Americans are known for their gluttonous tendencies so a place like Duck Donuts tends to do well, as long as it’s managed properly. Let’s keep in mind that not only do K&D have to manage ALL business operations, they have to manage all day to day operations which include staffing issues. These two are right-wing nut jobs and that means they believe in capitalism above all else- this leads me to believe they will pay their workers nothing over minimum wage and will treat them poorly. It’s going to be ALL about their bottom line. These two know NOTHING about owning their own business, nothing about the food industry and NOTHING about managing people. Kendal can barely order food at a drive thru, so not sure how she’s going to deal with all the stress of a business. Daniel will be running it all by himself while Kendal does all her “cheer mom” responsibilities (because it’s a full time job according to her). I’d give the them 2 years max before they have to sell. The second franchise won’t open and they’ll be out over $300k.

So I did a little investigating on the internet about what a home in Florida could go for during polo season. Clearly on the thumb nail they have written that they would be renting out their home for 40,000 per month. It seems that homes similar to theirs go for something in the region of 500-700 per night….4/5 bedrooms and a pool. However, all the homes shown for this price have furniture at the pool and are close to a beach. By my calculations, the Rich family could probably take in 15-20,000 per month in rent before tax. However, they are suggesting 40k per month which is 1,333 per night! That’s a lot of money. Anything I’ve seen for that amount of money is a mansion! The Riches do not own a mansion. They own an under furnished cookie cutter home with no crockery in the kitchen! Will people who rent their house also be expected to eat from paper plates?

You guys. ITS FINALLY HAPPPENING. They’re moving out of her house that Kendal’s been struggling for months to afford. Aside from Kendal’s stupid financial decisions and laziness that led to this moment becoming a reality in the first place, I’ll admit I think homegirl is actually making a smart decision. Due to Florida’s sky high real estate values, she can definitely rent her home for WAY over her mortgage payment and pocket the profit to finance her duck donuts franchise ventures while living somewhere cheaper. I’m guessing Kendal’s goal is to move back into her house in Wellington after the allotted five months she mentioned in today’s video. Also, she’s right about the content. It gives her a lot of stuff to put on YouTube which is something we’ve talked about before, perhaps she’s taking OUR advice?
Turns out she’s looking more in West Palm Beach itself rather than the Wellington suburb- I understand why due to conveniences but she better watch out for crime rates. How do y’all feel?!

You’re right - she’ll have to invest in some flatware and dishes and bowls and some basic kitchen appliances. People renting at that price point expect certain things and if they’re not met she’ll get bombarded with bad reviews.
Also, Kendal- don’t you dare stock your house’s bathrooms with cheap ass toilet paper. It’s an automatic turn off on a $700 a night house rental. People notice the small things!

I haven’t watched the newest vlog about them moving into a cheaper home so excuse me if this is irrelevant but does this mean that Kenny has only been giving a room makeover to Sebi and Hampton so it’s look better to sell/rent? The room is barebones, literally just their 2 small kid beds, a dresser, and their stupid closet with no doors. There’s no decorations, nothing. At the price they’d be renting out the house, they can’t have one of the bedrooms looking like that. As Lemon said, at that price, people notice the details! If this is the case though, it wouldn’t surprise me at all. She has refused to do a room makeover for them for the last 2 years, why now? She doesn’t care about it but, now that it matters for her bottom line, she does.

She reminisced about all the excursions they used to do, pools they visited, playgrounds they stopped at (no hint of anxiety about going to different places) and then says how all that had to stop when Hampton came along because either she was exhausted from him crying all night or because he cried all day and they couldn’t take him anywhere. She has no positive emotional connection to Hampton. I wonder is she setting us up to help justify her actions when she sends him to school. Honestly it would be great for Hampton but her Teenie fans might wonder why the other four get to be homeschooled while Hampton is sent out of the house.

That seems like an awful lot of money to rent their current home out. I know that polo is a sport usually enjoyed by wealthy people, so possibly they will get that much rent. It doesn’t look the girls are thrilled about it at all. I know most teen girls wouldn’t be thrilled about a stranger sleeping in their room. I’m glad Danny finally put his foot down. It’s about time. Kenny is acting like she is excited.

Just curious but am I the only one who has ever wondered if Hampton might be Daniel's biological child from an affair and that's why Kendal hates him? She's a bit like Mother Gothel to her own kids, but she's straight up evil stepmother to Hampton. Also, you know how she had all of those gluten migraines in NC and when they moved to Florida they were magically gone? She wouldn't be the first woman to have a psychosomatic response to her husband's infidelity. And by moving out of state, the problem kinda solves itself. And you know how Daniel used to work out in NC A Lot? And he was gone a lot more? That's what the dad from 8passengers does and people believe he's having an affair. But Daniel does these things a lot more.

Consumer spending in the US is expected to contract. The savings rate is really low, 60% of families are reporting food insecurity on national surveys and the powers that be believe that inflation is due to "high wages" rather than their failure to address supply issues and price gouging.

I am not making any guesses as to how a gourmet donut shop is going to do in this market even if it is managed by a genius. I would have gone the food truck route.

I really do not think Hampton is a love child of Daniel’s nor do I think Daniel ever cheated on Kendal. I just think Daniel wanted to adopt a child and Kendal didn’t and now she holds him over a barrel for it. I’d imagine Kendal said something like this to Daniel: fine we will adopt a child but he’s entirely your responsibility.

And Kendal: the reason you don’t get the same views as other YouTube channels who put out ‘the same content’ is because you are not a nice person.
