Omg. I finally watched the house tour video and it was worse than I thought it’d be. Kenny made themselves look so freaking ungrateful and privileged complaining about FREE lodging. Like they were disappointed because there was no movie theater or crazy themed rooms? Wtf. That house IMO is nicer than the Riches’ own house. I would choose that vacation home any day over where they live. The fact there was no theater rooms or anything, that’s *your* fault Kenny. You chose where to stay, you chose to accept the brand deal. I’m sure there was photos and a write up about the house before you agreed to stay there FOR FREE. She should’ve known that it wasn’t going to be a “fun” house. What does she think, that every single rental home is going to have these themed rooms and movie theaters? Clearly their standards are WAY too high. The fact they’re staying in this beautiful house FOR FREE and all they could do is complain about what it wasn’t is so freaking tone deaf. That was a gorgeous house. There’s many people right now who can’t even afford to have a roof over their head yet alone a nice place like this one. Kenny said that she was going to be blunt/honest about the house because 99% of the viewers appreciate it… um, I highly disagree with that. It only seems that way because KD have blocked and continue to delete and block any comments that aren’t sucking up to her. In this case, your honesty just made you look bratty and like you were too good for this beautiful house, that only highly themed houses with theaters and game rooms are worthy of your family. It makes you look bad & ungrateful, not honest or real. Good luck getting a sponsorship from these people again or other rental places. First impressions matter and people talk you know…

I was coming over here to say something very similar. I too was disgusted by her comments. I’ve just watched that video and my first impressions of the house was that finally they chose a classy house and not one of those overly themed homes. Funnily when we were choosing a vacation home for this summer we avoided both the Encore Resort (bad reviews) and the homes that had themed rooms. We hate those themed homes and find them ‘cheap’ . We go straight for those simply decorated homes when we have a choice. The video itself was awful. 50% a tour of this home, 50% reruns of old video. Kendal’s honesty in this video wasn’t honesty. It was a display of arrogance and (as Aloha says) privilege and also shows how much she needs bright shiny lights and commercialism to keep her happy and entertained. A free two night stay in Orlando in a home that’s better decorated and furnished than their own home and they complain! Horrible people.

I understand why you would choose a house like this over the overly themed houses. It doesn’t surprise me that the theme ones are made cheaply, that’s how they can afford to do the themes. I’m with you, this one is much nicer. Is Encore Resort where they are staying? Whoever their marketing person is who will get this video in exchange for the free stay is probably crying right now that they wasted money on *this*. Great way to sell the place to other people wanting to rent a vacation home!!! /s. I hope whoever gifted them this stay sees this video.

The video definitely felt like a “we didn’t film enough so let’s put all this footage in to make it longer so we make more money” video.

Honestly I felt really bad for Hampton. He was really upset about not having a cake and stuff. As viewers, we know how much Hampton looks forward to his birthday so his parents should know that too. They just played it off like it wasn’t a special day until they pulled into Disney. Way to make him feel like crap on his birthday!!! I have no sweet clue why they thought surprising him was a good idea. Again, we see that he’s very routine focused and needs time to digest things, he doesn’t deal well with surprises or last minute changes, so why would they think a birthday surprise is a good idea????

Exactly. Why would you not give your kids the joy of anticipation. It's also an opportunity to use your kids excitement for learning purposes: Learning about time/days/dates for example, and so on. Of course it's clear why Kendal does it as she does, because she needs the reaction for views and content. Living for the camera, not with it, as it is the norm with her.

If I had been offered to stay at a place for free and it was full of rats and cockroaches and mice I would be complaining. But not only did that place look clean, it looked very nice. You didn't PAY for it Kenny. I'm sorry it didn't have a movie room and a money themed room and a shopping themed room. My family would KILL to go to Disney as often as you do, Kenny. ESPECIALLY to stay somewhere for free. Kenny, here is what I would have said .

"We've stayed at some pretty awesome places. While this one wasn't themed, we still loved the design and appreciated it. For families with older kids who may not want a themed room, this is perfect, and even with younger kids this was a great place to stay. My favorite part was how simple it was. It wasn't overwhelming. And I loved the big open kitchen."

Notice the difference of that from:
"We've stayed in some other properties before and those were kind of my expectations." yada yada about themed homes "and this one did not have the wow factor. This was like your basic home. The home really wasn't the highlight."

