So basically it’s your average tea that you make at home when you have a cold. We make it all the time…camomile tea with grated ginger, honey and fresh squeezed lemon juice. It’s comforting and fresh ginger (we grate a root of ginger) is known to have soothing properties. Otherwise, honey soothes a cough and lemon juice adds the vitamin C. All natural but nothing medicinal.
These people are so poor now. Thank goodness Evie and Brinley earn money otherwise Kapri would have received nothing for her birthday.

Makes me feel bad when they completely ignore him. He asked Kapri a question in a recent vlog and she acted like he didn’t exist.

In todays vlog when Daniel was trying to sound cool about Evie buying breakfast for Kapri, Evie pretty much shot him down (happened at the foot of the stairs).
Also, why did Hampton not give Kapri a present? Did no one bother their ass to take him out to shops even to buy her a bottle of coke and pair of socks! I’m not concerned for Kapri not receiving a gift…more that Hampton didn’t have the opportunity to give her one. Excluding him entirely!

So basically it’s your average tea that you make at home when you have a cold. We make it all the time…camomile tea with grated ginger, honey and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Nope. Not even that fancy. It's two tea bags and some hot water in a 16oz paper cup. The same tea is available at Walmart for about $7/box. The ingredients don't even make a lot of sense for colds. Lemon verbena is associated with stress relief. (And if you call it verbane, it gets rid of vampres.) Lemon grass is a diuretic/laxative. Mint is usually associated with mild pain relief and stomach upsets.

I love ginger. For colds, I like tea made from fennel because it's an expectorant, wild rose hips for vitamin c, stinging nettle because it's like drinking kale and lavender to kill the taste of the nettle. Most of it is stuff that I can grow or forage.

After I posted my update.. my power supply died on my computer.. it all seems fine now *knocks on wood* I TRIED to keep up with The Richy Rich's.. but, my phone kept cutting off during vlogs, so it just annoyed me! BUT, WHY are they so rude to Daniel? I don't get it.. I really would like to know what all this resentment towards him is about. Lately when I have seen him in the vlogs, he is looking old and tired.. anyone else notice that? He seems to be getting all the stress and worry and treated like dirt as well.. and he's probably going to end up having a stroke or something, and I don't think his kids will be one bit concerned, the way they act now.

After I posted my update.. my power supply died on my computer.. it all seems fine now *knocks on wood* I TRIED to keep up with The Richy Rich's.. but, my phone kept cutting off during vlogs, so it just annoyed me! BUT, WHY are they so rude to Daniel? I don't get it.. I really would like to know what all this resentment towards him is about. Lately when I have seen him in the vlogs, he is looking old and tired.. anyone else notice that? He seems to be getting all the stress and worry and treated like dirt as well.. and he's probably going to end up having a stroke or something, and I don't think his kids will be one bit concerned, the way they act now.

I think the girls resent being filmed and being put in the position of being the main breadwinners of the family. It was different when they were younger and didn’t know any better - plus it was probably fun for them. Daniel had a full-time job at that time too.

When your dad is unemployed and follows you and your friends around with a camera for money, I can see becoming resentful over that.

Evil is beyond over it and has been for a very long time. She outright refuses to cooperate when Daniel is filming.

Brinley is the most cooperative of the girls. She has a kind disposition and seems the closest to Daniel. I can’t remember her ever being rude or dismissive to her dad.

Kapri had taken cues from Evie, but to a slightly lesser degree. She will shut down maybe 75% of Daniel’s attempts to interact with her. While Evie shuts down nearly 100% of his attempts.

Latest vlog includes nothing but but the same party they always do…I thought they were going somewhere this time!? Maybe I was wrong. Anyway video was a bunch of 12 and 13 yr old girls running around in bikinis all day on YouTube in front of thousands of people. Are these parents of the friends ok with this? I know my daughter would not be letting anyone film her and put her all over social media this way.

Yeah. I think something is up with Daniel. I don't watch a lot, but compared to pre-pandemic videos, he seems like a different person. He used to have his own interests (running, eating healthy) and his own opinions on parenting. He wasn't exactly assertive on camera (I've always wondered if he might be a hard ass off camera or if he was really passive aggressive or something and he just edited his own footage to create a certain impression, but who knows?), but he still seemed like he had a normal concept of personhood.

But now he seems to have lost those things in favor of simping after his teen daughters and his wife's crazier impulses. His voice sounds older and tired and maybe even a tad more feminine.

That's kinda why I wonder if he did something (fathered Hampton, lost all of their money on crypto, etc) and he's begging for forgiveness. I don't believe Kendal could leave him because it would wreck their only income source (the vlog) and she depends on him to do all the adult stuff.
