A two year tumbling block seems excessive. I’ve had blocks myself and have had gymnasts with blocks but all were overcome within weeks. Not years. But I suppose it depends on how much effort the coach is prepared to put in to helping the gymnast. Likewise, it also depends on how mentally strong the gymnast is. But Kendal was right about one thing…the gymnast (or cheerleader) needs to force herself to do the skills even if they’re scary.

I was literally just about to ask you about this because I knew you’d know. It seems like Brin’s mental blocks are extreme. I’ve seldom heard of cheerleaders that have mental blocks lashing years, I thought it was usually like a week thing like you mentioned. I’m feeling as though FC is just too much for Brin and she’s so stressed over cheer and I think that may manifest as her mental blocks. Kendal is right, some teams will have you even if you can’t tumble but that’s not commonplace. For example, Gabi Fuller, one of the best flyers in the sport (she flies center for team OO at Top Gun - highly recommend watching one of their routines) but she’s an amazing flyer, does great in the dance portion, great jumps, but a giant mental block she’s had forever which, no, isn’t normal. The difference between Gabi and Brin is that Gabi brings A LOT to the table even without tumbling but Brin doesn’t have one thing she is amazing at, she’s good or okay depending on the part of the routine. Top Gun Miami, I believe, has a non-tumbling team. Maybe they’d be bettern” for Brin then she could work her mental block on her own team but without feeling like she’s holding the team back:

Or she truly believes they should have the skills solidly first (also with her supporting brin wanting to stay on level 2), but she simply can’t hold that logical advice for Evie because Evie has barely made any progress and she wants to show that she’s better than people say she is. Like to prove a point.

Hmm… either way something doesn’t add up with Kendals logic.

In kendals recent question and answer session on Instagram yesterday, she was asked what teams the girls want to be on.
So brin still wants to stay in twisters- I hope if she does stay on there it’s not because of a lack of her own ability to go for a level 3 team- afterall she has the skills evie had this time last year who got on a level 3 team. I think this is a great theory too! I think that Brin wants to stay on Twisters because she didn’t tumble on the team this year and wants a second chance to be able to tumble. I know that they said that right now, she basically only has a back handspring.

Kapri most definitely has more skills than EV. At the beginning of the season, EV had a back tuck going into it but it wasn’t solid, it was pretty iffy whether she’d land or not. Over the season, it seems like all EV improved on was her back tuck yet Kapri learned way more skills and is now more advanced than EV.

I also agree that it’s likely Kenny doesn’t want Kap to surpass the golden child. Do they even have a senior 4? I don’t remember seeing one. If I’m correct and there is no senior 4, all that leaves EV is S3, her current team, or S5 and she definitely doesn’t have the tumbling for S5. She would need a full for level 5 but doesn’t even have a layout yet. I think she needs to stay in level 3 but I can see her getting moved up just to avoid the wrath of the Wicked Witch. Kap on the other hand, if EV gets on a level 4, Kapri should too considering her more advanced tumbling. Again, I think there’s only J2, J3, and J6. Kap has what she needs for level 3 but if EV’s beginning of the season tumbling was level 3 worthy, Kap should be in a higher division. I honestly think Kap could have a shot at J6 if she had good jumps. I don’t want to be mean but her jumps are pretty bad. Other than that, she seems to keep up and is improving her tumbling quickly so could get the tumbling needed for J6 by the end of the season.

Team placements is going to be a shit show and I’m popping the popcorn, ready and excited to watch this go down.

But can’t an S4 team be created? There must be some kids on J4 or Y4 who will age out of junior/youth while some of the current S3 people have improved enough to move to a level 4 team? Then there would be enough in total to make an S4 team.

On her IG stories today Kendal says there are 60 teams in brinley’s team’s division. I counted 27 J2 small teams divided into an A and B category which compete on friday. And then there are two groups of finalists which compete on Sunday. One group has 15 and one group has 17. I still can’t make 60 teams. Surely some of those who compete on Friday and qualify will compete again on Sunday. Kendal wasn’t joking when she said that maths was a terrible subject for her.

As for Evie’s team. I can’t remember if they are senior 3 coed small or medium (I think medium) but either way, each category has a maximum of 8 teams.

On her stories today she again was smacking her lips. She tries to put on this stupid sweet innocent act on her IG stories…appealing to all those little girls who want a mother as a best friend. I would love to tell all these young followers that having Kendal as a mother shouldn’t be a benchmark for mothering levels. It doesn’t matter if she buys them Starbucks and cries over backhandsprings.

