Still no word on Evie graduating?
Also, if my daughter couldn’t see something close up and needs to borrow reading glasses that still didn’t help much … needs to be seen by an eye doctor and get some corrective lenses!

Re: It's R Life: Flashy, Trashy, and Broke
In today’s episode, Kendal and Evie planned her baby shower, they all made fun of Hampton’s smile, and Daniel messed up the time of Brinley’s DMV appointment once again (have they ever heard of keeping a calendar).
Kendal confirmed Evie’s definitely not going to college, and Evie & her teenage boyfriend are “definitely getting married”. Evie is “ready for kids” at 18 and just wants to be a stay-at-home mom while Cruz works. Shocking, I know. When has Kendal ever stressed education. They don’t even seem to care that Evie is graduating high school, which is a milestone to be celebrated (maybe because their home school is a joke). I’m glad Evie has a boyfriend she likes, but part of me wants them break up to see what would happen to Evie’s “do nothing” plan.

Is it possible that Evie didn’t finish school and won’t graduate? I don’t know how homeschooling works but does she have to do final exams or simply finish the curriculum? Maybe she hasn’t done school all year. Maybe she can’t graduate. And maybe that’s why they’re so sure she won’t go to college.

I haven't been watching much lately, but read a few pages back that Brinley is getting a nose job.
This is a real thing and not just a joke?

Re: It's R Life: Flashy, Trashy, and Broke
I can’t wait to see evie trying to be a stay home mom on a starting firefighters pay. Maybe 50/60,000 a year. And that’s if he can even pass fiirefighter school and then find a station that will hire him. This child has no clue and neither does her mother. Evie has no clue what it cost to live in south Florida and raise a family. Kendal lives in fantasy land and has taught her daughter to do the same. No work ethic and all laziness. These children will be living with their parents forever! Daniel better go get a third and fourth job to keep up. They are going to need a large home. Oh wait, he is already looking for his third job nowGymfan wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 7:50 pm In today’s episode, Kendal and Evie planned her baby shower, they all made fun of Hampton’s smile, and Daniel messed up the time of Brinley’s DMV appointment once again (have they ever heard of keeping a calendar).

Re: It's R Life: Flashy, Trashy, and Broke
I’m sure she finished school, they just don’t care because they don’t value an education. I’m sure they wouldn’t even homeschool if it wasn’t required by the state to do so. Funny because they only thing keeping Daniel employable is his college degree and his engineering experience.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:10 pm Is it possible that Evie didn’t finish school and won’t graduate? I would love to see EV fall on her face a few times instead of living in lala land where she thinks being married and having kids is the ideal life.

Re: It's R Life: Flashy, Trashy, and Broke
You would think seeing her father cheat and Kendal not being able to make it on her own would be enough of a lesson for her to not want to depend on a man but I have a feeling Evie is lazy like her mom with no drive whatsoever. These kids were way to sheltered and are going to have a rude awakening in the real worlddisgruntled_pelican wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 11:16 amI’m sure she finished school, they just don’t care because they don’t value an education. Idk. I feel like she will keep working at shark wave park or go back to something like that. She’ll likely have to - there are very few places where you can support a family comfortably on a single salary (unless it’s ridiculous!) and south Florida is definitely not one of them!Elon557 wrote:You would think seeing her father cheat and Kendal not being able to make it on her own would be enough of a lesson for her to not want to depend on a man but I have a feeling Evie is lazy like her mom with no drive whatsoever. I still CANNOT believe that they are so open about the fact that she works there! It’s so dangerous!! Anyone who watches their videos knows where to find her, and they have said that she works almost everyday!

The kid still decorates her room with stuffed animals on her bed and is talking about being a stay at home mom. What is wrong with this family?!?

I think people exaggerate how expensive it is to raise children. Especially small children. Feeding them is not expensive, as they eat what you eat, just smaller portions. Clothing them isn’t expensive unless you need your toddler in designer brands 24/7. Schooling is free. And if you are a full-time mom, there’s no daycare costs.

It’s not about the cost of raising children, it’s the cost of living in south Florida and your basic needs on one income. It can be challenging on a firefighter’s paySwaggySpungo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 4:45 pm I think people exaggerate how expensive it is to raise children. Especially small children. They’ll need to pay rent, pay bills, fulfil basic needs like food and clothing, pay for house insurance, car insurance, health insurance, personal insurance, fuel a car….and this all just basic stuff…no holidays, lunches out, fun activities, unforeseen expenses.Elon557 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 5:09 pmIt’s not about the cost of raising children, it’s the cost of living in south Florida and your basic needs on one income. Having a kid isnt expensive per se. It’s the cost of leading an independent life as a family that’ll be hard at age 20.
Have you seen Kendal making a mockery of her fans and subscribers on TikTok? She names them too. How stupid is this woman? These are the people paying her bills!

Re: It's R Life: Flashy, Trashy, and Broke
Lol tell me you know nothing about raising a kid. Kids eat what you eat? Yeah, sure. Diapers and formula alone are hundreds of dollars a month for the first year (and beyond). Health insurance is costly. You can do things on the cheap but there are a lot of expenses involved. And not everyone can be a full time mom.SwaggySpungo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 4:45 pm I think people exaggerate how expensive it is to raise children. Especially small children. Not to mention all of those unexpected expenses- hospital/doctor visits that might not be covered by insurance or only covered after meeting an astronomically high deductable, expensive car repairs, expensive home repairs ... And of course all the day to day living costs (some mentioned above or prior posters), but the list can go on and on...like gas, car maintenance, traffic tickets, etc.disgruntled_pelican wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 5:38 amLol tell me you know nothing about raising a kid. Personally, I am a stay at home mom(but I had a career for 10 years before staying at home). Unlike Kendall, I don't spend my days going to the mall, Target and Starbucks buying things that only tweens would get excited about. However, Evie looks at her mom and thinks that's what being a stay at home mom is all about. She has a very naive view of life and pretty soon her parents will be in no position to bail her out financially should an issue arise (which inevitably will happen).

Same…I had a career til the first was born but I’ve been a SAHM for the past 20 years. Honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I was at Starbucks. I also dont go shopping daily. Our spare money goes into renovations and holidays. Luckily my husband has a well paid job and we have a great life but it wouldn’t be so great if I were to be splashing cash everyday on ridiculously over priced lululemon shorts and daily trips to Dunkin’ or Starbucks. And we get takeout once a week…not every day.Cheerinfo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 8:52 amNot to mention all of those unexpected expenses- hospital/doctor visits that might not be covered by insurance or only covered after meeting an astronomically high deductable, expensive car repairs, expensive home repairs ... Exactly! Kendall has set a terrible example of even how to be a good stay at home mom- she just teaches her kids to waste money on frivolous and overpriced items. I don't even think that people who actually have money go to the mall as often as she does.Glass Half Full wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:02 amSame…I had a career til the first was born but I’ve been a SAHM for the past 20 years. Also, Kendall spends money she does not even have, hence why they had to sell their house and the dumb SUV purchase. She’s a bad example all aroundCheerinfo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:47 amExactly!
