It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying

I don’t like sharing personal details here but I’m a dog trainer. Watching them interact with Clover makes me so angry. I wish they’d rehome her like they did with the Brittany’s. If her nails were actually arched like the random photo they showed, most dog people consider that abuse/neglect. It causes dogs A LOT of pain walking on nails like that and it was very obvious that clipping her nails is not something they do regularly. She was freaking out and then Kenny was making it worse by baby talking to her. When a dog is fearful, you need to speak confidently because they feel your energy. By baby talking, it confirms there is something they should be scared of. Just bring her to Petsmart and they’ll do it for like $10. Isn’t that worth it to keep her healthy and pain free? They complain about how she’s a bad dog but they have NO right to make those complaints because it THEIR fault she’s badly behaved because they neglected to train her. Clover must have a very unfulfilling life; dogs like having things to do and their brains challenged. Not only do you never see dog toys around the house, nobody plays with her nor do they bring her on walks. She basically just lives in their house and only gets attention when *they* want cuddles. It makes me so frustrated. Even though she’s a little dog, she should still be walked daily. Nobody seems to care about her enough to do what they should do to take care of her. You see Kenny brushing and grooming her beloved Persians but never Clover (by anybody in that family). They don’t understand dog body language and communication. When they’re annoying her purposefully to get her growling and snapping, that is NOT a cute behavior like they treat it as, it’s an unacceptable behavior but sometimes it’s because they’re genuinely causing her fear/discomfort and other times it’s just because they give her positive reinforcement for that behavior. A growl is a warning that a bite is to follow if you don’t back off. I could go on and on for days but it makes me sad seeing her in the vlog because of their lack of care for her. I’m surprised she’s still alive with how she darts out the door and all they do is tell angrily at her. Do you think she’s going to want to come back when she can tell they’re angry? No way. If a Rich is reading here, if you love your “tata” so much, do her a favor: get her some enriching toys, some dog puzzles, some attention not just when they want to, get her groomed and her nails done regularly, and find a good dog trainer to at least prevent her from darting out the door and, god forbid, getting hit by a car which would be scaring to the kids if there were to witness it. Dogs won’t raise and train themselves… All of this is why their Brittany’s were so crazy and I controllable…

Thanks for this. It’s a bit like raising children. They need to be cared for and tended to and nourished. They need to be educated and trained. I suppose the Riches don’t exactly educate and train their own children so expecting them to do the same for a dog is probably a far reach!

1. Daniel and Kendal treat their pets the same way they treat their kids- they let them do absolutely whatever they want with no rules and no discipline. Bottom line is K&D are lazy and don’t put in the actual work to have well trained pets. The same can be said for their kids. While the kids aren’t awful, they are very spoiled and have no discipline in their lives.

2. I’m very curious what EVs appt was for too. I wonder if it’s something serious that they don’t want to talk about because we all know Kendal makes 10 videos about a “medical” issue when it’s really something as basic as EV needing an x-ray. I don’t think it’s the drivers test because that can be done in Wellington. I don’t think it’s a loan because EV is 17 and not legally authorized to sign any documents. She also has no income of her own. My guess is they saw some sort of specialist. The fact that both K&D went says something too…

3. I was just going to comment about EVs friends. I’m pretty sure she’s not friends with Gigi at all and I’m pretty sure Caitlin switched cheer gyms to get away from EV. If I remember correctly, Caitlin was on Fire with EV and then switched to flip city when EV did. Now she’s not on Flip anymore so I feel like she left the gym and went back to Fire. All of that to say EV cannot keep a friendship to save her life. Bella is flavor of the week- when her and Dom a real up they won’t be friends anymore.

4. I don’t think Kendal took out her extensions. She’s too vain for that. She just got her hair cut and moved her extensions up.

5.the fact that Kendal thought she could revive her Disney channel without thinking through the time and financial commitment it would require shows how immature and impulsive she is. We all know this family is irresponsible with money but this shows it on a larger scale. Kendal is not smart and behaves like a child with no impulse control. Buys whatever she wants without giving it a second thought. As we’ve all said, the well is dry and her spending habits are going to get them in BIG trouble.

