I really do not think Hampton is a love child of Daniel’s nor do I think Daniel ever cheated on Kendal. I just think Daniel wanted to adopt a child and Kendal didn’t and now she holds him over a barrel for it. I’d imagine Kendal said something like this to Daniel: fine we will adopt a child but he’s entirely your responsibility.

And Kendal: the reason you don’t get the same views as other YouTube channels who put out ‘the same content’ is because you are not a nice person.

I like the theory with cheating just because it’s an interesting take but I don’t think it happened either. Daniel seems very submissive and I can’t see him going behind Kenny’s back having an affaire.

What I suspect happened is similar to you Glass. I think Daniel wanted to adopt, Kenny didn’t. Daniel talked her into it and she finally agreed to it. Since they went through an adoption agency, they probably put on their paperwork that they wanted a healthy baby and that’s what they thought they were getting with Hampton. As his issues became more and more obvious, the “workload” of taking care of him for heavier and heavier, so Kenny became more and more resentful of both Hampton and Daniel for talking her into this. Since it was his idea, I think she just puts the responsibility all on him because she didn’t want to adopt in the first place but especially not a child with the developmental issues he has. I suspect she might have had a post-partum depression type issue so she never really bonded with him from the beginning. Now it’s probably too late to mend the bond with Hampton because she continues to be resentful of him. He won’t ever get treated the same as the biological kids, with the same amount of love, which makes me really sad. The family treats him more like an animal at a zoo that they observe and talk about as if he’s not there not a human that has his own thoughts and personality. Maybe they’d appreciate him more as a person if they actually got him therapy so he could communicate better what his needs are and see more of who he truly is. If anything comes out of all this house selling and business opening stuff, I hope it’s Hampton going back to school and getting the therapy he needs.

On your other point, the people who make videos like Kendal’s that get views are nice and caring people who treat their kids and others people as the humans they are and not cash cows. People don’t want to associate with Kenny because she’s nasty to everyone which affects her viewership. Plus some of their content is just really lazy compared to others who make similar videos!!

remember kendal is prolife but when she adopts a baby a mom could’ve otherwise aborted shes pissy and resentful when he’s not normal and has a disability. Kendal’s reality doesn’t match what she preaches...

And apparently, Daniel's wanted to do this all of his life but had no savings for it? They literally had to raise tens of thousands of dollars for it in a couple months. Didn't the family have to give up a lot in order to pay for the adoption? They could have done foster to adoption for a few hundred dollars. I know at least five families who have been through that process. It's not out of reach for a stable middle class family.

As for not getting views, I think it's because they are boring and do the same stuff every day. The only reason people might stick around is that they are essentially a slow moving train wreck, but then you realize that there are five kids on that train and you realize that watching is just enabling the dumpster fire.

As for furnishing the house, I can't imagine that it would cost that much. Polo season doesn't start until January. They can hit up estate sales for patio furniture and maybe some canvases for the walls. There's also Wayfair if they are going for a certain aesthetic. It's easy enough to get the college student special on glasses, plates and flatware at Walmart or Target. What I'd invest in is a decent outdoor kitchen set-up and good mattresses. I hate Airbnbs/VRBOs with lumpy mattresses.

I was catching up on the R life Instagram so here is a mini Instagram roundup

Who was it that said sometime in the last few weeks that Brin is going to dye her hair dark and start wearing all black (something like that)? You were spot on . She’s following in EV’s footsteps and that scares me for her. Brin has so much potential and should have a role model that isn’t a member of her family.

The second photo is Kenny’s birthday post for Hampton. She says in the description “to know him is to love him” which is quite funny imo considering what we see of their relationship!

Lastly, Kenny looking like she’s not wearing any pants and her girls wearing pajama pants on content made to promote their new business. Real professional looking!!! Considering they went to DD to buy donuts and make content so then can advertise on insta, you think you’d put a bit more effort into making something nice and professional. Since they are now DD store owners, I wouldn’t walk into any other DD franchises without looking put together.

