Evie deleted a ton of pictures off of her Instagram feed and there’s no more photos of Yami on there which there was in the past. She did the same thing when her and Cam broke up. You can tell because Evie only has 49 posts on her Instagram which she has had since at least 2018. Evie did a big purge after being chosen for the modeling thing and seems to have done it again recently. Now, all her photos are only herself or her with family or famous people. It makes sense that that Harlow is a tween with the comments they’ve been making! Kids at that age often don’t have a filter and don’t realize they’re making themselves look like an ass on social media. However, it does okay in our favour because they’re giving us hints on what might be going on.
I noticed on EV’s tiktok, there’s a video of her in the car and her friend Ruby is driving; I’m pretty sure it’s Ruby’s car. I know many people mentioned on here that it seemed EV could be using Yami for her car/as her taxi so, now that she has Ruby, I guess she doesn’t need Yami anymore.
The relationship between EV and Yami seemed to be experienced very differently by both of them. I think, to EV, Yami was her number one and definitely her whole world. When they became friends, EV latched on very quickly as she does and got very close very fast, also as she always does). Her relationship with Yami almost started to border on obsession in my opinion. She started dying her hair dark, getting tanned more often, shopping at Hollister (which she always hated before), wearing a white baseball cap (or just one in general), all these things to make herself look like Yami in addition to dressing like her. EV even wanted to get the same random Nissan Yami has. They were close enough that she chose Yami to go on her birthday trip with her mom and that they dressed like twins on purpose. There was also many pictures of them on EV’s insta before she went and deleted everything recently.
Now, on the other hand, there was very few photos, if any, of EV on Yami’s Instagram. Same thing with tiktok, Yami very present on EV’s but EV rarely present on Yami’s. From what we see on video, Yami seems like a nice, polite girl and, because of that, she just reciprocated EV’s affection when they were together as to not hurt her feeling; she seems like she may be the people pleaser type so she would do the BFF thing with EV. Yami’s social media shows that she has a lot of friends, she seemed to have a big group she hung out with often.
All in all, my armchair opinion is that, for EV, Yami was her one and only, but, for Yami, EV was one of many. The relationship was much closer in EV’s POV than Yami’s.
But who deleted posts? Evie deleted pictures of Yami or Yami of Evie? And who is Ruby? I’ve never heard of her before. Another new friend?
Ruby has been in a couple vlogs! She’s a member of Evie’s cheer team I believe. If I find the vlogs she’s in, I’ll share them here but I can’t remember of the top of my head. There was one recently where Evie and Ruby were in Ruby’s car in a parking lot at a park and they were ordering food to them at the park. I can’t remember exactly what was going on in the other video I can think of but I know they were in Ruby’s car then too. Ruby seems to maybe be part of Evie’s new “clique” with Bella.