6. The margaritaville house…WHY on earth would you tell your kids you are buying a house when that wasn’t even close to the truth? Based on what Kendal said in the last vlog they are still just TALKING about it and it doesn’t sound like they are anywhere close to purchasing. Yet again we see Kendall’s immaturity by telling her kids something that isn’t true for attention or to make herself feel special. And per usual Daniel does NOTHING. He knows it’s wrong but let’s her do it cause he does not have the balls to stand up to her. He’s just as awful as she is.

Regarding Caitlyn, I don’t know how you figured out about her changing teams but I’m pretty sure you’re right. Her and EV aren’t following each other and neither are Cait and the R Life account. Plus EV deleted all the photos of Cait and Gigi on her Instagram. I watched an old video the other day and you’re right about her being at Fire then following EV to Flip. They had offered for Cait to be on a higher level junior team (maybe a J4 or J5) or to be on S3 and I think she chose senior to be with EV. Do you know what went down? It must’ve been a decently big fight/drama for her to up and leave in the middle of the season. I’m glad she saw the light and I hope she’s found some friends that are nicer.

With how close she is with Bella and Kenny being friends with their mom, when EV and Dom break up, it’ll surely be messy. I hope it doesn’t cause Bella and her sisters to leave Flip. They were there first so they should stand their ground. EV came into their gym and caused drama so she should be the one to leave. They’re going to run out of gyms for Kap and Brin at this rate considering they don’t just switch gyms, the burn the bridges with their old ones too.

Do you think EV could be seeing a specialist that they’re embarrassed to talk about like maybe a psychiatrist? I think that’d be good for her and, if it was her first appointment especially, I could see both parents going. My sister dealt with severe mental illness from the time she was a young child so I know the drill lol. I know during the lock down they did a video about mental health and Kenny made it seem like she’s super supportive and open about mental health but I can see her being the type to talk the talk but not walk the walk… she’s supportive until it’s her child then she’s embarrassed to make it public. Regardless, if it is a health issue, I’m glad she’s keeping quiet and I hope she continues with that. These kids don’t need their medical issues exploited on the internet for views.

I got a loan (well, actually a line of credit) when I was 17 which is why I suggested it as an idea but I’m also not American and it could be different in the US. I got a kind of credit made for university students and it was in my name but I was underage so one of my parents had to co-sign it.

They should’ve kept quiet to both the kids (except maybe EV since she’s older) and YouTube about the margaritaville house until it was pretty much set in stone. They do this all the time and you’re right, Daniel is just as bad. They’ve done this a million times like about the bean bag chair; the chair was a much smaller issue but Daniel talked about it forever, probably like 6 months or more, before they actually did it. Maybe they do it because they like the drama it generates but it just makes the look flaky.

You’re right about Caitlyn not being around. She was definitely still a friend on NYE after Evie and Cameron broke up. Since then, no sign of her. Likewise in Eliel’s vlog there was no sign of Evie. They do still comment on tiktoks though.
Recently on one of her tiktoks someone (no clue who) made a comment that ‘everyone in your gym hates you’. Now why would anyone say this unless they had insider knowledge. Gigi definitely isn’t a friend anymore like she used to be. Liani (can’t spell this) is long gone. Rafaelo too. Cameron’s gone …I assume his younger brother also. Remember there was a Mia (she’s in one of Evie’s vlogs). No Dominick in her recent tiktok. This girl definitely has problems with socialization.
I hope for Evie’s sake that Yami is still around. Strange how evie has suddenly latched on to Bella.

Yes this Bella friendship is definitely very new- obviously, no matter how much Kendal wants to say they are “really close”.

