Is that even true, though? I say this as the mother of a couple of fairly adventurous, high spirited twins. If there's a pile of snow, wood chips, dirt or construction debris to climb, my kids are already at the top. Jump into any body of water even the mall fountain with all of their clothes on? Done. Mud fight? Uh huh. Dare a friend to chew the used gum on the bottom of a restaurant table? Yep. The Rich kids always seem anxious, withdrawn and sad to me. I don't think they've ever been in the middle of anything in their lives. If they were the vlogs would be a lot more interesting. And Kendal would be a lot more prepared and a lot less interested in Gucci and white decor.

I HATE HURRICANE VIDEOS. What kind of people make fun of other people for taking extreme weather seriously? You know that they are just going to go to the grocery store and film the bread aisle and the bottled water aisle and go "OMG look at these dorks acting like it's end times". And then they are going to stand outside for a couple minutes during the storm and pretend that they live in a disaster movie like Ack a firenado almost hit my eye. Lastly they are going to walk or drive around filming how nothing is open and the whole five minutes of cleaning they have to do.

Let's see if I am right:

1. OMG. Don't the hurricanes know that it's November?
2. Hurricane smoothies! Daniel buys them! Where is his juicer? But wait. It's still just a tropical storm.
3. Everybody has to drink their smoothies outside. It's a rule. They don't necessarily have to look at each other though. It's like The Sims.
4. Kendal and Daniel blabber in the car together.
5. They go to Walmart and make fun of people attempting to prepare. Daniel filmed the water aisle while Kendal hid.
6. The storm gets a name: Nicole. Their area is under hurricane watch.
7. Time for some Hurricane Dunkin. And Hurricane Target. Dear God. Why don't these people own flashlights and batteries? Have they never heard of a junk drawer? Also, most phones have flash light. You just need to charge the power banks.
8. A little bit of weird stuttering in this video. Kapri should consider oiling her hair.
9. Bought hurricane junk food and hurricane Christmas decor. No flashlights or batteries.
10. Kendal and Daniel blabber in bed. Nicole was downgraded to a tropical storm.
11. There were like 5 ads.

Second video:
1. Kendal blathers in front of camera. Says Nicole is a funny name. The sun porch is going to get flooded.
2. There's no frog in the pool. Kendal doesn't do time lapses anymore. She wants you to comment if you are an OG and haven't been blocked yet.
3. It's raining. Seb goes to tumbling with a man bun. They bring Micheal Hurricane Starbucks. Sweaty Seb does round off back tuck w/o air track.
4. Kendal and Daniel travel somewhere under evacuation orders. After a lot of stuttering, we learn that it's West Palm Beach and yay, McDonald's is open.
5. Nothing else is apparently open. They've eaten all the of their hurricane junk food already and apparently they are going to starve. But Kendal wants nachos.
6. Big waves. Daniel goes to the beach to film. Gets feet wet. Sound is awful due to the wind. Will these people ever learn to do a voiceover?
7. Storm hits around 8pm. Power flickers around 10:30. But it doesn't make a difference because they are filming with the lights off. The yard is flooded.

What I loved about the hurricane prep video.. was, Danny boy saying "everyone has to take their smoothie outside and have it and get some sun" then they show Evie, Brin, and Kap all in the shade lol Nice sun and gettin vitamin D there.. smh.

We have YouTube premium or whatever it is you pay for so we have no ads thankfully. Does this mean they get no money when I watch them?
I cannot believe they leave that garden furniture out in the rain, never mind in a storm. If we see rain forecast we bring in all soft furnishings to keep them dry. They are water resistent because they’re designed for the outdoors but if I can extend their lifespan I will bring them indoors whenever possible. So the Riches know there’s a storm coming. It’s easy to bring in the cushions and stack the furniture somewhere that it won’t get damaged. However the don’t and then Kendal talks about the chair in the pool but doesn’t even rescue it? That’s some weird mentality.

