I eat my hat and they have been approved to open their franchise…in whatever! I am happy for them. They clearly need a stable income and i hope this is what they achieve. The reality is, they are probably a year away from opening anything! They need to find a location, buy it or rent it, renovate it, get licences and insurance, employ staff, set up online ordering/table reservation services, train staff, do all the HR stuff, advertise….the mind boggles at the amount of work that needs to be done before they’ll take in their first cent, and how long until they actually start making money!

My friend who opened a franchise recently is doing well but struggles every day with staffing (especially over rush hour).
Ha. I’m glad we figured out the teams and shared them before Kenny. I’m sure that annoyed her very much 😉

Wow! Good for them! I hope they actually make it through the process without losing too much money because we know they’re finances aren’t in a good place. Did they announce this on today’s vlog? Did she say what the business was? I’m having some hiccups with my health and am behind on the videos. I wonder if Daniel’s parents had to co-sign on the business like when you buy a car or mortgage without great credit.

I really hope they find a ton of success so they can/will stop vlogging and stop exploiting their kids. It’s too late for EV and Brin, they’ve had their whole childhood on camera for the most part, but the younger kids still have time to experience a childhood that’s at least somewhat normal. That’s all I want, for them to stop exploiting their kids. If the franchise will help them do it, I’ll be their restaurants #1 supporter lol.

It probably did annoy Kenny, that y'all figured it out and said it before her.. good job! lol I have a question though, is S2 lower than J3? I was confused with that, when Brin insisted she wanted to be on a level 2 team but, got moved to S2 from J2.. instead of J3.

They did announce it on the vlog.. Kenny and Kap were on their way to go in to Crumbl, and Danny told Kenny to put him on speaker.. and told her that the guy told him they were approved. They could find a place where they live or in another area (I forgot where, sorry). They have to do some more paperwork and such as well. (Hope you're feeling better).

I think they will probably continue vlogging, for a while at least... to promote this place. HOPEFULLY, they stop. But, I think Kapri has already gotten a taste of "the dark side" with TikTok and such, so she is gonna constantly be on that, sadly.

Sorry to hear you’re having health issues. Hopefully you’re not struggling too much.
Yes on the latest blog Kendal took a call from Daniel where he said that ‘Brad’ had just called and approved them for a franchise in two locations. Not sure if they’ll open two or if they have a choice of two places in which to open 1 franchise

Wow. Nasty girls. Honestly no idea who this is or what its about. I just cant see brinley being evil
I’m 99% sure they’re just joking around. The person she’s going back and forth with is Madi. Kap & Brin and best friends with Madi & Jalynn who are sisters too. I find it hard to believe this is real. If it was EV or Kenny, yeah I would but not Brin. Even if Brin did do this in a mean way, she’s not the type to air her dirty laundry on social media! I’d personally be shocked if this wasn’t them just joking around with each other. Don’t lose hope, we still have Brin left to make it out of this family okay! 😛
Okay. So I know it's a handful of strung together words without real punctuation, various parts of speech, etc. But is Brin literate enough to have written this herself? For the record, I've never thought the kids handled their own social media accounts outside of TikToks and taking selfies.

Hey guys--been a while! I'll get right into it: I don't know tons about franchises, so correct me if I'm wrong. Does getting approved 100 percent mean you have the money? I don't think it does. I have a feeling they might get started and the costs will add up and they will be way over their head. While these franchises can be profitable, you can also invest all your money in it and go bankrupt. Without ANY restaurant business experience at all...I really wonder how they'll make this work. I mean, have they ever even been a CASHIER at a food place, let alone a Manager/ owner?! As y'all have said, they have zero experience in anything like this and don't come across a super intelligent. I can't IMAGINE Kendal running a restaurant!! What a mess. Just imagine how she'll work with employees in training. Omg.

Also..the cost to start one of these is astronomical. I wonder if they'd be willing to sell their house to try this venture, since it can easily cost $300k+ to open a franchise. (Money they for sure don't have.) Due to the recent blow up in Fl's housing market, K&D are in a huge profit margin on their home. They bought it at the right time..2 years ago for $715k, and it's now estimated at $1.2M. That's insane for such a small amount of time! The problem is, I don't see Kendal being willing to downgrade her shiny white boujee house to something like her old rental again, and they obviously only get the 500k profit if they move out and sell.
If I were Kendal, I'd sell the overpriced gray box for sure. To start the new business, be willing to not be boujee for a minute!!