I think they are just lazy and dumb. If they really couldn't afford it, they could probably find a higher quality dresser curb shopping or dumpster diving and just paint it white to fit their aesthetic. They don't have to announce what they did, but it makes sense to make the house look nice because their vlog is their primary income source. The Walmart/Target stuff is just made from cheap particle board and doesn't have real joints. It's a step down from Ikea.

I think what they really need is art on the walls. Specifically, art on canvas. The sound quality is terrible because their voices are bouncing off of empty walls and tall ceilings.

Most of the people that I know who do vacation rentals do so through Airbnb. They could be using some kind of private rental agency if that's what their "friend" (what do you think of that? Real person? Scammer?) used. There are very few listings there for January through May right now. It looks like renting a five bedroom with a pool averages 500-700/night in July. Prices should go up during the cold season because of all the snowbirds. But would they really double or triple? And wouldn't they have expenses related to the rental like maid service and insurance?

Also, has anyone else noticed that the places Kendal wants to rent aren't in a gated community? And why wouldn't they do the whole YouTuber-lets-shove-my-giant-family-in-an-RV-and-tour-the-country-for-views thing?
They still have a Suburban, right? So they could buy a used pop out trailer and just pretty it up. Does anyone else think that they talked about it over a big plate of pot cookies? Or while Daniel was--allegedly-- waxing his chest? What do you think all of this change and novelty is going to do to Kendal's anxiety? I think it will come out in her personality. She's going to vacillate between vacant and nasty so fast that the family won't need to go to Disney for roller coasters anymore.

Ok so… they got Evie a car.

… what I don’t understand is- it’s 4 months before her birthday, she doesn’t have her license yet, AND she’s not graduating from school or anything like that.

Why does she deserve or need a car right now!? They just love spoiling that girl and spending money on her like she’s the queen.

And then doing this whole presentation at cheer was weird.

Daniel said he friend has the same car- bet it’s Peyton because she gets weird obsessions with friends and has to copy them.

When Kendal literally forgot Brin existed tho!! They’re all outside cheer, Kapri too, the coaches, her friends and they’ve taken pics and lots of time has passed by and kendal suddenly remembers she has another daughter and asks where Brin is … then she doesn’t like her reaction when Brinley says oh you got her a car and shrugs… because obviously she is not surprised.

I hope they stick around on YT another 2-3 years so we can see what they do when Brinley can drive…. Willl SHE get a new car that isn’t linked to any other occasion? I’m sure she will not.

Also I hated how evie pointed her finger in Brin’s face and then proceeded to be bratty and rude about people not being in her car. Just peyton.
Her parents got her that car when many kids her age have to get their own or at least wait for an occasion! She could at least drive her siblings to places to save her parents a trip without giving them conditions etc… which I’m sure she’s going to do.

Not a huge deal but they have a Chrysler minivan, not a suburban! Kendal aint that boujee ahahahaha. Did they trade in the hummer In order to buy Evie's car? She got a brand new Camry SE which is around $28,000. Sure seemed that way with Daniel driving it to cheer and seemingly ditching his car. Probably how they afforded it, obviously financing the rest. They love debt!

Ok I know yall are going to call me crazy, but am I the only one who thinks Evie isn't Kenny's favorite/ doesn't like Kenny as much now? Let's be real, Kapri is Kenny's dream child. She can actually cheer and LOVES it, can't drive so needs Kenny for that, likes crumble, Starbucks, and shopping, obeys her every word, makes rude jokes, and doesn't have work to go to. Evie now has work, and usually if she's not at work she seems to be with friends, and occasionally is at cheer. I HATE to do this, because I think ranking kids is the WORST thing ever, but I could totally see Kenny rating them like this:
1- Kapri- hangs out with her all the time, big with cheer
2- Evie- her bestie who loves drama
3- Sebi- male cheerleader who adores her
4-Brin- we all know
5- Hampton- do i even need to say anything?
More and more in these recent vlogs I've seen a shift from Evie or Brin/Kap always with K and Sebi and Hampton always with D to now Kap and Sebi and sometimes Evie with K go Brin and Hampton with D.

I hope that Sebi TRULY wants to do cheer. Anyone can see that Kenny has been paying more attention to Sebi since he joined cheer.