Her friendships are a revolving door and it’s really quite sad. Those kids haven’t gotten proper socialization for one but EV’s parents also let her get away with being bratty and who wants to stick around with a friend like that? I feel bad for her but I also don’t lol. I don’t blame her friends for dipping out. I hope Yami is still around too; she seems like a genuinely nice person so in a way, I don’t get how they’ve stayed friends other than opposites attracting? If you lose a friend here and there, that’s normal, but when you’re constantly losing friends, it’s you that’s the problem, not them. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the whole gym hates her, she probably walks around like she owns the place being a diva, that’s how it comes across on her TikTok. Even the whole back pain saga could’ve annoyed people. Brin had a fracture and complained way less, we barely heard about her pain, and still did cheer and everything yet at the same time, EV had no visible injury on any test they had done but she talked about her pain constantly. Drama follows EV because she is drama. I hope Brin and Kap don’t follow in her footsteps. Jaylyn and Madi seem like sweet girls and good influences on B&K and I hope they don’t end up losing them.

1- absolutely they treat both there dogs and kids horrible. They treat clover like a stufft animal.

2- Just thought of this. May be completely off, but I had to share. Could it have been a therapist appointment? Think about it. Although I DOUBT K&D would take her to one, it’s possible. Maybe the therapist told her that it was K&Ds fault for all her trauma? But they probably could have done that in Wellington which leaves me curious. I do think driver’s license could be a strong possibility, but I just don’t see them not making a huge video about that. Maybe it was going to settle drama with Cams fam? Maybe they went to go meet up with them and some counselor and that’s what they mean by “hard things.”

3-does anyone know what happened with Elliel? He seems like such a good person. I noticed he mentioned being gay in a tiktok. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kenny is not ok with that and that’s why they aren’t close.

Thanks for always filling me in on what’s up in the US . Yeah, unfortunately here it doesn’t always work that way either. Sometimes people see a therapist first then they’re sent to a psychiatrist because the therapist believes they’d benefit from more thorough diagnostics and medication. The system is HUGELY lacking but that’s a topic for another day (or I guess thread )

Random, but I’ve been noticing a lot of people commenting praising Sebi for taking such good care of Hampton like always buckling his seatbelt or making him lunch. That dynamic makes me so sad because, in my opinion, it’s likely not Sebi’s choice, it’s probably expected of him. I know they aren’t fundies anymore but that’s how fundies work: the parents raise the oldest kid then the oldest raises the other kids and sometimes shares the baton with other siblings who take care of their younger siblings. When they lived in NC, it seemed like EV was basically a sister wife to Kenny. There was many videos where, on weekdays when Daniel was working, qKenny was laid up in bed all day with a migraine and EV was expected to do all the care for the kids as well as being their “teacher” for homeschooling. EV was no more than 12 or 13 years old but had the responsibilities of an adult. Now it appears to me that the same thing is happening with Sebi. He is *always* grouped together with Hampton; often, wherever Hampton goes, Sebi does too. It falls on Sebi likely because I think they’d say the girls are too busy with cheer but we also know Kenny wants buddies to lay in bed all day with to binge watch TV together and filming tiktoks. I don’t think it’s an expectation that’s voiced to Sebi like “you need to take care of Hampton”, I think it’s just expected of him and he can feel that pressure.

All in all, kids should never have to raise their siblings. Yes, it’s fine for them to help out here and there but they shouldn’t be the primary person parenting their siblings. They did choose to get pregnant and have kids, their parents did, so the parents need to take responsibility and be parents, not friends, to their children. Kids should be free to be kids, not be weighed down by heavy expectations on their shoulders. Childhood is one of the only times in life where you’re free to just play and explore and don’t yet have the various pressures like politics, bills, money, etc. on their plate. Let kids enjoy being kids, they have the rest of their life to be adults!

I was so upset that Hampton didn’t get an order of fries in one of the latest videos. All the other kids got their meal with fries but no one thought to also add fries to Hampton’s order. Only Sebi offered to share his. The girls didn’t even offer and they are truly mean girls.

Makes me so mad!! Clearly he didn’t communicate that he wanted fries too and they know he loves fries why didn’t they add fries for him!!! It’s little shit like this too that pisses me off - like ordering one Starbucks drink for delivery. There is no way these kids would make it in a college with other dorm kids. They have no clue how to share, caring, or be respectful to others.

