I just ‘watched’ it. But I skipped over all the overly dramatic head injury part for many reasons….the main one being, I’ve seen it all before. They already made at least two videos about this. And talked at length about it on IG and in other vlogs. I do not have any interest in watching it again.
Kendal admits to never going out or going anywhere and only sitting on her sofa. She must realise it’s because no one invites her unless they have to. Otherwise the video was boring and just about buying shoes.

I watched the vlog a bit ago.. and I was just as annoyed as I was when it happened. I don't understand why Kenny didn't go and comfort Kapri! Why was it just Danny (like always when a child is hurt or sick normally, unless it has to do with cheer) and Evie?! When I was that young, heck.. even now.. I want my Mom to comfort me! Kenny should have gone, and Evie should have watched the rest of the kids! I don't care if Kenny has a problem with blood/guts or whatever the issue was.. it's your scared hurt child!!!!! Other than that, quit bringing it back up just to get views.. using something traumatic that happened to your little girl, to try and get people to click on your video, is tasteless!

Round of applause for this post as you read my mind exactly .

I can’t believe (well, I guess I can, I won’t put anything past the Riches these days) that their using that video of Kapri for at least the third time! Get over it. This is *child exploitation* at its finest. It’s one thing to film your kid on a regular day for YouTube (still exploitation) but using this footage over and over of Kap’s probably most traumatic incident of her life thus far is GROSS. They’re just desperate for views and their desperation is getting more and more obvious. I’m glad you thought the car scene was ridiculous too. It was so obviously “scripted”. Neither of them will be winning Oscars for that performance .

The whole Kapri incident really bothers me in many ways. Why was Kenny sitting on her ass in a hotel room while her eldest daughter took care of Kap. It was you who wanted to have kids Kenny, not EV, so it’s up to YOU to raise them. You should’ve been there in that traumatic incident. Most of us all want our moms when we’re sick or hurt no matter what age. EV could’ve watched the other kids. She was running the household at like 12 years old in NC when Kenny was “in the bed” with a migraine (I’ve never heard people word it that way other than them, I would just simply say “in bed”). Danny would be at work so EV would end up homeschooling them, making them lunch, getting them dressed, etc. Saying all this, I wonder if that’s part of why EV is so immature for her age; she was forced to act older than her age as a kid so maybe now she’s making up for the time she lost. Anyways, back on topic, I understood why Kap was allowed to sit on EV’s lap on the way to the hospital but, on the way back to the hotel, she should’ve been sitting on her own so her and EV could be safe and wear seatbelts but we all know they don’t care about that. Imagine if they would’ve gotten in a car accident with EV and Kap sitting together like that. It would’ve had a BAD outcome. Then, when they got back, they had EV carrying Kap from the car up to the hotel room. What the heck. Kap may have felt weak from the blood loss but that should’ve been Danny carrying her but he was too focused on vlogging. Neither of these people act like caring loving parents that’s for sure.

What I find funny is Kenny says all the time that, when the kids have something medical going on, it’s always her that brings them but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I can’t think of one medical appointment she went to other than Brin getting her teeth pulled a few months ago. Every other trip to doctors, physio, dentists, etc. is almost always Danny boy. I don’t know why she continues to lie about this.

The thing with the feet, I agree completely. Kids can’t consent to being on YouTube so if you’re going to exploit them without their consent, considering they’re the only reason KD make money on YouTube in the first place, if they ask you not to film them, DON’T. I really don’t understand why EV and the girls are so weird about their feet, they’ve been like that for years where they were much too young that they shouldn’t have known what a foot fetish is. What happened to make them so freaked out about it? It’s just kinda odd.

Lastly, this vlog was so boring and pointless. It was 15 minutes but spent like 10 minutes on replaying Kapri’s injury then like 5 minutes of new content. It’s the exact same as all their vlogs have been lately, totally predictable: starts with Kapri and Kenny in the car going shopping, they buy things, they come home and show us. They only talk about shoes and dresses. Kenny pretends she doesn’t like dressing up and going out but that’s probably because she has no friends and no job thus never gets invited to anything. I’m sure she loves the idea of dressing up in formal attire and taking pictures with the other long-fake-blonde-haired-botoxed-lip-injected-thin-white-rich west palm beach moms. Anything to make her look rich and living her best life. All in all, nothing even happened in this vlog!!!! It was a complete waste of 15 minutes lol.

