Evie is advancing to the finals too….. came third also. Out of 3 though! Her score lower than Brinley’s team and of course they went into it knowing they’d go through.
At least Brinley had competition and made it.

Congrats Brin on a big win! Evie’s win was handed to her. I was so mad at Kendal talking down to Brin after their performance I am so happy she is advancing. And Brin you were 100% correct Evie made it 3rd out of 3 and automatically goes to the next round. You suck Kendal for making it a bigger deal than it was instead of waiting for other people to tell you how good Brin was.

I found this really annoying too- she seemed so disappointed in Brinleys teams performance after it happened and showed this very clearly to Brinley and everyone else.
She raves about Evie’s even before she saw their score… of course. She’s evie. AND she knew going on that they’d get at least “third” place and advance. Lol

For starters, Brinleys team actually scored better than Evie’s even with their deduction. And not only were they third out of 13, if you look at the other group in their division, it’s only the first place team that scored higher than Brinleys team and the 2 teams above them. So I’m actual fact- out of the junior level 2 medium 28 teams who competed, if they all competed together Brinleys team still came 4th! 3rd out of 13 but also 4th out of 28. I hope Brinley and her team are proud of themselves because clearly Brinleys family are not.

Also I thought they were “completely changing Evie’s routine”? I know we didn’t see it all before but we had seen clips and I don’t really see that it’s changed much. Ofc I’m sure it has been changed but it’s very similar for sure.
And I wasn’t impressed. Ofc it will have more impressive stunts than Brinleys level 2 junior team but to me they seemed to be very similar in terms of level and ability. Plus evie looks to be hidden in the back most of the time - barely saw her, but was able to see Brinley In her routine a lot and I was pleased to see she was having fun- genuine smiles during the dance etc.

Probably Hampton doesn’t know how unfulfilled his life is Daniel and Kendal are setting themselves up for having an adult living with them for the rest of their lives and this adult will be unable to communicate with them and unable to be left alone.

Also it seems Hampton was left home with Daniel’s parents for summit weekend. Did he explicitly say he didn’t want to come or is it simply too much effort for them to take him along?

I was also annoyed that Kenny was so quick to be all "That was her last performance" and write that all off. Yeah, it wasn't great, but they weren't as bad as Kenny made them seem! She should have been trying to boost Brinley up. not make her feel down about it!

Evie's group some things looked different.. or maybe they weren't shown before? I wasn't "wowed" by it, like Kenny made it seem like we were going to be, is all I know. Btw.. does anyone have any clue why the two boys in Evie's group wearing different pants? And wouldn't that be some sort of a deduction?

Hampton looks SO sad and it makes me sad. He used to spend a lot more time with KD and the other kids and would be dancing and laughing and now he’s never with them in the vlogs, usually on the couch playing video games. When he is with them, they barely acknowledge him or talk like he’s not there and he just sits there quietly looking sad. He seems to understand way more than they give him credit for. It seems as though they assume that his thoughts are like his speech, incomplete, but he could have normal cognition for all we know and have full complete thoughts, views, and emotions but just can’t use worlds to express them. It’s seems like the light he had within himself has gone out and I feel the same way about Brin; what used to be happy kids now seem miserable and sad.

It’s okay for us to have different opinions on this but I’ll quickly explain what I saw

In the first clip, instead of letting Clover move from a sit to a down to a stand on her own, Kap has her hand on her back/shoulders or under her belly, pushing or lifting her into position instead of letting her move on her own. This is highly frowned upon in the dog world because it does more damage than good. You can really hurt a dog by pushing on its back like this plus dogs need to move on their own into the different positions to learn these tricks; they need to activate their muscles and build muscle memory, forcing them into position doesn’t do anything but potentially hurt them.

In the second clip, instead of explaining to Hampton to put his head against the wall or stand up straight, they grab and move him into position, not asking his consent or even letting him try before they just force him into position, just like Kap did with the dog. They actually push his head into the wall at one point. In my opinion, this isn’t acceptable at all, especially without consent. If they would’ve said “hey bones! Can I help you get into the right position?” And he said yes, I wouldn’t think anything of it but putting their hands on him and pushing him into standing properly is not acceptable in my opinion but this is just my opinion, you’re free to disagree!

One of the gyms in my own city has a worlds team and we don’t even live in the US. Now, I wonder what they’ll do; will they maintain their opinions that Flip is best and a “perfect gym” according to Kenny or will they move onto another gym hoping to bring home more wins? They’re “gym hoppers” and them leaving would surprise me even if Kap is happy there

I definitely don’t know the rules inside and out but I’ll answer this the best I can! Worlds is what most cheerleaders aspire to but a large part won’t even get to that level because, like every sport, not everyone can be at the highest level. Worlds teams are levels 6 and 7 and only senior (roughly ages 12-18 depending on birthdays) or open teams (age 13+). “World champion” is a bit of a misnomer because they have all the normal divisions (senior level 6 small, medium, and so on) then they have the “global” divisons that are basically the same except teams from other countries can compete but only in global. Levels 6 and up can do up to a double full, that’s the most advanced tumbling skill and I think it’s the same for level 7. They can do more advanced stunts, baskets, and pyramids like being able to do more twists in these skills. Level 7 is the only level that you can have a pyramid that is 3 people high. Worlds is the weekend before summit at ESPN in disney and it’s ran by varsity too. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure worlds has been around much longer and then they made a version of it for the lower levels/age divisions. They compete just like the other levels and have to earn a bid to worlds which I think is harder to do. For nationals versus summit, some different “brands” of cheer competitions host their own nationals which are usually smaller than summit. Some of these brands hand out bids at non-national competitions to go to their nationals but some you can just sign up for like a normal competition. Summit is basically considered the most prestigious for the levels that compete there probably because varsity made it. I’m not 100% sure why but I heard that some gyms are essentially boycotting summit and going to another nationals instead.

And yes Kenny, the vehicle was moving, it’s obvious in this clip and no, you clearly didn’t tell her to put her seatbelt on because in the whole long clip filmed over the drive, her seatbelt was off the whole time. Clearly the Riches don’t care but if you want to be the “realest”, don’t lie about caring if the kids wear seatbelts. What will it take for them to actually wear seatbelts?! God forbid someone get hurt in an accident. If the drivers in SOUTH Florida are so bad, why isn’t this important to them?

It’s really stupid, especially the younger kids. The less you weigh, the easier it is for you to go flying through the windshield in an accident. I just don’t understand… why *not* wear it? What’s the downside? It’s not like a mask where some people feel claustrophobic or whatever. This frustrates me so much. Take care of your kids please KD!!!!!
