Evs team is currently in last place. I am at Cheersport for competition this weekend. Even though I am not competing against any of the rich girls teams(I’m in the LC6 division) I will try and make sure to keep y’all up to date with competition results. I know sometimes varsity can take a while to get the scores and results posted online. If anyone here is competing or has children that are competing this weekend I wish y’all the best of luck.

According to the schedule, Brin’s team goes on today at 4:20pm with awards at 5:30pm. Evie’s team goes on at 8:56pm and awards are at 10:15pm! Wow, that’s late!!!! Are they staying another night at the Ritz and driving home tomorrow? With Evie in last and worse scores than Brin, it’s going to be a sad night and grueling long ride home.

Looked up Kendal's hotel and I'm seeing $280 per night, I think it would usually be a lot more (since its a Ritz Carlton), but since it's winter it's less. With the fly and drive debate personally I think that Glass and Pelican are both right. With Kendal's YT and social media in general in the gutter, clearly so is the income. I think they drove because they couldn't afford to fly them all out there, because of their overly-speedy for their income lifestyle. I do think Kendal can afford $1400 but she'd have to sacrifice her precious & holy gardens mall trips to do it. As we know, she would NEVER! Their YouTube isn't like Summer 2019- Summer 2020 and you can totally tell they aren't raking it in anymore. There's so much we'll never know about their finances..for all we know the grandparents help pay for cheer.
The van was clearly rented by the other family, I wonder if Kendal paid at all? I'd think so, but who knows. Maybe the other family offered and of course she took that up.
Anyone catch Kendal saying while driving into Atlanta "Eww the trees are disgusting." "I miss palm trees." Kendal, give me a break! You're gonna be OK. You'll be in winter for like 3 freaking days. Such an unnecessary comment. Everyone has to know her opinion on weather/ the seasons at all times! Guess what? In Sept-Nov, while you're roasting in thick and humid 90 degree heat, Atlanta gets a beautiful fall. Foliage, mountains/views, and lakes! No place is perfect.. SOUTH FL's weather is just gross a lot of the year, hate to tell you. I think Brinley secretly doesn't love living in FL. She has complained multiple times about the endless heat, and that's only on camera. She only caves when Kendal says her piece afterwords to mold her thoughts into what she wants.

Also regarding the latest vlog (Evie’s secret)

1. I saw from one of her tiktoks that Evie linked another account and I actually thought…good girl, you do have a second private account which I assume is for friends only. And yes, I am now also very happy that she’s keeping it private from her family. She’s a 17 year old. She deserves privacy from her family too.
2. Clearly no one from the Rich family in that minibus that they rented was wearing a seat belt
3. The way Evie spoke about Dom not going to cheersport was gross. She looked like she was angry with him. What 17/18 year old teenage boy wants to go sit with Kendal Rich for 4 days. So her new boyfriend doesn’t do what she wants and she gets herself into a grump. If this is her behavior I’m sure this relationship also won’t last. Also, looking at his IG, he seems To be a bit of a jock with plenty of pretty girls hanging around him.
4. Bad enough they stick the girls in the car for 10/11 hours, but they also stock up on snacks and candy for the journey which was no doubt broken only for Meals in fast food restaurants. Mature and responsible parenting from Daniel and Kendal.

Who could blame him? Who would want to be in a van for hours with a bunch of girls especially the Rich girls & for what? To watch Evie cheer? I dont think Doms that into Evie or else he would've gone, sometimes things can be boring but if you like that person you'll still tag along. Daniel shouldve corrected Evies attitude. Dom ditched Evie to hang with other people, doesnt seem like a solid relationship. Remember a boyfriend is an accessory to Evies life, hes not allowed to have his own life.

The same judges who awarded the J6 and Tiny team first place? It’s laughable how stupid she is. She can’t fathom losing based on merit- somebody had to have cheated or the judges rigged the whole thing! She feels the same way about Biden wining the election so not surprised she can’t lose with grace.