I think the psychiatrist/ therapist is a highly probable reason they were out with Evie an an appointment where it was bad news.
I’ve been trying to think of other things it could be, and I am not from the US but I wondered if a guidance counsellor/ careers advisor or something along those lines could also be a possibility. Say Evie is now into this whole “being a therapist” thing- there’s recently been lots of chat about what job she might have- whether that be part time retail work and this idea that came up randomly lol. Kendal gets too involved in an unhealthy way- not like a supportive way but more like she expects a say in the decision and kind of like she tries to mould her or put ideas in her head. We see her do this generally with all her kids, but we’ve seen it with the part time work recently too when she was being judgemental of the places Evie has applied. And even at WPB it came up again talking about the cute retail places she could work at and maybe she’d like to live by there. It’s always Kendal who says it and Evie who agrees. Weird. So I wonder if they went to talk about what Evie would have to do to become a therapist and she got bad news like, your grades aren’t high enough.. you need to do this, this and this etc.

Or another thing… modelling. Are there any modelling agencies based in that area that they perhaps met with or even an acting one. We all know they seemed into Evie being a model when she was doing the shoots with varsity and Kendal kind of eluded once that Evie wants to do more…. We know she isn’t tall enough for fashion modelling, and whole pretty she doesn’t have that stand out unique kind of look. Perhaps it was an agency appointment and she didn’t get good feedback/ wasn’t signed. And yes- they do have this expectation that their kids look after each other. Daniel constantly praises All of them if they make food for someone else or even for themselves. He struggles with cooking and as much as they’re trying to show Kendal being in the kitchen more- I don’t buy it.
Kapri cleaning up Evie’s room, sebi being responsible for Hampton… even for the longest time we’ve seen that they get Sebi to translate for Hampton as he’s the one who can understand him best and it also seems like when Hampton doesn’t want to share something they get him to tell Sebi who helps him with that.

To tell ya the truth, when I saw Evie’s dressed as if she rolled out of bed during that segment at the beach, I thought maybe they went to see a lawyer about something Evie did. That was my first thought. Clearly it was serious enough to not have the other kids tag along.

I was so upset that Hampton didn’t get an order of fries in one of the latest videos. All the other kids got their meal with fries but no one thought to also add fries to Hampton’s order. Only Sebi offered to share his. The girls didn’t even offer and they are truly mean girls.

Makes me so mad!! Clearly he didn’t communicate that he wanted fries too and they know he loves fries why didn’t they add fries for him!!! It’s little shit like this too that pisses me off - like ordering one Starbucks drink for delivery. There is no way these kids would make it in a college with other dorm kids. They have no clue how to share, caring, or be respectful to others.

The fries scene was really sad because Hampton looked so sad too. We all know he loves fries, they should too. As we’ve all said a lot, they have such a weird family dynamic. When they do the “secret santa” gift exchanges for whatever holiday, it shows that their relationships are so surface level. They know what their favourite candy is but they don’t know what grade their sibling are in. They know what pop to buy but they don’t know each other’s aspirations. Such surface level relationships which is sad for a family who’s always together. Regardless, knowing Hampton likes fries is surface level and they should’ve known that he’s want some.

I’m not surprised only Sebi gave him some. I haven’t figured it out yet but this family has the WEIRDEST food habits like hiding food, closet eating, all sorts of weird habit. Not only that but they’re incredibly possessive and stingy with food and don’t like to share. I don’t know what has led to this but they all definitely have disordered eating habits

You’re spot on! Living in residence, there was so much sharing and caring and a lot more responsibility than being at home. Their parents have done them a humongous disservice by homeschooling and stunting their growth when it comes to socialization, academics, maturity, and so on.

Why the hell wasn’t kendal having the girls share equally? They’re the ones always ordering all of this sh** without including their other siblings. (And evie doesn’t even tell kendal half the time) Does she not see all of her kids as equal in deserving ?? I think the girls DEFINITELY learned their stinginess with food from kendal who buys expensive gourmet fruit packages from Whole Foods and literally bans her kids from eating them while getting them cheap sh** food from Walmart...if their only sheltered example is Kendal, are we really shocked they don’t share?? I sure ain’t but it’s sad either way
