I feel you, it’s BS. Kendal knows her kids aren’t getting the same level of schooling as even people in basic public schools, let alone whatever upper stream one your kids go to. (I’m from the U.S— not sure how things work over in Europe)Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 1:06 amDon’t they have to declare that a video contains a paid advertisement? Anyway: back to today’s video. If a child is getting all As in a school report then one must question the difficulty of those tests. Especially since we know that neither Brinley nor Evie is especially clever!
My kids are decent students. They’re all in the A stream in school…the upper stream. (School in this country is streamed A, B and C). Not in all their lives have they received straight As. Sure they get an A here and there in tests but never have I seen a report card like Brinley’s or Evie’s and I can 100% guarantee they know more, are better educated and are cleverer than the two Rich girls. Which can only suggest that the syllabus used by these girls is ridiculously below par. How many times has Kendal said that the girls struggle with Maths? I don’t even know how it’s possible for them to get an A in English….those kids have appalling use of spelling and grammar.
It actually infuriates me to think that kids who follow a decent system with a challenging syllabus come away worse off than those who cheat the system like Kendal does.
I wonder if Kendal realises how much the Europeans mock the US school system.
Kendal’s level of schooling is NOT every U.S public school— especially high schools. There are numerous advanced placement/ dual enrollment courses that are quite rigorous at most American high schools. Kendal just cheats the system by being friends with her evaluator with her joke of a curriculum. Remember when Evie was enrolled in FL public schools and had to drop out right away?! She couldn’t handle an actual workload of homework and due dates.
You’re right, these girls have terrible spelling and grammar. They’d never get an A in real English class, where you actually have to write essays. They probably haven’t written a multi-page essay once in their lives.
Also, didn’t the Riches just start school?! There’s probably like 3 assignments in that grade book. Lots start with A’s when there’s barely a small worksheet in the grade book. I feel for you about your kids and kids similar to yours academic wise being compared to the Rich girls. It’s not fair and it’s stupid how Kendal can get away with her "schooling." Regardless of grades, though, they are only harming themselves being terribly under educated. Math is one thing, but not being able to read and write past a 6th grade level will look horrible for their futures.
