cost almost $70! Wtf! I paused when she opened the bag and the freaking receipt was shown. BTW she used a visa debit card. Lol.

Wtf! This may be an unpopular opinion but I think crocs are butt ugly and spending $70 on ugly rubber shoes full of holes is asinine. Just get a knock off pair for $20 instead; they’ll be just as good. Using her visa debit card confirms what I mentioned above about them not using credit cards! That was a great catch!

Totally agree!!! Plus EV only wants an expensive car. I bet if they offered her a cheap used one that isn’t exactly what she wants that she’s refuse. She’s rather being driven around all the time than drive an old/cheaper/used car. Most 16/17 year olds are so happy they’re getting a car that they don’t care what they’re driving. I was thrilled to get my dad’s 15 year old Ford Focus, I just was grateful to have a car.

that’s bc kendal has raised evie to be materialistic as hell ever since they moved to Florida. honestly /w evie being picky she only has herself to blame bc she taught it through how she’s been a shopaholic and a live in at malls. we all know summer 2019 was like the peaaaak year kendal was rolling in gold and what’d she do? flew and burnt COIN at designer stores and name brands like a maniac in front of her daughters ON TOP of signing a massive mortgage (who da hell signs mortgage paperwork with only one season of reliable income?!!) shes gotta cut it out she’s gonna destroy her credit score

Plus, if I remember correctly, they had to take a super high interest mortgage or got a loan from a loan shark type business which is also super high interest. However they got the money for the house, the interest is going to be crazy because, like you said, they only had one session of reliable income which I’m pretty sure is why they took out a high interest mortgage/loan. I agree with you guys too. I think some they keep and write off as a business expense (which a lot of YouTubers don’t seem to understand you still need to pay for it, you just don’t need to pay taxes on it; it’s not free - reminds me of that episode of Schitt’s creek where David goes on a shopping spree and is just going to write everything off and doesn’t realize he still has to pay for it all haha love that show) and some they return by. There’s a couple videos that come to mind where the girls had to buy outfits for each other and their went home to try them on. When they were modeling the outfits, they forgot to tuck in some of the tags so I’m sure it was all returned afterwards. Sometimes they show things in a haul and never see it again. I’ve also noticed that sometimes the girls will “lose” in a shopping challenge and they can’t buy the shirt or whatever they want but they’re wearing it a few days later. It’s all a giant farce and they think we’re too stupid to see that.

Another thing they probably do is fill up their cart as if they’re buying everything (especially in those shopping challenges they’d do at target where they had to race to find things or get the most things and whoever won got to buy the stuff but it was all crap they didn’t want) and then just dumping the cart somewhere leaving it for the employees to put away. Kendal has berated people many times on video for leaving their carts in the parking lot instead of putting them back in the cart corral but what she does with ditching a cart full of product is WAY worse and WAY more work for the employees. The things they teach their kids by doing this is awful.

Saint Kendal calls out the crappy stuff other people do but then does things much worse. How many times can I say this in this thread? HYPOCRITE

I’m sure employees at the stores and malls they frequent cringe when they see them come in

Just a quick (short(ish)) thought for once. Watching the last couple vlogs as we go into Cheersport weekend, I’m feeling bad for Brinley. Kendal has been *really* hyping up her team/their routine, telling her that’s if they hit, they’ll win, and going on about the cool jackets they’ll win, etc. I get that you shouldn’t go into a competition expecting to lose, that’s not a good mindset to have of course, but I feel like Kendal is getting her hopes up unrealistically high. The competition will be fierce and they’re competing against many teams in a big division. The lower levels are often much more competitive in terms of having a lot more teams to compete against than the high levels because it’s much easier to find enough athletes to make a winning level 2 team than a winning level 6 team. We all know from previous vlogs that hitting zero (getting no deductions) *doesn’t* guarantee a win but Kenny is going on about it to Brin as if it does. All teams could hit zero then the raw score is what’s really important. They could hit zero but have a much lower raw score than other teams. There’s many ways things can play out with them getting zero and not winning. I just feel bad for Brinley because the more hyped up she gets, the more heartbreaking it’ll be when they don’t win. Yes, you need to have a positive attitude, but there’s also worth to being realistic as well. The higher the hopes, the bigger the fall when your hopes don’t come true. I like Brin and don’t want to see her heartbroken.

(I say Brin because we don’t see her doing this with EV on the vlog but she could be majorly hyping EV up too, who knows)

Omg yes the phones! I forgot about that!!! I love how so many people in the comments called them out because the title said that they *all* got iPhone 13s but they didn’t. You’re right, they were “ordered and on the way”. They should be here by now. Kap got the short end of the stick on the phones; it was supposed to be her big birthday gift but then they all got new phones a couple of days later. I think they just pretended it was a gift for clicks but were planning on everyone getting new ones anyways. It doesn’t really count if a gift if everyone is getting it. Like we’ve said about other things, I’m sure they just couldn’t afford it so made up a convenient lie.

Another weird thing… the Varsity catalog EV went to the photo shoots for has been out for many weeks now, possibly even a couple months, yet there’s been no mention of it. They even put EV on the back of the book; like it’s not the cover but it’s the back cover which is a pretty good privilege!! Why are they not bragging about that/the catalog in general? Maybe they didn’t like the photos so didn’t want people to look at it? Maybe they were upset they only put like 5 photos of her in it? I didn’t really like EV’s photos tbh. She was much too made up and photoshopped, she looks much prettier in just everyday life than the catalog. The ones where she’s making a serious face kinda look awkward… She looks more angry than serious.

We are only just home from holidays. We were in Disneyland Paris for 4 days and it was brilliant. I’ve missed out on vlogs and IG so am definitely looking forward to catching up. This thread is pulsating though! Great work and great updates. They keep me in the loop.

I don’t think not mentioning the varsity catalog has anything to do with them not liking the pictures or not liking that EV was on the back cover (that’s pretty awesome for EV honestly).
I think it has to do with not being allowed to share it without permission. The back cover photo is on EVs Instagram so it’s clearly a picture she likes. This family LOVES attention and loves any reason to brag so you know full well they would if they could.
