Are those tile floors common in America? I understand having tile in the kitchen and bathroom, but the living room and dining room and bedrooms? It just strikes me as very strange. Looks like something more suited for a shopping mall or a supermarket.

On mainland Europe tiles or wooden floors are very common all over the house including bedrooms.

I've only seen tile in the "Arrested Development" type of house. Which I think is basically the kind of house the Riches want.

*Arrested Development was an old American sitcom about a neurotic family who got wealthy developing flashy McMansions that would deteriorate and fall apart.

I know a woman who realized that she would come out ahead keeping her apartment in NYC plus renting in Florida if she could pay Florida income taxes instead of New York income taxes. I'm guessing now that people have to go back into an office, they're ditching tax havens like Florida and going back to Manhattan. That's part of the reason you see so many homes for sale.
Ok interesting. Thanks for the explanation. I didn’t realise taxes in Florida were lower.
I didn't know this either, until I started following someone on IG, and Oh geez.. I was shocked at how much she pays in taxes in NYC. I was taking a drink when she was talking in her clips, and I literally choked, (people say that and I never believe them but it happened to me and now I believe lol). I haven't met anyone who has moved here from NY/NYC to talk about that kinda thing before. I don't know how they survive!

About the tile.. when you live by the beach, most people want to have tile, it's easier to sweep up sand.. but, also.. in case of a flood, you won't get moldy carpets I am guessing.. we have terrazzo floors throughout our house (we have an old Florida home built in the early 70's I think). Easy to sweep and mop but, very very slippery when wet. If I had to choose, I would rather have wood throughout, with tile. I don't think I would want carpet ever.

1. Why does the other girl have a corset typically used to assist people with scoliosis? Is her brace a better one because she has better insurance or is her injury more serious?

2. Why is Kendal making light of this? If both team members have the same injury wouldn’t that be a suggestion that something is wrong with their training?

But hey, I’ve been saying for a couple of years now that these girls have injuries because they are not conditioned properly to do the skills they are doing and that they are learning these skills incorrectly.

I think that if Kendall wants to put her girls in cheer, she should consider a non-tumbling or limited tumbling team for them (like 4.2 or Level 6NT). These girls keep getting too many injuries and other than Kapri, do not seem to enjoy the tumbling aspect of cheer. Also, if they had any talent in tumbling, they should have at least a full by now (given the number of years they have been doing competitive cheer AND the number of privates they have been getting). But also given their financial situation, they might want to drop cheer all together or do the homeschooled sideline cheer for significantly less. Plus, if they get their duck's donuts franchise up, it will be hard for Kendall and Daniel to have the time to drive the kids to the various practices and competitions. Most people who start new businesses are working day and night trying to get it going.

In an IG story recently she said that Evie had had a rough evening and there were a few home truths. For what it’s worth, here’s my opinion:
Evie has a sore foot.
Evie can’t tumble properly
Evie doesn’t care
Kendal is devastated
Evie reckons her foot is too sore to cheer again and she should probably quit altogether. Cheer gets in the way of her social life anyway.
Kendal hears: Evie’s foot is too sore to cheer and this is the worst news ever and Evie doesn’t want to quit but she’ll never reach the same standards again and she’s letting down her team and her future as the best cheerleader in the world is in jeopardy and Evie doesn’t want to let her team down with a sub par performance so she’s going to be really mature and quit cheerleading
Evie is relieved

Maybe after she surpassed or became equal to Evie in cheer, she started getting a big head due to being Kendall's new favorite? But she should watch out bc Sebi is coming to take her spot. Kendall definitely seems more excited about Sebi's skills than any of the girls. In less than a year, he is already at the point the girls were at after YEARS of competitive cheer. Kendall is probably thinking that Sebi will achieve the skills that her girls never could.

I actually think Kenny almost enjoys when the kids have cheer injuries. I think it makes her feel like she is the mom of real athletes. In the comments today someone asked if the injuries are all from cheer and she said because our kids have amazing active lives. I would bet these injuries will effect them their entire lives. I know kids get hurt, but this is insane.

I believe Kendal sees her kids as a status symbol for herself with the cheer. Her top cheer performer becomes her favorite since she needs validation that cheer is worth the money she spends on it and the time she spends going there- it’s like half her identity being a “cheer mom” because lets face it kendal has like nothing interesting going on in her life otherwise. She NEEDS someone to be amazing and motivated with cheer because if they drop it the little bit of identity she has offline is gone.

You do NOT want to mess around with either back or neck injuries. Even things that start out minor can lead to chronic pain in adulthood. Unless you are going to do this professionally (competing and/or coaching) it just doesn't seem worth it.

It kind of makes me sad this family doesn’t have proper health insurance that will help them pay for medical treatment. Sacrificing an MRI because it’s too expensive? Sad.

I agree. It’s not right. What if it was something more serious then a ‘sprain’?

So it’s ok to spend thousands on cheer every year but not on healthcare. I am soooo happy we dont live in the US. We also pay for health insurance in this country. It’s compulsory to pay for health Insurance and it’s expensive too…but it works. And NEVER would a child be denied proper healthcare because the parents couldn’t afford something. Our eldest is a high level athlete and is often at the doctor and is forever needing ultrasounds, MRIs and x rays….not to mention various types of therapy. But her coach is on the ball and as soon as there seems to be discomfort or pain in anything he wants it looked at before it becomes a bigger problem. There is no way in hell we wouldn’t have the health insurance that is needed to accompany her through her career.

Not having proper health insurance while having kids in sport is like spending thousands on planning a road trip but not being able to put fuel in the car 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Anyone see Kendal’s Walmart tiktok? She has said numerous times how she hates Walmart. Hypocrite!

This Smoosat company does seem dodgy. But why not just go down the legal route rather than involve everyone on social media? Can they not afford a solicitor?
