Hampton has an autism diagnosis. They could get free respite care for him.
Speaking of Hampton, if the grandparents contributed to the Florida house, why didn't they contribute to Hampton's adoption costs? Daniel and Kendal went crazy with the fundraising. At the time, Sebi was an infant and Kapri was a toddler. It couldn't have been easy.

They probably wear them outside of competition and practices that’s a big no no!

You always see them walking around their house in them and to the car etc. They shouldn’t be putting them on until they’re inside the gym. It’s definitely one reason why they’re so worn and grossWillow2015 wrote:They probably wear them outside of competition and practices that’s a big no no!

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
I’m not sure Hampton is autistic. In fact I’m not sure he has any concrete diagnosis. Wasn’t he born with fetal alcohol syndrome or something like that? Drugs perhaps? Sure he has poor muscle tone and speech difficulty and obviously intellectual delays but I’m not sure he has autism. If he had an official diagnosis for something I’m sure he would be eligible for so many therapies and also a larger stroller. But they kept him out of school when they moved to Florida giving him no therapy whatsoever. He’s pushed around in a double stroller meant for babies and toddlers. The Rich family has definitely NOT afforded Hampton the help he deserves. And the only reason I can assume this to be the case is that they never actually had him assessed in any great detail. They would/should be entitled to so much help for him but they do nothing. At least he’s been in school for,the past 6 months. And they probably only put him in school to give them more freedom during the day while Daniel is working. We all know that Kendal can’t mind him.Seri0usly wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 10:14 am It's pretty normal to have insane mood swings during a serious breakup. They’ve said Hampton was diagnosed with Autism and Apraxia a long time ago. Back in NC, he had therapy that came to the house and helped him. He also went to school for a while in NC as well.

But do you believe this diagnosis? That’s what I mean. They lie about everything. And it seems every second child is autistic or on the autism spectrum or has ADD. It’d be so easy for them to ‘self diagnose’. If his diagnosis was official why were all his therapies discontinued in Florida and why doesn’t he have a bigger stroller or wheelchair to help him out when they’re traipsing around theme parks.
Speaking of theme parks, have they even been to Disney in the last year? Kendal’s dream of being able to visit Disney all the time seems to have been short lived. They used to go to every Epcot event. They used to go for the day, for the weekend, for a full week vacation. They used to stay in the resort hotels.
What I cannot under Is why they haven’t taken the boys to Legoland. Considering those boys are such Lego fanatics would t you think that might be a nice birthday outing for them?

At least Sebi is out of the stroller. I remember him being pushed around in one at Disney as recently as last year.

He’s only out of it because they don’t go to Disney anymore. Let’s see what happens on the next Disney trip (if there’s one)SwaggySpungo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 12:31 am At least Sebi is out of the stroller. I remember him being pushed around in one at Disney as recently as last year.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
Yeah they’ve really cut back on Disney trips since money has gotten tighter. Kendal even made a nice healthy dinner in the last video instead of getting takeout! They’ve also just been busier with trying to sell their house, open a business, juggle 4 kids in cheer instead of 3, etc. So there’s not as much time to go to Disney constantly. They’ve been at a serious cheer gym for the past couple years, so practice is mandatory during the competitive season- no more pulling kids out of practice for Disney.
There seems to be very little attempt to do anything special or stimulating for those boys unless it’s their birthday maybe. There’s usually only time for Dunkin/Starbucks runs. They must spend thousands a year just on coffee.

I think it’s very possible he was diagnosed with those things especially since he had been in therapy and school before. I think the reason therapy stopped when they moved is simply just because they’re lazy and they genuinely don’t care about hampton’s needs. They very clearly care more about the girls and cheer than anything else. Isn’t hampton in a special needs school right now? Isn’t that why he takes a bus such a long way to get to school? He would need a diagnosis to get into a special needs school.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 10:15 pmBut do you believe this diagnosis? That’s what I mean. They lie about everything. Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
The kid needs an IEP to receive school services. I believe that you need a diagnosis for that.
Wheelchairs and disability strollers in the US are considered AT. Most insurance companies and Medicaid do not cover AT here. Sometimes a school district might if they deem that it is necessary for a student's education. But in Hampton's case the wheelchair/stroller is only necessary at amusement parks for the most part. He doesn't need it for daily life functioning so it's likely that he wouldn't qualify for charitable funding. And one could argue that his muscle tone issues might be better off without the AT. I had a friend who felt that she needed one for her autistic son because he would get exhausted during a long day of doctors appointments and he was getting too big to carry. She couldn't get one through any official source and ended up resorting to GoFundMe. The one she wanted was $1200. It's hard.
As for Brin's shoes... There's a giant chunk missing from her big toe and another giant chunk missing from the ball of her foot. It's not just a hole in the fabric; it looks like a bite was taken out of the rubber. Whatever happened, it went right through the insole if it's leaving her with stained socks. Is the other one like that? I don't think that's normal wear and tear even if she is wearing them outside. If I didn't know better, I'd say that the shoes were either chewed on by a large breed puppy or a mouse had her babies in the shoe.

