I cannot imagine the constant stress/pressure/intensity those poor kids must feel with Kendal being so overly invested in their sport. I don’t know how many people see her IG stories each day but posts like ‘suns are ready’ is a statement suggesting they will not make a mistake or the will win.
And do the kids ever have a chance to think for themselves? Do they ensure their uniforms are clean and their bags are packed? And that’s only scratching the surface. Who’s looking at bedtime/recovery time/diet? Probably no one. It’s no wonder Kapri hates competition. I doubt she ever has time to mentally prepare. Kendal must be always talking, analyzing, criticizing, forecasting.

Some of parents punish the kids on that team when they don’t hit their stunts, including Kendal. They take away the phones etc…. I found that very strange but I also don’t have kids in cheerleading. Is this something that is common? Personally I thought it sounded cruel.

Where did you hear that? That they’re punished? This definitely isn’t right. Why are they being punished and why do the parents feel this is appropriate? If the child makes a mistake she will likely beat herself/himself up. They don’t need punishment from a parent too!

A parent from the team told me. Only a few parents do it apparently. It’s sad to say the least

Very small cheer comp for them this weekend. Not sure if it’s a 1 or 2 day comp but most categories with only one or two teams and cheer extreme won none. Kapri‘s team seemed to have a major disaster with 1.25 in deductions.

It should be a 2 day comp. Sebi’s team scored terribly. None of the Cheer Extreme teams scored well. Kapri’s team is actually pretty good, but if you can’t hit your routine regularly it doesn’t matter. 1.25 deductions likely means they dropped 1 stunt and the flyer hit the floor without them catching her well.

I’m not sure how much this gym knows what they’re doing lol. But I don’t think there are any overwhelmingly better options in their area though.

Is there anyone here (or lurking) who knows the story behind how Daniel took over the mac and cheese place? It feels like handing over ownership of a whole restaurant takes time and a lot of paperwork. Is this a legit ownership or is he just a glorified manager? Either way it feels like the Rich fam got swindled into taking over something that is not going to be successful and is going to be WAY more work than either of them (Daniel or Kendal) are prepared for.

It also sounds like Kendal wants NOTHING to do with it. When it was going to be Duck Donuts she would always call it “our store” and now she calls the mac and cheese place “Daniel’s store”. She wants no part of any of it and considers it Daniel’s job, not hers. It’s bizarre. Why invest so much and then just be so uninterested.

Last thing- anyone familiar with health and safety code violations? Kenny posted a pic of Brin and Kap behind the counter with their hair down and no gloves. Another pic of them “serving” the mac (wearing gloves this time but hair still down) and then a video of them just messing around with the food. I wonder if there are rules around who can be behind the counter and who can be around the food/dress code. When EV had to work Daniel told her she had to wear a uniform with her hair pulled back. Maybe it’s not a big deal since they didn’t actually serve anyone but these two are so flippant with rules I would not be surprised if they eventually got hit with a health code violation.

I wondered about the hair too. Maybe they weren’t actually serving anyone but Kendal but that doesn’t stop a stray hair from landing on the trays of food and ending up in someone else’s meal.
BTW on YT someone asked why they didn’t film in the restaurant and Kendal said there were too many costumers (not customers). I’m sure it was just a typo but I did chuckle.

I also find it weird why she was fully planning to work behind the counter in DD but in M and C she has no intentions of working there.

I also don’t think there are a lot of great options for cheer in their area but it seems like Cheer Extreme is one of the weaker ones. Why didn’t they go to Palm Beach Lightening. They seemed to do well in the competition this weekend. I know Rafael and Adriana went there after Wellington Cougars and Fire.