I’m 100% certain Kendal wants to be the popular mom with three all star cheerleading girls because she needs to feel validated in all aspects of her life. She’s very much a “look at me and my amazingly perfect life” person. We see right through it though.

If Kendal studies the score sheets she will discover many examples of teams with zero deductions being ranked below teams with deductions because their raw score is simply not high enough. Difficulty score matters Kendal.
I thought Evie’s team was supposed to be doing a more difficult routine? Wasn’t her raw score in Atlanta lower than last week?
Also, between place 3 and 6 in Brinley’s category there isn’t much difference. Their difficulty scores are pretty close and most have zero deductions. Day two will be decided by which team can hold it together and perhaps do something to increase their difficulty.

They all moved to flip city because of evie. Of the three girls, Evie is the one who has progressed least and whose team is the weakest. She saw herself winning medals and jackets and the reality is, she’s coming last every time. I wonder will they move gyms again?

Looking forward to the Atlanta vlog and looking forward to Eliel’s vlog.

Also, why put their three kids in a car for 10+ hours on the day before their biggest competition and expect them to be fit. The people who do this are the people who cannot afford airfare. Plain and simple. We just drove 650 km yesterday afternoon. Non stop that’s over 6 hours of driving according to google. We stopped once. The journey actually took us 7.5 hours.
The trip from Wellington to Atlanta is 970km. According to google maps that’s 10 hours or driving with no stops. So they left Friday morning at 5am (according to IG). Let’s assume they made three stops and had no traffic. I would estimate them to arrive around dinner time (6pm) in Atlanta. They then need to eat. And sleep before the competition. How on earth is that healthy for any child who is expected to perform. I’d love to know how many of their team mates flew and how many drove, and those who drove…did they drive on Friday or on Thursday to allow for recovery and preparation

They may have made the routine harder but if your performance goes down because you can’t do these harder things correctly, you’re not going to improve your raw score. I’m sure that’s what’s happening to EV’s team. I don’t know what it is with her team in general because we can’t see the routines but they just don’t seem to have it together this season, they must just not click as a team idk. They’re just having low scores and very little success. Your question about them moving gyms, I’ve wondered that a lot lately. The other two are thriving at flip big time but EV can’t keep up. When is she going to accept EV is just not meant to be a highly competitive cheerleader? She may love it but it doesn’t mean she’s talented in it… Maybe Ken will be happy that at least 2 of her kids are winning and maybe they will be the favorites when it comes to cheer anyways, I don’t think it’s likely though. It would make them look dumb with all the praise they’ve given the gym, especially Kenny, but she did that with fire too. I think the biggest difference between flip and fire for Kendal is that she has friends there now too. So B&K winning on top of them advancing their skills and being part of the cheer mom group may be enough for her to not leave just for EV. This will be interesting to watch play out too!

I have no idea why they would do a huge drive like that right before a competition. The last time they spoke about it, Kendal said that almost everyone is flying now. $200 for a flight (in my country anyways) is super affordable. I assume they can’t afford to fly right now but why couldn’t just the two girls competing and Kendal go? It would be a lot cheaper and realistically the rest of them don’t need to be there; I’m sure the boys would be happier at home anyways. I did a similar trip distance wise and time wise as they did. I drive 10 hours on a Thursday to do a university campus tour on the Friday and I was completely exhausted; cheerleading is definitely more intense than touring a university campus. They don’t treat the kids like the athletes they want them to be at all.