1. Cheer blah blah blah for two and a half minutes. Kendal cries. Daniel struggles to muster up some excitement. Sebi is getting braces.
2. Two and a half minutes of cheer make up haul in the minivan. Apparently they had to buy a cheer make up kit at the start of the season but Kendal feels that she needs to buy a bunch of stuff to enhance the kit? Also, she ran out of CC cream. Maybe that's why she's had some makeup free vlogs.
3. Twenty seconds of Hobby Lobby Christmas decor.
4. Minute and a half awkward scene where the girls are in the parents' bed and no one can talk right. Kendal does a little show and tell with cheer bows and makeup.
5. About seven incoherent minutes to explain why the house is still on the market. Apparently their real estate agent has some crazy idea about a mortgage buy down and how people become house hungry in South Florida during the winter. Blames Biden.
6. 7 ads. I think this is interesting info. Most of the things I watch usually only have one or two.

Why is Kendal so keen on Christmas decor? Wasn't she going on about how Easter baskets were lame or something? I thought she had this sort of no effort, low celebration approach to the holidays.

Creative financing. Gee. That tends to work well. I hope they do their homework. But doesn't this come at a huge opportunity cost? Weren't they going to rent their home to snow birds for like $40k/month? If they live modestly, they could make sizable extra payments with their rental income.

What is wrong with their ability to speak coherently? It's like the whole family is on the verge of a stroke. Anyone else wondering if Coach Michael is their dealer? Apparently they had practice the day before.

You’re totally correct and Kendal is so narrow minded that she thinks this is only Biden’s fault. This country, which is one of the most affluent countries in the world is also struggling. Fuel prices are through the roof, health insurance is compulsory for everyone but becoming unaffordable for many. Unemployment is rising, interest rates are rubbish, investments are collapsing. And this is a country very much independent of the rest. It’s the only country in the world to be run as a direct democracy. So we can’t even blame the government. This is how the world is at the moment. Kendal is so uneducated and naive that there are only problems in the US due to the current president.

The house is officially delisted on Zillow and Redfin, and I'm sure realtor.com is coming soon. Looks like K&D changed their minds with keeping it on the market. Pointless anyway if they weren't willing to lower the price any further. I'm not surprised-- Kendal didn't seem convinced with keeping it listed, and seemed annoyed in the video. She kept talking about how the showings were a "disruption" and complained at how much of an inconvenience they were. Sorry Kendal, selling your high priced home takes lifting a finger. What was she expecting? She doesn't work, so keeping the house tidy shouldn't be a big deal. Also, what were showings disrupting besides Daniel working from home? Kendal's afternoon fast food and lay in bed moment? They are always out of the house at cheer anyway. Speaking of which, Sebi seems to enjoy all the attention from his mom he's finally getting. I hope that isn't the primary reason he's doing it. Not like Kendal will ever know, though. He probably wouldn't tell her that.

Their views have been especially horrific lately, with less frequent uploads. I wonder what their plans are. There's no way YouTube is paying them very much anymore, as this theme has been going for months now. I wonder how much Daniel makes at his new job-- I'm guessing not much, as it's likely more entry level.

For Kendal constantly having a "very busy day" she sure does have time to read and snap back at comments on her YouTube channel on a regular basis. The bottom line is that KENDAL isn't busy. Her KIDS are. She lives through her kids so she sees herself as busy when really she's not doing anything but driving them to cheer.

In a way, she's just part of a larger zeitgeist that views American politics as a form of team sports. In the same way that we are supposed to hate the Patriots, the Yankees and the Lakers and root on the home town team, we are supposed to have an uncomplicated hate of whatever party is in power. That's not to say that there isn't corruption (see Jerome Powell), but it's the same brand of corruption on both sides of the aisle. Politics is sometimes just a question of whether you want your rotten milk in a red cup or a blue cup.

Direct democracy? Pretty cool.

I would imagine that Europe would have it harder than the US right now. Russia and Ukraine was the source of a lot of food, fertilizer and fuel for the Eastern Hemisphere and the Middle East says that they are going to produce less. Plus after the heat waves, we're all wondering what sort of infrastructure needs to be built there to deal with extreme weather and that might be fairly taxing too.

And the whole world is dependent on China for manufacturing. Unfortunately none of us can afford to have them fall apart. Biden is Xi today. The news outlets are painting the tone of the meeting as belligerent. But I doubt Trump would do much better.