Can you imagine where Hampton would be if he would have received consistent therapy. How will he function as an adult? All the kids will leave the crazy nest but Hampton will not be able. Kendal does not give this kid a chance...

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
That now explains the Tesla because he may need to drive far wherever he is going...she will actually be more happy. From her small change in YouTube, his new full time job, and selling the home. They may financially get out of all their debt or close to it.
Because we are so used to it, I dare them to mention Duck Donuts lol. I know Evie is just turned 18 but generally kids are planning to go away to college or have a plan....not focused on cheer so much. I just can't see her caring about it. I wonder if Cruz is going away to college.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
I think Hampton could be the only kid that might leave the house before thirty. He won't be able to live independently. So at some point it's likely that they will try to secure a housing allowance and a group home for him. The other kids don't really have an out because of high anxiety, questionable academics and lack of realistic planning.CioBella13 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 4:43 pm Can you imagine where Hampton would be if he would have received consistent therapy. When they first took him out of school and they moved to Florida, he seemed to be making real gains without school and therapy. That was the summer that they potty trained him, he learned to swim, he no longer ate in the high chair, he made more of an effort to communicate and he seemed closer to his family, especially Evie, who, I think, might have been the one primarily homeschooling him even though it was supposed to be Daniel. But now? He seems very, very passive and unresponsive. It could be that he gets very little attention and just retreats into his electronics or it could be that he's on medication that turns him into a zombie. Either way, someone should should notice this and try to fix it.

Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
I thought Daniel already had a new job, that’s why he would go to the clubhouse. Or maybe that was just to meet a girl, who knows.
Maybe a new job that keeps him extremely busy instead of home all the time with nothing to do except realize that Kendal gives him no affection will stop him from cheating. Lol I’d struggle so much staying with a cheating spouse; I think it would make me feel paranoid he was going to do it again.

Kendal has said Evie wants to cheer another year, but I can’t tell if Evie wants that or just Kendal wants that. That was also before Cruz, who she spends a lot of time with. But I imagine any college she does do would be online. And she’d be able to cheer like usual. She has 1 year of age-eligibility left.CioBella13 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 7:20 pmBecause we are so used to it, I dare them to mention Duck Donuts lol. Re: It’s R Life: From Rich to Rags
Kendal was talking about all her kids’ different tumbling privates today and how it’s such a busy schedule on top of their practices, and it had me thinking, why don’t the 4 kids all take the tumbling lesson at the same time? Then it would be a semi-private, where the kids would get enough individualized attention but also get enough rest in between turns. This would stop Kendal from having to drive to the gym like 4 times a day.
But the coach would probably get less money that way. When it’s 1 on 1, he can charge top dollar. And she’s so obsessed with cheer she doesn’t even realize the schedule is too much.

I just can’t imagine paying for all-star cheer for four kids AND private lessons on top of that. And for what? Her kids are mediocre cheerleaders at best. Imagine paying all that money and your kids still aren’t good at what they do. It’s so incredibly wasteful.
I think it’s confirmed Kendal is a shopaholic. She has to spend money every day no matter what it’s on.
I’m always curious to know what the parents of the kids’ friends think of them. If my child wanted to hangout at the Rich house I would be very hesitant to let them.

I'm curious to know the same thing. My guess is that even the few parents that Kendall likes are probably talking crap about her behind her back.disgruntled_pelican wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 5:05 am I just can’t imagine paying for all-star cheer for four kids AND private lessons on top of that. I'm starting to doubt the Duck's Donuts again. How can they open up a franchise is Daniel has a full time job. The franchise would become a full time job in and of itself. Most people who are opening a business are working night and day for the first couple years. I'm wondering if Daniel's new "job" is to go away for Duck's Dunuts training somewhere.