I'm going to go out and guess that the franchise is Bolay. Kendal made a point to say Chick fil A wasn't it in the most recent video, and we all know crumbl didn't happen. The only other options they've advertised and gushed all over were Bolay and boba. Daniel told Kendal he was on the phone with someone named "Brad." Well, I googled Bolay and found that "Owen Brady" Is the VP of Supply Chain at Bolay, based in West Palm..seemed fitting for interviewing franchisees!

Kendal also seems waaaay too excited..she needs to not overhype herself to prevent a severe letdown later if things don't work out. There's still a ton more steps.

P.S. Kendal's financials stress probably stems from being house poor. It's so obvious when you look at her empty house. If she lived with lower monthly payments, and still ends up making tons of $$, she could actually afford the new car and furniture she'd been wanting. Seems like a no brainer to me to sell the house she can barely afford.

periodt, it’d be way smarter to sell and collect the few hundred thousand dollars to be able to hire a COMPETENT manager for the establishment
unfortunately tho ion see nothing other than Kendal falling flat on her big ass with this venture

Flip City has rebranded themselves and changed their color from blue to teal. How long will it be before Kenny gets teal leggings? and a side note .. the dresses the girls are wearing .. not sure they are quite appropriate for their ages. Especially Brin. Or maybe I’m just a stick in the mud lol

Friends, I’ll be back to reply to other posts later but I have some (semi-unrelated) tea that is going to bring us GREAT entertainment & drama next cheer season! 🐸☕️

BREAKING NEWS!
FLIP CITY WAS SOLD/TAKEN OVER BY CHEER EXTREME.

What the what?!?!! This was only announced like 2 hours ago. They took over the Flip Instagram completely changing the name of it to @cheerextremefl, changed the icon picture, and posted on their feed “saying goodbye to blue and hello to teal” 2 hours ago.

Here’s a little backstory you need to understand why this is a big deal. In cheerleading in the US, there’s maybe a dozen or so gyms that are really famous/known by basically all cheerleaders. One of those gyms is Cheer Extreme. Cheer extreme has several off-shoot gyms but the main ones are in Raleigh and Kernersville, North Carolina. They both have a handful of Worlds teams with most of them medal every year. I suggest watching a few of their worlds teams! They have some great ones: Senior Elite, SSX, Lady Lux, COED Elite, SMOEX. But if you only watch one, I’d say watch Senior Elite! There’s also some “famous” cheerleaders who compete with Senior Elite, Brinley took a picture with one or two of them at summits so that could excite the younger ones who look up to these girls just because they also go to a (different) CEA gym.

This could go really well and the gym could improve significantly OR it could kind of suck like some of the other CEA offshoot locations. I wonder if they’ll keep the same staff? I know Kap would be heartbroken if the staff was replaced because she loves Michael as a coach of course. Maybe they’ll bring in some coaches from the big locations here and there to help bring FC’s (now CEA FL) teams up to snuff.

This all seems really sudden. Like there was 0 talk in Instagram until right when the switch happened. I wonder if the parents and athletes knew about this before signing up for the next season. I can’t imagine that it would stay a secret with all the gossipy moms (it annoys me for no reason that Kenny always refers to people as cheer moms or cheer dads) AND gossipy teenagers. I can imagine a lot of angry parents and athletes if they only found out right now when the rest of the world did.

Well damn…I had to go set up a twitter account.

Definitely a couple of commenters who are clearly against flip city and the comments are very similar to those we have looked at before on other websites. But it seems most of the people who go there are happy. Personally I don’t think I like Michael. He seems a little too weird and familiar with the girls. Maybe that’s an American thing but for the most part, adult male coaches dont give full frontal hugs to young girls where I come from!

I honestly don’t know if a name change alone will bring better results to the current teams of flip city. There needs to be a coaching staff change too if they want to get back to legitimately qualifying to summit (not wild cards) and actually becoming competitive and not just participants.

Kendal had SOOOOOOO much fun y’all with her fellow cheers moms. That poor woman is so lonely. She only has friends through her own children. She doesnt realise that these are friends of convenience.