I haven’t even watched the whole new vlog yet and I lésas have so many ~feelings~

1. Poor Sebi being forced into cheerleading like his sisters. When Kenny mentioned at first about him going to tumbling class, I thought it was him that wanted to do it but they made it pretty clear it was KD forcing him into it. Just let him be his own person!!!!! I’m sure that they made it seem like his choice but pressured him into the answer Kenny wanted like when she brought the girls on a girls trip. I’m also sure that he possibly would agree just to get a little piece of the attention the girls get. He seemed super embarrassed about it though. Sad

2. I love how over vlogging and Kenny’s antics Brin is. It makes me laugh because she’s just so over it and it’s super obvious. I don’t blame her; if I was being called downstairs all the time while I’m trying to do school just to be measured for content, I’d be annoyed as heck too.

3. Just going to preface this with the fact that I’m a certified dog trainer and also that I’m not putting down Hampton with this comment, this has nothing to do with him and everything to do with KD. When they were showing Clover’s tricks… those aren’t tricks, they’re just her following the food. It would be great if they’d actually progress to her knowing these commands but I highly doubt it. Once you get them off following the food, then it’s a trick. Right now, she’s just using her nose. They’ve done so little with her, I mean she wasn’t even house trained at a year old which is ridiculous. Cavaliers are a very smart breed and you can teach them a ton of stuff yet she doesn’t know the very basics and still darts onto the road constantly. It would be a great confidence builder for Hampton to actually work with her but they know so little about dogs, the best way to do that would be to bring in trainer to teach them how to teach Clover and we know that if they won’t pay for Hampton’s therapies, they certainly won’t pay for that. The saddest part is when they gave her the toy, she had no idea how to play with it. That demonstrates how little they actually do with her. Dogs aren’t born knowing how to play with toys; there was no toys in the wild way back so there’s no instinct to do it. They know how to play with other dogs (but even dogs that haven’t been socialized don’t know how to play properly because they learn “the rules” by playing and being “corrected” by other dogs) but toys are definitely a learned thing. Clover is also quite overweight. They really need to step back with feeding her table scraps and treats. Anytime they show them giving her treats, they’re massive. When I train my dog who is larger than Clover, probably double what she would weigh at a healthy weight, I break the treats up into ones no bigger than like my thumb nail. Treats are high calorie and they don’t need a giant treat to feel satisfied. If you’re feeding a dog a lot of treats, you need to scale back appropriately on their kibble to account for the extra calories.

4. What is all this Stoney Clover stuff? When I saw it in the title, I thought they were talking about Clover being stoned like when you give a cat catnip for example LOL. The amount of useless stuff they bought was mind blowing. They are spending like they have a second income but Daniel doesn’t have another job yet. They’re going to screw themselves over financially doing this because there’s no guarantees he’ll even get a job or that they’ll be able to buy a franchise. A very basic rule to have good finances: don’t spend the money before you have it!

5. Speaking of franchises, I find it funny that they would expect to have heard back already. I’m sure that Crumbl corporate gets tons of applications they need to sort through. Just because you have a million subscribers on YouTube doesn’t mean your application will get processed sooner. The nerve of Kenny to message them on Instagram… whenever people call her a celebrity, she says that they’re far from it but she acts and expects to be treated like a celebrity. No, the PR person who runs the Instagram has nothing to do with who processes applications. That’s two completely different roles in a corporations head office. I don’t know how they’ll afford it anyways. Kenny said that she thinks a crumbl would do well in their area but there’s clearly already one in their area or else how would they be buying it every week? Where it’s more of a “specialty” restaurant, I don’t think they would want two stores so close to each other.

6. It bothers me that anytime Kendal loses things like the camera or her wallet, she can’t take accountability for it and blames it on all these terrible people who just steal constantly. Come off of it! If she left in the the cart, it’s very possible that the staff who return the carts never saw it. For all we know, it might have fallen out of the cart in the parking lot and was under someone’s car or something. Things can just get lost, it happens.

7. How does Kapri go out of the house and forget shoes? Wouldn’t you notice when you walk out of the house? I’m a wheelchair user so my feet rarely touch the ground and I would never forget to put shoes on before going out. The fact it was a pet store that Kap went into with just socks on is icky. The floors of a pet store are probably some of the dirtiest floors out there with all the animals and people constantly in and out. I hope to god she took them off as soon as she got home and put them in the hamper. Doing things like this is a great way to bring home different illnesses to your dog like parvo and kennel cough. Considering their anti-vax stance, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re part of the anti-vax dog trend so, if she isn’t vaccinated and gets something like parvovirus, it would likely kill her.

Ugh. For some reason, on a scale of 1 to 10, they annoyed me to an 11 today. Maybe I’m just in an extra crabby mood LOL but people not treating their dogs properly really gets me fired up.

I haven’t done the math but their may be more teams then appears directly although I’m confident your math is more accurate than Kenny’s. The people who got wild card bids will compete Friday. The highest scoring teams will go onto to Saturday. On Saturday, the wildcard teams that move on will compete against the people who got at large, partial paid, and fully paid bids. Then the teams with the highest Saturday scores will move onto Sunday finals. Because the FC teams only got wildcard bids, they’ll need to compete Friday first. With the junior teams, because there’s so many and they’re divided in A and B divisions, it’s almost like two different divisions.