Regarding The Dad Challenge Podcast: I do watch his videos that he uploads that have to do with Kenny. I do not like him and I don’t not like how he completely degrades appearances and some of his other comments are questionable. I watch because he does make some good points and I love watching other people have the same opinion as us about this family.

Regarding Evie’s car, first of all, holy sheezo a brand new toyota camry?!?! Happy for Evie but wow that’s insane considering those sell for about $25,000+ and we know they are on the struggle boat. And wtf she doesn’t even have her license yet so why buy her a car, why not surprise her with it when she does get her license? I would hate to look at my brand new car in the driveway and not even be able to drive it! Plus this is her first car, even if I had that kind of money I would never buy my kid a brand new car, they need to start of with something simple and not super expensive because they are still very new to driving and could easily ruin a brand new car.

I agree with whoever said the presentation of the car right in front of cheer was a little weird and they definitely did to to show off and give Evie all the attention like she loves. I got off vibes during that part of the video.

Agreed…the whole car thing is just weird but someone said that they must have traded Daniel‘s hummer for the brand new Camry and I have a feeling that could be true. Likely Evie wanted a car but they couldn’t afford it. If Evie has a car then they don’t need to also have two family cars because Evie can do some of the driving and I’m fairly sure they made a deal with her…they buy her a car but she has to do some of the cheer runs.

I know it’s an American tradition that parents buy their kids their first car. It’s definitely NOT a tradition on this side of the world..thankfully. Kids need to work to buy their first car and usually that’s a small used car that is not too expensive to tax, Insure and fuel.

I hated that she ignored Daniel. Hated it. It was like he didn’t exist. Brinley was totally unimpressed. This girl is brilliant to watch.

Why are they putting so much effort and money into they house for the purpose of rental when they couldn’t do it for themselves. That would really annoy me. Obviously they knew outdoor furniture was essential but just never bought it. And 399$ for a lounge/sofa set is CHEAP! Couldn’t they have bought that for themselves?

There’s a whole thread under that comment. To a certain extent I agree with the person who said we only see a snap shot of their lives on YT…but for gods sake…make that the good snap shot. The one that shows Evie being really grateful to her dad, the one that shows Brinley jumping up and down with excitement. These YT families are renowned for showing how wonderful their families are but Evie NOT publicly showing appreciation to her dad is doing more harm than good. If this is Kendal’s idea of ‘keeping it real’, there’s no wonder why their channel is failing so fast. And Evie’s response to that comment on her IG could have been kind. She might have said how much she loves and appreciates her Dad, how she was caught up in the excitement and then thanked him profusely offline. But she didn’t. She responded rudely just like Kendal…who then said she would block anyone who had ‘liked’ that original comment.

As for Josh on Dad Challenge…I can’t stand him. I used to suffer through his videos on the YTers that I watch but he’s so obnoxious and self righteous that I can’t do it anymore. I also don’t find his Daniel ‘roasts’ funny. He’s trying too hard but just comes off as rude.

No, you’re not crazy! I feel Kapri is the favorite (now). It was EV for a long time. She did everything with her mom and got extras the other kids didn’t get like getting her nails done or buying more for her. EV became the favorite way back in the NC days because Kenny would be in bed all day at least 1-2 times a month with a migraine and EV had to run the household. Kenny enjoyed that since it took a lot of weight off her shoulders. Not to mention she became almost a clone of her mom and they did everything together. She mirrored Kenny so that she would approve Now, EV has friends and a social life that she values more than spending every waking hour with her mother (and who could blame her), she isn’t loving cheer anymore and isn’t progressing quickly whatsoever, and just seems to want to be more independent. Kenny and Kap now are besties for the same reasons you mentioned (cheer, tiktok, etc.) and the biggest being the same reason EV was the favourite, because she mirrors her mom. I’m not diagnosing anyone here but Kenny comes across on YouTube as having many narcissistic tendencies and that’s what narcissists love, having some one look up to them and admire them so much that they copy her behavior. Brin is too hard for Kenny because she wants to be her own person (thank god)
