Has anyone seen that picture of Kendal being used in "her" profile before? I've been watching them and followed on social media since the very beginning and I've never seen it.

Omg yes! It’s gone. It was “cheer mom icks”. In other words, things that cheer moms should/shouldn’t do. One of the things that she got hassle for was saying that a mom shouldn’t be that parent who never hangs out at the gym or doesn’t read emails. Some people were saying that she shouldn’t judge other parents just because they’re not overly involved. Of course she responded like a bitch. The whole tiktok was like an ‘ode to the perfect cheer-mom (aka Kendal)’. I don’t imagine it was too well received.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 3:15 pmDid she take it all down? 2. Kendal has upset someone…I suspect a parent at the gym. A lot of Ig postings about people being upset and offended and then on TikTok some dumb thing about cheer whereby she says other cheer moms shouldn’t feel threatened (not the word she used but it’s the right meaning) by her friendship with Michael outside of the gym

I swear, she treats those girls like they are still six years old and then judges other people for not adopting her brand of neuroticism. Glass is right in that cheer is a dead end, but Kendal can still use it to develop some skills like time management, adult communication, self sufficiency, etc. Shouldn't the kids be reading the emails and summarizing them for the folks? Shouldn't the kids be in charge of making sure that the practice clothes are washed, that the bags are packed, that the water bottles are filled, that the privates are scheduled for the same day and that everyone has their school work to work on while their sibling is in privates? You know Kendal doesn't give those kids any responsibility.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 2:11 amOmg yes! It’s gone. It was “cheer mom icks”. I think my last post got deleted. I was just saying that they stuck another click bait title up and I don't want to watch it because the click bait videos always seem like they will be the most boring.

You’re right. They have no sense of responsibility. But in her mind this makes her the perfect cheer mom. That’s her identity.Seri0usly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 6:59 pmI swear, she treats those girls like they are still six years old and then judges other people for not adopting her brand of neuroticism. Couldn’t find the results from the cheer competition this weekend but obviously none of the Rich kids were on winning teams or it would have been all over the cheer extreme or the Rich family IG.

I think Kapri’s team came in second but the others all didn’t do well. You can tell Kap’s team is Kendal’s favorite, she gushed on and on about them. It’s ridiculous and sad for the others. She barely even cared about Brin’s teamGlass Half Full wrote:Couldn’t find the results from the cheer competition this weekend but obviously none of the Rich kids were on winning teams or it would have been all over the cheer extreme or the Rich family IG.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
From what I can understand from her cheer report splurge, Kapri’s team came 2nd of 2 teams and the other teams had no competition. In other words, the were the only team in their division. Obviously Kendal is most in awe of Kapri‘s team. From what we can see on their vlog, there are better tumblers on Kapri’s team. Kendal talks about how Kapri hates the first tumble which is front walkover to r/o tuck BUT that she lands it beautifully. Kendal doesn’t seem to understand that landing is only part of a tumble. The judges also look at how it’s performed and Kapri’s legs are horribly bent in her front walkover and her somersault is low. Likewise, Sebi‘s legs were awful in his back walkover. Now if the Rich children were really serious about their sport they would be working on their flexibility outside of the gym. Kendal hands out money like water for private tumbling lessons when actually some private flexibility lessons with a yoga teacher might be more beneficial (better flexibility would also reduce their chances of injury). But not the brutal flexibility lessons that we saw Brinley having to endure.Siimplycraziie wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 12:20 pmI think Kapri’s team came in second but the others all didn’t do well. Also I didn’t realise there was a difference between a base and a back spot position. I thought a backspotter also supported the stunter or flyer. But she says that Brinley has moved from a back spot position to a base position and this is a big step up. We saw a tiny snippet of Brinley in her routine and she looks like she has rhythm but I’m still not convinced she loves cheerleading. I know Brinley seems tall compared with the rest of the family but is she actually tall? If she’s tall perhaps she would prefer to be playing basketball or volleyball or doing track and field.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
They have absolutely NO time, to work on flexibility, with how busy they are!!! They have just such busy schedules, how could they possibly fit anything else in? All those shopping trips and dunkin/starbucks trips are an absolute MUST, you know! I honestly think, Kenny thinks that the privates on their own are going to make her kids stars.. she just doesn't get that it takes work at home, during private time. None of those kids has what it takes to become anything more than what they are now.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 1:04 amFrom what I can understand from her cheer report splurge, Kapri’s team came 2nd of 2 teams and the other teams had no competition. Glass, in your opinion, is flexibility something that should be delegated to another instructor or is it something the kids should be responsible for themselves? When my sister and I did sports as kids, we took responsibility for stretching and strength training on our own outside of practice. In fact, we'd probably partner up maybe 3-4 times a week even though we played different sports. My husband played numerous sports and still hit the gym for an hour a day on his own time.