Also, seems that Dominick’s sister and Evie are back on speaking terms. They had stopped following each other on IG but now they were photographed together and the banquet.

Kendal trying to stir sh** up on Instagram stories. Thanks for giving us so much to talk about Kendal 😃 it’s beyond stupid to not use sunscreen, that’s how you get skin cancer! You can still get vitamin d with sunscreen on. There’s higher quality sunscreens (like sun bum) that have cleaner ingredients than like banana boat or whatever if she’s worried. I guess we know why her skin looks horrible with all that sun damage. The sun will make her look really old with all the wrinkles and sun damage, and she’s already aged tons since when she lived in NC. I wonder if it’s because of this sunscreen change.
I swear Kendal tries to be controversial on purpose and searches for the wildest opinions possible on social media, just to stir the pot.

I literally dont know anyone who doesn’t use sun cream. Why would you willingly get burnt? Yes she has aged a lot since moving to Florida. I assumed It was just her age but now it’s obviously because of skin damage

For anyone who can't access twitter, here were SOME of the things said-
"Cheer Extreme just ruined their name in Florida. Every parent within 150 miles knows you don’t ever bring your child to that gym. Flip City is nothing but cheaters, thieves and drug abuse 🙄"
"They definitely have zero idea what kinda crap they just partnered with - this will be the end of cheer extreme. When varsity reps, usasf and pretty much everyone doesn’t like the way you do business it’s probably not a bright idea to go into business with them 🤷🏼‍♂️ live and learn"
"Who would want to be a part of this scandalous gym. Liars, cheaters, abusers and lots of drugs and alcohol . Not only the coaches but parents too. Great job cheer extreme."
"Same owner, same coaches, same scandals, same garbage. Nothing changed. Congratulations Cheer Extreme 😂"

What I don't understand is why the team changed. If they are as strong as Kenny says they are, why would they change?

It’s R Life - Part 2: Buying, Lying, and Rudely Replying

I don’t understand how one day they have team announcements, then the next day they have a huge gym name change. Why didn’t this happen before tryouts? What the hell is going on? Is Courtney feeling ok, lol?

I have memories of CEA way back to my daughter’s World Cup days when Maddie Gardner ruled the cheer world. Sorry to see the gym get tainted like this, CEA is world known.

Kendal thinks they will automatically be a top tier gym just for slapping on the title of cheer extreme. They have a ton of work to do to reach that level and her comparing Evie’s team to C4 is just so bleh. They did mention they would bring in new staff and choreographers so perhaps they could get better and win some comps but it’s not magic, it still takes tons of time getting used to new coaches and completely new choreography. Very excited to see what this next cheer season bring for the gym and the drama.

A couple more reaction on twitter:

“I would tell people from FC to run from CEA. My daughter was at a small gym that merged with CEA. Worst experience ever.”

“Same owner, same coaches, same scandals, same garbage. Nothing changed. Congratulations Cheer Extreme”

“No, definitely not a coach in any capacity. Just an observant cheer mom. Anyone who has been in the cheer community (in Florida) for more than 5 minutes knows the debauchery that takes place in that gym.”

That's what I got from the way Kenny spoke about the merge.. that all of a sudden, they are gonna be the absolute best, taking home firsts in everything. Boy is she gonna be surprised when that doesn't happen. It takes a lot of hard work on everyone's parts.. not just a big name change. smh.

Am I the only one, who thought that most of those young girls were dressed WAY TOO inappropriately, for their ages?? Who makes these dresses nowadays? sheesh! I would NOT let my kid wear something like that, out of the house! Those were like, cocktail dresses.. for women.. not young girls! Someone else mentioned about the Rich's girls dresses.. but, wow... most of those girls were dressed way too "adult" IMO.

Kenny is acting like they are soooooo prestigious as a gym now because they are “THE chear extreme Florida” but not only did they buy out Flip City and this one in Maryland, they already had *10* locations, now 12. Wow, so prestigious!!! /s

She’s also acting like they’ll become an amazing gym just because they’re now CEA Florida but the two main CEA gyms in Raleigh and Kernersville, NC are the two gyms with all the trophies and worlds and summit wins. The other CEA offshoots aren’t anything special for the most part, they’re just regular ol cheer gyms not top tier gyms.
