She’s trying to make “the other woman” jealous by pretending her marriage is a fairy tale now. Daniel chose her not the other woman. A cheater chose you, Kendal, congrats.

20 years of a supposedly unhappy marriage and suddenly it’s perfect now that Daniel cheated. Right.

Kendal’s saying the right things, it just doesn’t apply to her own life, at least not yet. She’s still trying to fill the void with material goods to “treat herself” since she’s not getting enough of that from Daniel. Has he ever taken her on a weekend getaway or vacation to celebrate an anniversary or birthday? They only just now are even starting to go on dates.

Maybe all those constant Disney World trips Kendal used to insist on were to try to fill the void of never getting to go on a “grownup vacation” with her husband. She still acts 15 and wants to be BFF with her barely teenage kids because she doesn’t have a healthy enough adult relationship yet. Hopefully for her sake things keep improving, but the “my marriage is so healthy and blissful now” seems more like wishful thinking than a reality.

It looks like they may have finally settled on a rental. It’s nice and modern looking, but the bedrooms are so small. They were talking about fitting the two girls’ beds side by side in one room, and I was like, how in the world are you fitting 2 beds in there, never mind any other furniture. The room they thought would be Evie’s I don’t know how her bed would even fit in there unless she downsized to a twin bed. I wish they have brought the girls so we could have seen their reactions to such tiny rooms! The rooms look much more suited for bunk beds.

Looks like the girls are basically on strike and are no longer appearing in the vlogs. And if they do make an appearance, it's for maybe a few minutes, tops.

And until she and Daniel began acting like teenagers in love, kendal was still obsessed with cheer. Now she barely mentions it. Obviously cheer was filling a void in her life. She couldn’t talk to B, K or S without asking them how cheer was going, whether tonight’s practice was going to be good or not, if they were nervous or excited, now all I hear is crickets.

There are millions of people in the world who live in something a lot smaller. While renting is a waste of money, especially if they have enough to buy a home, I suspect Kendal and Daniel aren’t sure still if they have a future together or not and if they do, where that future will be so holding off on making a huge purchase seems to be a sensible financial decision for once!

Yeah and they’re already joking about Evie moving out at 18, she rarely seems to be home. They likely aren’t going to need a huge house going forward. But for now, they do have 5 kids, and while the rest of the rental home looks like a perfectly fine size, those bedrooms definitely look tight for 2 kids in a room. Imagine the whining that would ensue if the girls had to go from their spacious comfortable rooms to bunk beds. I’m curious how those rooms look when they try to cram 2 beds in there.

Good observation that Kendal barely mentions cheer anymore. She seems to think nobody wants to watch the cheer vlogs, but the channel in general is struggling, it’s not specifically cheer. I wonder if the fact their teams never get great results has also caused her to be a little less obsessed with it. Constantly not being competitive at competitions can wear on you. But she did seem sad last weekend that they weren’t in Nashville for the competition because only Evie’s team was scheduled to go to that one.

It’s not always a waste of money to rent - there are lots of reasons one would choose renting over buying. I think for Daniel and Kendal it’s 100% related to their finances. They can’t afford to buy with interest rates so high and with their very limited, unpredictable income. I wouldn’t give them so much credit for being sensible when we know these two are anything but

It’s not always a waste of money to rent - there are lots of reasons one would choose renting over buying. I think for Daniel and Kendal it’s 100% related to their finances. They can’t afford AND probably can’t get the financing since they haven’t had good income in while. PLUS I’m sure they are deep in debt loans for the mac and cheese finance. I think they are blowing about 60,000 a year on this rental but they have no choice.

The rooms were SO small and the girls said they were excited to move because they were getting their own rooms, guess not, and if I remember correctly there was only one bathroom for all four kids to share upstairs
