For those of you who are knowledgeable about tumbling, what do you think of Evie's layout (Kendall posted it on her Instagram)?

Honestly, compared with some layouts I’ve seen posted on flip city’s IG, it’s actually not bad. However, she’s on an airtrack on the floor and that helps give considerable elevation. We use those thin air tracks in the gym sometimes and the girls fly way higher with the airtrack than without. Let’s see Evie’s layout without the airtrack Kendal.
Technically Evie’s layout wouldn’t be considered a layout in gymnastics as her hip angle is too acute but I think cheer judges don’t see that as a problem.
So, assuming her layout will also look like this in competition, let’s give credit where credit is due. But let’s see first when the airtrack is removed.

I’m still hanging in there. Things are getting worse and I’ve had a few bad weeks. I’m behind on videos and was just getting caught up here when I saw this post! I will do my best to let you guys know before I go because I really value the great people & conversations we’ve had here

Glass - thanks for the feedback! I was thinking that it looks kind of like what you would expect when you first "get a layout" by yourself (without a spot) - it is very piked (rather than the desired hollow body position). Also, like you said - there is a huge difference between doing a layout on the floor to doing it on an air track. But, also like you said - I, too, will credit where credit is due. It looks like Evie is finally making progress on her layout.

Sorry…can’t edit…but go watch her IG story from today. She is so bitter. She also says Disney doesn’t like them. Does Disney even know them? They are not Disney influencers. They openly admit to NOT vlogging Disney trips because they don’t get good views. Just because they go on trips to Disney and (may or may not) own an annual pass does not make them worthy of receiving free cruise tickets.
I don’t have a clue which family vloggers were invited on this cruise but if anyone can figure it out…are they Disney vloggers? Do their lives revolve around Disney?
I remember Kendal saying that one of the big reasons they moved to Florida was so they could go on unlimited Disney trips. After 3 years, the Disney magic has certainly worn away for the kids. They don’t seem to have any interest in Disney at all. They don’t wear Disney merchandise, they don’t shop at the Disney store. They don’t have Disney crockery (oh, wait…they don’t have ANY crockery ). And even before vaccinations were required they made no effort to go on a Disney cruise.

JessFam is there with just her oldest. She’s not a full time Disney blogger but she does vlog her trips and is Disney obsessed lol. It makes sense for her. Kendal is just such a bitter human being

I don't think Kendal realizes that those other vloggers have probably spent a considerable amount of time and resources networking. I don't even think they've even thought to go to the hospitality office at the park and introduce themselves. They also don't have a manager that does these things for them. These things just don't knock on your door, you have to shake a lot of hands and make an impression.

You’ve probably seen her newest video on YT…a short…capturing a guy stealing from the porch. We all know it’s a set up. It’s Daniel. And Even if it’s not Daniel it’s still a guy stealing from their porch. At this very moment in time they are trying to sell their house for 1.5 million. Buyers may be aware of who they are and are watching or have watched their videos. What buyer will want to purchase a house if there’s evidence of robbery in the neighborhood? WHY IN GODS NAME when trying to sell your home would you even consider pretending people steal from your porch. The mind boggles.

You are so right! It never even occurred to me that they don’t network, but you’re right, they don’t. They always complain that they’re not part of the YouTube Clique. And Not Networking is the reason for that. I bet they tried to get a discount or free family passes from Disney and Disney refused. And this is possibly why they say Disney hates them. I bet they just don’t get Disney freebies like they expect and Kendal, being Kendal, classifies this as HATE.
Something I also find astounding is that they must discuss online ‘hate’ with all their children. And in detail too. Kapri and Brinley knew a lot about how people critique their family.

Agreed. In the gymnastics world this layout would not be considered straight due to the hip angle. It would be considered to be piked. And then it would be heavily deducted because it’s not piked enough and not high enough. But in the cheer world there doesn’t seem to be the same requirement for technical perfection. Likewise the full and double twists I see on the cheer mat would be so heavily deducted in gymnastics that they wouldn’t be worth performing.

I don't know if they are comparing themselves to all those Utah family vloggers or those teen-mom turned girl boss vloggers. But there's somethings they need to realize. Those girl boss types HUSSLE. I think their end goal is to create some kind influencer-based lifestyle company, not just have a family vlog that pays the bills. They take their brand seriously and avoid starting fight with 11yos on social media.

There are also some things that they realize about those Utah folks. Utah is a tiny state. It's population and economy is on par with that of Iowa. IOWA. Most of those vloggers knew each other before they started vlogging because they are all members of the same church and their families are naturally interconnected. Many of them got each other into vlogging and are invested in the success of each other's vlogs so much so that they do a ton of cross promotions.