In reality….

The franchise had a zoom meeting with all potential franchisees from all over. Sounds like it was an open invitation and not all that exclusive. Then she went on about having to sign important papers and things are moving and they have to prepare a franchise disclosure form as if that was a big important document. No it’s not, it’s just a way for the company to weed out idiots like these two. It’s not a contract or promise.

I am so confused by the whole thing. Were they lying in bed one night worrying about money and then one of them got hungry and thought….I know what…let’s open a cookie franchise. They SEEM (I say ‘seem’ because we have no idea what goes on in their minds and off camera) to have just plucked this idea from the sky and immediately told their subscribers…just like they did when they said they were adopting again, when they said they were buying a holiday home, when they said they would be flipping properties by the end of the year….they appear to be a couple who think of an idea but never think it through. Where is this Margaritaville home? It was over a month ago that they went to the resort and told us they could have a property by the next week.

Owning a franchise is expensive and labour intensive. If it wasn’t everyone would own one! I wont judge their ability or inability to run a franchise because we only know the family we see on camera. But obviously they are risk takers. Otherwise they wouldn't have moved to florida, made daniel quit his job to work on YT vlogs, adopted a baby without realising he had special needs, put their kids in an expensive sport, bought a home despite having no stable regular income. I guess they must have the “no risk no fun” attitude. It’ll be very interested to see what comes of this franchise and just how much money and work they need to invest themselves. And if they have staying power or if they’ll quit before they ever open the doors of the new franchise.

I knew EV would move up because Kenny kept saying it, assuming coach Michael told her. I also knew she wouldn’t make level 5 like she wanted. She supposedly has her tumbling for level 4 but it’s different throwing a pass at the gym during practice than throwing it in the middle of an exhausting routine. We’ll see how this goes.

Glad Kap moved up! Was hoping she’d get level 4 too just to challenge EV’s role as “the best cheerleader” in the family according to Kenny.

Twisters who Brin hoped to be on is a Junior Prep this year so she most likely wasn’t placed there but the lowest level junior team they have is Suns level 3 so I’m assuming that was the team she made.

Interestingly, the beloved Lady Canes got changed down to a level 5 from level 6 last season. Also Blackout their senior level 5 was moved to a level 6 so they can have a worlds team. I think the division their in, X-Small senior coed 6, is one of the least competitive worlds divisions.

My husband’s friend went with his friend to watch Worlds in Orlando this year. His friend’s daughter was on a team. I saw the routine and could see it was level 2. How is level 2 at worlds? The looked no better than Brinleys team.
I wonder if Sebi made a team. Adriana, kendals friends daughter from Cougars made Youth 3 elite at Palm Beach Lightening. Does the word Elite change anything in terms of competition for this team?

You know what seems really sad about Kendal not wanting to get dressed up and leave the house? I don't even think that the woman celebrates holidays. They kinda sit around on Christmas and watch TV. No one cooks anything. Kendal is anti-Easter basket. Father's day crafts? Pffff. Even really low commitment patriotic holidays that involve going to a parade and putting a flag out are things that they don't do. Have those kids even been to a real parade outside of Disney? Do you think they've ever seen a fireworks show outside of Disney? I mean, that's a whole genre of childhood memories that those kids will never have.

As for Kendal getting a minimum wage job, what do you really think she could offer an employer even at a low wage? She's highly anxious so she couldn't work anywhere fast paced. You also don't want her working anywhere with people. So what would you do, put her in a back room somewhere? You can't have her doing inventories or pricing things because her literacy level is in doubt. I think what's left is folding clothes or cleaning toilets. Seriously, how would she be of any value to any employer and what could she do that wouldn't make her coworkers push to get her fired?

While I love that someone made them sound like a couple of potheads lying in bed trying to open a cookie restaurant, I kinda wonder if they weren't reading here and going "Oh derp. That's right derp. We have home equity derp. We should take out a loan and try to make some money with it like they do on reality TV"...... "Yum cookies"....."oooh reality TV. I wanna be a Kardashian".....