Omg she so reads here. Did you see the video of Michael ‘stretching’ Kapri. Clearly he’s not paying attention and she’s not trying. Stretching exercises like he was doing with her are of absolutely no benefit when done wrong.Seri0usly wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 2:02 pm Glass, in your opinion, is flexibility something that should be delegated to another instructor or is it something the kids should be responsible for themselves? Stretching can be done at home if the child is given a simple but effective program to follow which can be done alone. My gymnasts all have a stretching program to be done minimum 3 time a week at home. The girls who do what they’re supposed to do have demonstrated huge leaps forwards in how their leaps and jumps are being executed in the gym. I can easily tell who isn’t following the program. I think stretching, stability and basic strength work can be done at home without danger and to huge effect if done correctly. The coach, if educated, experienced and interested can easily set these programs.
However, if the child is lazy or disinterested then the parent might need to seek support and have to pay. But to answer your question, this work can be done at home.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
I just watched that IG story of Michael stretching Kapri again and I do not believe he is in anyway qualified. In that stretch the coach should be forcing her hips forwards with his knees to ensure he is stretching her hips and glutes and hamstrings while at the same time using one hand (with force just above her knee) to push the leg that is being stretched into a straight position. By doing what he is doing he is achieving NOTHING! Her leg isn’t straight and her hips are bent. It’s actually unbelievable that he is even allowed to teach! It’s absolutely no wonder that she’s so inflexible. There are a billion exercises that Kapri could be doing to improve her flexibility but doing that stretch with Michael isn’t one of them!

I also noticed that Sebi does not look up at his flyer when he is a base. That should have been the first thing taught as not keeping eyes on your flyer are point deductions I believe.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
I was watching the "Christmas Shopping for 5 Kids" and I saw that Kenny got Brin the Brazilian Bum Bum cream.. my question is.. why does a girl of 14/15 years old, need a skin tightening/firming cream, and why is her Mom all excited to be buying it for her?? There are makeup products etc that I find ok to let kids/teens experiment with.. but, I just think something like that is not needed, especially for Brin.. even Ev. Kenny at her age, sure.. but, not those kids. Am I the only one who's thinking this?

Ew. And why would you put that on camera? That's private. You don't need the tax deduction that badly, Daniel.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 4:43 pm I was watching the "Christmas Shopping for 5 Kids" and I saw that Kenny got Brin the Brazilian Bum Bum cream.. my question is.. why does a girl of 14/15 years old, need a skin tightening/firming cream, and why is her Mom all excited to be buying it for her?? Also if she's having issues with water retention back there, shouldn't her first move be getting a mini trampoline? It's supposed to be good for the lymphatic system. And she can just say that it's to help her get some height on her toe touches. My sister and I used to condition like crazy on one of those things. The last time I saw her, we took the kids to a trampoline park and her toe touches are still amazing. She can do eight in a row.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
In one of Brinley’s more recent vlogs, she talked about having bought Brazilian BumBum cream. I have also used it but I didn’t know it was to aid in the removal of water retention. I thought it was just a good moisturiser . Anyway, the cream itself does nothing. It’s the act of application that improves drainage. It’s the rubbing/massaging of the cream into the skin that helps the lymphatic system.Seri0usly wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 6:42 pmEw. And why would you put that on camera? That's private. I haven’t watched the vlog yet though. Did she buy Evie more than everyone else. Was she really imaginative and bought Lego for Hampton…again?

In her defense, kids that age can never get enough Legos but the clutter becomes insane. If he really doesn't need anything, a class or an experience might be a better choice. There's a ton of Lego Robotics classes out there.

True.. and legos are small and good for his small motor skills, but.. there's sooo many things out there, and yes! experiences! I think he'd have a blast with something meant just for him, (and not disney!!).