Notice in her talk, she focused on how this home was just eh and the others were amazing and stay at the others and I wish this was like the others and this did not meet my expectations while In mine I still acknowledged that I missed the themed rooms, I focused on the good of the home. Not that hard.

In today vlog, did you guys catch that scene while they were eating crumbl and Kenny said that Brin had tumbling and Kap was confused and Ken said that Brin goes to group tumbling at a gym close to their house? She said it’s with Devron. Devron was the tumbling coach they had before they joined Wellington Cougars and while at WC. Does this mean that Brin is moving back to a more low key gym like Cougars? That we were right and this level of competition is just too much for her and she isn’t happy? Interesting…

No surprise that Kap is applying for that modeling thing. She loves to be the center of attention and is Kenny’s new fave so I’m sure she would make her do it even if she didn’t want to. Kap looked SO pissy in the car during their crumbl part that she had to share the attention with Seb instead of it being just her and Kenny or Brin, Kap, and Ken because Brin just sits there quietly letting the two attention seekers do their thing. Speaking of crumbl, why bother buying the cookie cutter when you’re going to put your hands all over and bite into a cookie and put it back in the box? That’s what the cutter is there to avoid! They seem to dislike half the cookies they buy so I can’t understand why they keep going back every single week.

One last thought, when we see Seb in clips before or after cheer, he’s always wearing these shirts that look so old because the neck is all stretched out and stuff. Kenny buys the girls lululemon, Nike, and other name brands to wear to the gym but Sebi gets an old decrepit t-shirt. Come on now Ken, I thought all the kids were treated equally? Oh! Speaking of treated equally, Hampton was in this vlog for like a minute and didn’t talk or anything. Okay, I’m convinced they’re all treated equally /sarcasm.

One more I swear lol. It was really sad had disappointed Kenny was that there was no big storm full of flash flooding and “death and disaster” (her words not mine). I can’t understand why these supposedly Christian people love dangerous storms that hurt and kill people so much. Can’t they be interested in weather without saying nasty stuff like hoping for dangerous storms that people will undoubtedly get hurt in? It’s really not very Christian of them… and now because the storm didn’t come, she joked (well… half joked) about becoming a weather skeptic like she is with the news because apparently the news always says what’s opposite of the truth. She appears to be much deeper into the Q hole than I thought.

But she loves drama. Everything is theatre for her! Cheer, injuries, weather, shopping….she can make drama out if everything. You know what else bothers me….they gate crash parties. They also did it last year when the girls were invited to a party at a roller disco and the whole family went. Someone on this forum actually said the host of the party was really pissed off.
Again, B and K were invited to a birthday party at Defy and there’s Evie tumbling with the group and I spotted Hampton also on trampolines. Kendal of course was filming precious Kapri doing somersaults. Do you think that when the party group goes to the party area to eat that the rest of the uninvited Rich family stays away or do they go eat too because the host probably finds it awkward to leave some kids outside the door?

They seem to have no knowledge of social etiquette.

I’m looking forward to seeing what their franchise opportunity is and figuring out how much money they’ve invested in two franchises and then the journey they will be on trying to make these franchises profitable for them. Because they’ve definitely taken a step out of the YouTube door.

I can see both sides to the party thing. If they’re paying for the other kids to be at the trampoline place and they don’t interfere with the party, meh. Not much you can do as it’s a public place. But if they’re all up in the party, including the party room, or making the other people pay, then that’s messed up. We did our sons party at a trampoline park this winter and one of the moms asked to bring their older sibling bc they wouldn’t have childcare for her, and offered to pay for her. I appreciated the heads up and we had plenty of cake so she was included in that, but we didn’t pay her entry. But knowing this family … they just do whatever works for them without thinking about how it affects anyone else’s day.

Are these two nimrods really thinking about opening TWO franchise locations at the same time? Do they have any idea how much work it’s going to be to just keep one afloat? They will have NO spare time to do anything other than focus on getting the business up and running, and even when that happens (at least a year from now), they’ll have to worry about keeping it operational for as long as they have it. For a family who can’t even keep their house or cars clean how on earth are they going to keep TWO businesses running successfully? Daniel is going to be run into the ground because we all know Kenny is not going to lift a finger in this process other than to squeal about it on YouTube.

How are they going to manage cheer and the franchise?
School?
Hampton? Actually…this might be what forces them into putting him in school. At least that way he’s out of the house for 8 hours a day.

I just don’t see how they are going to manage dealing with one business, let alone two AND keep up with everything else. However, I am excited to see them fall flat on their faces.