EV is medium. I’d honestly be shocked if they make it past day 2. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t even make it past day 1 unless they’re able to move on because of the size of their division which is possible.

It’s weirds me out that Kendal has 3 DRASTICALLY different personalities based on if she’s on YouTube, Tiktok, or Instagram. When Kenny says she looks forward to being able to film whatever she wants, I think she really means that she can be the controversial republican that she acts like on tiktok. On Instagram, like you said, she’s super soft spoken and acts like this amazing mother. It’s sad that these teens want this and don’t see through it. Most moms give their kids unconditional love; in the Rich home, it’s comes across as super conditional, you’re only getting love and attention when you do something worthy of it.

Had to laugh at Brinley’s disinterest at being measured. She certainly seems taller than she actually is. I always assumed she was very tall but actually she’s only 2 inches taller than my 14 year old who I always considered to be the short kid in our family.

Anyway, I don’t really have an issue with Sebi doing tumbling. Obviously I’m an advocate for anything to do with gymnastics. It’s an amazing sport, even at recreational level, to help a kid with coordination, speed, confidence and agility. I just hope he is going because he wants to and not because he’s being forced. My question however is why Hampton isn’t going too. A coach should be able to work with kids of all abilities, especially at beginner level. And most gyms would have a ‘disabilities’ program. Why doesn’t he get to go too?

lol I had this exact thought. Kendal lost her camera because she’s a dope and instead of being an adult and looking for it, she orders Daniel to do it? She always makes Daniel do anything and everything that she’s too lazy or stupid to do herself. Why doesn’t Daniel say no? Why do they operate like this? It’s so bizarre. Her damsel in distress schtick is so annoying.

Another Target haul where they bought a bunch of useless junk. Probably spent over $100…idiots

Kendal and Daniel whining because Crumbl has yet to respond after a whole week just shows how dumb they are. This is not a retail job where they can assess applications within a few minutes. This process is lengthy and thorough and requires A LOT of vetting by Crumbl. The fact they think they can just apply and they’ll hear back within a few days and then they’ll be on their way to being owners is SO ridiculously stupid of them. They will never own a Crumbl or any franchise and even if they did they would NEVER be successful. Kendal has zero work ethic and she can barely handle looking for a lost camera at target. How’s she going to handle real business problems? Daniel is not the business savant they think he is.

I believe it’s BS and Daniel is just applying for a $60k manager position so they can say they own it and hire Evie and underaged Brin and Kapri. Didn’t he flaunt that he would hire them? One of the criteria’s to be a franchise owner is that you have a local interest in your community that the franchise is in. Well, any info would reveal that the neighbors hate them so there is that.

Don’t get me wrong, I 100% support Sebi doing tumbling if *he* wants to do it but, from the clips of them talking about it, it didn’t come across as though it was him that wanted to do it. He seemed really embarrassed about the idea of going which I can understand regardless of if it was him or his parents just because cheer is typically considered a “girl sport” which is dumb but Sebi has always been SUPER resistant of anything that could be considered “girly”. I can also see him agreeing to do it just so he can get attention and praise from his parents which is sad if that’s the case.

Hampton doesn’t get to do anything. They use his disabilities as an excuse to not try because they just expect him to fail which is seriously stunting his development. You don’t just assume someone with disabilities can’t do it, try and see what happens so you don’t limit the person unnecessarily. I think Hampton could benefit HUGELY from tumbling (or really any sport or activity) both physically and mentally. Hampton is very clearly hypermobile and the best way to protect hypermobile joints is to build up the muscles surrounding them. For those unfamiliar with hypermobility, it’s different than flexibility - flexibility is about muscles but hypermobility is ligaments that are too stretchy that they allow an excessive range of motion which can cause pain and dislocations. It’s often referred as being double jointed which is a misnomer but anyway. Anything that would allow Hampton to build muscle and prevent joint damage would be huge for his health long term. It’s also clear that he has really poor proprioception which is your awareness of your body in space. You can see this by him not being able to do the arms and legs of a jumping jack at the same time. Tumbling would definitely require a lot of body awareness to do those skills so it would help him on that front too. Plus just giving him goals to work towards and eventually succeed at would be a big confidence builder!

TLDR; This ended up being a novel like always so, to summarize, I think tumbling is great and has lots of benefits and I’m fully supportive of Sebi doing it if it’s his decision and that the decision isn’t just to get a slice of the attention to girls get. Also totally agree with Glass that Hampton should be going too and it would be great for him.

I get it, typos happen - reading back on some of my posts, there’s always a few typos in there - but these aren’t typos… typos aren’t spelling most of the word wrong and making these mistakes consistently.