Personally, I'd look at a food truck like Kona Ice. It's cheaper to run, less inventory to manage, you can work seasonally and you don't need as large of a staff. Or just open a farmer's market booth. I was at one yesterday and they were selling tiny loaves of bread for $8.

You're right about kendal. She’s so lazy. She said on camera (a while back) that they eat out and order in all the time because when she moves to Florida to run her own channel that she doesn’t want to cook anymore. She also finally addressed the paper plate question by saying they buy paper plates because she hates washing dishes. They’ve since admitted that they don’t have the money to eat out and order in. Last vlog Daniel said that Evie is helping in the kitchen by cooking the fries and green beans….cooking the fries meant opening a bag of frozen fries and putting them in the oven. I’m fairly sure the green beans also came frozen from a bag.

Daniel is enabling Kendal’s anxiety. They only go to Disney on holiday because Kendal is afraid to go anywhere else. Have they been to any nature reserves? Have they been to Gulf coast? Have they been to any museums? Have they seen alligators in the swamps (probably not or they would have vlogged about the giant gator in their neighbourhood). Have they been to the everglades? Have they been to the Keys (i know evie has but i mean as a family), have they gone kayaking in the mangroves? Have they seen the turtles hatching? Have they gone to the beach to just sit and watch the sunset? Have they taken an airboat trip (a bit touristy i know but still fun!). Have they been to Jacksonville?

After further digging, I’m 99% sure that Brin will be on Lightening because it’s now a senior 2. I noticed quite a few of her teammates from Twisters made Lightening this year. As for Sebi, he definitely made a team but we won’t know until Kenny shares in the vlogs. At allstar gym try outs like Flip, everyone who tried out makes a team however not necessarily the team/level you want because which teams and levels Flip will have for the season depends on the athletes trying out and their skill level. The only two options that make sense for Sebi: Youth 2 or Junior prep. Youth 2 is the lowest level youth team this year but he’s old enough to be on a junior team so junior prep would make a lot of sense. Prep teams are essentially for people brand new to cheer coming in with no experience so that wouldn’t make sense for Brin (unless she doesn’t want to be as competitive) but would make sense for Sebi. Kenny is keeping quiet on Instagram about the results to force people to watch the vlog to find out but EV and Kap shared on their Instagram stories already.

SMOCO I’m assuming stands for (s)enior (m)edium (co)ed. I think the extra O is just because SMOCO is pronounceable as a word but SMCO isn’t LOL. This is a popular naming scheme in allstar cheer. For example, a couple of the top worlds teams are called SMOED which is (sm)all c(oed) and TGLC which is (t)op (g)un (l)arge (c)oed.

Elite is basically just the main division of all-star cheer. You can have elite, prep, fundamentals, and one more I can’t remember for sure but I think is novice. So basically elite is just teams that compete. Adrianna seemed to be a good cheerleader from the bits we saw and her Instagram so I’m glad she’s moving from Wellington to a more competitive team with coaches that’ll help her reach her full potential. If Kap hadn’t made level 3, I’m sure Kenny would’ve been jealous.

Are you sure your husbands friend wasn’t at summit or the other worlds where each country makes up one team to compete (like team USA, team Mexico, etc.)? Worlds which is really called Varsity Worlds (varsity as in the huge conglomerate company) only allows senior teams that are levels 6 & 7 to compete, everyone else goes to summit. Sometimes they will have demonstration teams at Worlds like there’s an all boy team from Japan who has performed there before but didn’t compete.

With Sebi joining cheer, it makes more sense why he was the only one to go to Youth Summit with Kap and KD. It was probably part of the process of convincing him to join. I thought that his interest in tumbling and cheer was new but thinking back to youth summit, I feel like Kenny has been planting seeds for a long time now. Boy cheerleaders are rare so it will get Kenny more attention and that seems to be her goal in everything she does.

Personally, I'd look at a food truck like Kona Ice. It's cheaper to run, less inventory to manage, you can work seasonally and you don't need as large of a staff. Or just open a farmer's market booth. I was at one yesterday and they were selling tiny loaves of bread for $8.