1. I think it’s great EV has her own private social media away from her family. She literally spends all day everyday with them, she has no reprieve but a private account would let her have an escape in a way. I hope she keeps the questionable/controversial stuff to her private account. I had this drilled into my head as a teenager that the internet is forever; you can delete things but they will never be gone. It’s very normal that if you’re applying for a job, they’ll look at your social media and if they see red flags on your accounts, you’re less likely to get the job. When I went to parties in HS, we all had a deal that we'd never take photos of each other with alcohol present; we’d hide it for photos so that these photos wouldn’t come back to haunt us
2. EV learned that habit from someone… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree LOL. I don’t know why they think it’s cool not to wear a seatbelt; it won’t be so cool when you’re in an accident and someone gets seriously injured in a way that could’ve been prevented
3. EV falls for people waaaay too fast. It wasn’t that long ago that her and Cam broke up and she already has a new bf. If I remember correctly, someone said he’s a cheerleader at flip too? If I were him, I’d much rather just fly and not be stuck with them for 10+ hours so I’d feel good and ready to perform. I don’t see this lasting at wall…
4. Their eating habits are atrocious. Their eating junk food before competing is a terrible idea. How can you not feel heavy and weighed down after eating a ton of candy and fatty foods? KD act like they care so much about the girls eating well yet they’re the ones who feed them this crap in the first place. Oh the hypocrisy!

Still no day two results for Evie’s team but Brinley’s team dropped to 6th place on day two.

Something I thought important to mention…on the night before they left for cheersport (at 5am), Evie CHOSE to go to a 10pm movie. This is not the behavior of anyone who actually cares about the competition. So, she’s out til after midnight on the night before she leaves on a VERY along car journey filled with sugary fatty foods to compete in the biggest competition of the season. Yeah, this is definitely the behavior of a teenager who takes her sport seriously.

I also noted in the video that the other mother in the car said they paid for the summit bid. Did she actually mean that, or did she mean they got a summit bid but none of the costs are covered and they actually need to pay for everything. Either way, only Kendal seems to be impressed with the crappy summit bid that they were awarded.

And finally…I have zero clue why Daniel and the two boys needed to go to Atlanta. Perhaps Daniel wanted to, but as an adult he should also realise that sometimes you can’t have everything you want. My daughter will be competing in her first international heptathlon in Italy in April. I will go down to watch…alone. You think my husband doesn’t want to watch? Of course he does, but we have two other children who have school to attend and their own trainings to go to. It simply is not possible for my husband to come. So he will watch the livestream. I understand that Kapri probably wants to watch cheersport, but I bet those poor boys are bored of cheer competitions. Kendal and three girls could easily have flown. Kendal has flown before when they lived in NC. I seem to remember a vlog where they took just the two older girls to Disney by plane. I still maintain they CANNOT AFFORD to fly, and kendal cannot function without Daniel by her side.

Thanks for clarifying on the new boyfriend! My bad! I thought I read that he was and as soon as I posted and it was too late to edit, I was like waaaaaait oups. Some of the medications I’m on are big time affecting my cognition these days so I will apologize advance on the future stupid things and wrong things I will say LOL.

Either way, I can totally see why he wouldn’t want to go for that 10 hour drive especially knowing now that he isn’t a cheerleader. My god, a lot of close friends and significant others (at the age they are) that are much tighter than EV and Dom wouldn’t do that huge drive for a weekend competition.

Wow. Yes. I can totally see EV thinking they’re bf/gf but he thinks they’re just talking. Tbh, I don’t know the guy so I could be completely off in left field here but he seems to possibly be the type that he’s just in it for the… booty I guess to put it nicely… you know. I really think he’s just a rebound and it won’t last. EV is delusional IMO if she thinks it’ll last until the summer. If it does, it won’t go farther than that, especially if he’s going away to college. Most of my friends who went into university (or as Americans call it college) with a boyfriend or girlfriend, it didn’t last very long. He will be surrounded by girls much prettier and nicer than EV. Plus she seems to be the jealous type and it’s hard to have fun and go to parties and have the college experience when you have a girlfriend on top of you all the time being jealous of everything you’re doing. The only friends who had lasting relationships were the ones who’d been dating like all through high school and were actually in a good strong relationship. Doing long distance is not for the weak of heart. I can’t imagine this guy going through the long distance dating stuff for her.

Though I hope EV finds love someday, I hope that for everyone, I don’t think this is the guy. I don’t think she will find the right guy until she digs a bit deeper until herself and learns who she is as a person and develops some confidence and self esteem. She’s looking for a boy to fill a hole but she won’t find a happy relationship until she fills that hole on her own. A partner can’t fix things deep inside yourself, that’s up to you.