You're right about kendal. She’s so lazy. She said on camera (a while back) that they eat out and order in all the time because when she moves to Florida to run her own channel that she doesn’t want to cook anymore. She also finally addressed the paper plate question by saying they buy paper plates because she hates washing dishes. They’ve since admitted that they don’t have the money to eat out and order in. Last vlog Daniel said that Evie is helping in the kitchen by cooking the fries and green beans….cooking the fries meant opening a bag of frozen fries and putting them in the oven. I’m fairly sure the green beans also came frozen from a bag.

Daniel is enabling Kendal’s anxiety. They only go to Disney on holiday because Kendal is afraid to go anywhere else. Have they been to any nature reserves? Have they been to Gulf coast? Have they been to any museums? Have they seen alligators in the swamps (probably not or they would have vlogged about the giant gator in their neighbourhood). Have they been to the everglades? Have they been to the Keys (i know evie has but i mean as a family), have they gone kayaking in the mangroves? Have they seen the turtles hatching? Have they gone to the beach to just sit and watch the sunset? Have they taken an airboat trip (a bit touristy i know but still fun!). Have they been to Jacksonville?
These are the laziest people ever!

Dying over the stoner part

I never thought of the holiday thing but it’s so true. They treat them like it’s just another day but with presents for birthdays and Christmas. Some of my fondest childhood memories are going to my grandparents for Christmas Eve and my cousins and I watching the Santa tracker and getting all hyped. Kenny doesn’t put any effort into making it special. She doesn’t put much effort into anything at all.

Where I live, people with the qualifications Kenny has would do minimum wage jobs mainly either retail, fast food, or call centers. Imagine Kenny working at a call center LOL. If she would treat the people like she treats her viewers, she’d get booted out pretty quickly though. The problem is so many minimum wage jobs are customer facing roles which would not be good for Kenny.

They are beyond lazy. The plastic dishes is kind of appalling considering all the garbage they would already produce in a family of 7 then add plastic dinnerware. Great for the environment! /sarcasm. Just was the dang dishes. You have a dishwasher!!!

Food is such a weird thing in their house. They think any home cooked meal is health but they’re always making junk like pizza dip or chicken fingers and fries then they throw in some random green beans. No wonder the kids don’t like anything healthy if they’ve been fed like this their whole life. Cooking at home is better than eating food cooked in grease from a fast food joint but their meals aren’t healthy and the portions for the 5 kids often seem small hence why the kids are always stashing away snacks.

Daniel is an enabler big time. Kenny REALLY needs to see a psychologist or psychiatrist and get a handle on her anxiety. She’s like low level agoraphobic: she can leave her house but only to go to other “safe” places like the mall or cheer or Disney. This level of anxiety isn’t a normal healthy amount, this is pathological and she needs help. Too bad they likely can’t afford it.

They’re so desperate for views, I hope they save your list of ideas and actually do some of them! I bet they’d get way more views than the regular vlogs!!

What about normal things? It doesn't even need to be touristy. What about all the things most of us take for granted? Like going out to see live music? Or going to a community celebration? As much as I can remember, that family has never set foot in a public library and Kendal is still afraid of Trader Joe's.

Maybe they should do some pot. Generally, I don't think self medicating is a great idea, but if they can't go to a GP for a Xanax prescription and a therapy referral, it really can't get any worse. This family doesn't do adult beverages, right? Snarky comments about what's really in the Starbucks aside.

I eat my hat and they have been approved to open their franchise…in whatever! I am happy for them. They clearly need a stable income and i hope this is what they achieve. The reality is, they are probably a year away from opening anything! They need to find a location, buy it or rent it, renovate it, get licences and insurance, employ staff, set up online ordering/table reservation services, train staff, do all the HR stuff, advertise….the mind boggles at the amount of work that needs to be done before they’ll take in their first cent, and how long until they actually start making money!

My friend who opened a franchise recently is doing well but struggles every day with staffing (especially over rush hour).

I’m 99% sure they’re just joking around. The person she’s going back and forth with is Madi. Kap & Brin and best friends with Madi & Jalynn who are sisters too. I find it hard to believe this is real. If it was EV or Kenny, yeah I would but not Brin. Even if Brin did do this in a mean way, she’s not the type to air her dirty laundry on social media! I’d personally be shocked if this wasn’t them just joking around with each other. Don’t lose hope, we still have Brin left to make it out of this family okay!
