I never watched 8 Passengers but now I wish I would have out of curiosity to see if there were signs of trouble. Malnourished duck taped children? What on earth? That makes Kendal seen sane. At least give the kids fast food like Kendal!

I watched them, and it was bad. I always wanted to know why no one close to them turned them in for child abuse. I remember one dinner, Ruby served them one chicken leg each and one of the kids grabbed a bag of chips.. that was their meal for a growing family!! And, expecting a 6 year old girl to remember to pack her own lunch and take it herself, or she doesn't get food.. and with-holding food for this or that.. taking away beds because of jokes.. it was a lot.

In the latest vlog they made fun of the 8 Passenger people for not feeding their kids, then proceeded to feed their own kids 2 fast food meals in one day. There’s a happy medium in between the 2 types of crazy. Kendal thinks she’s so above other vloggers though.

Evie is old enough to make that decision but the younger ones should definitely be private. She enjoys the drama and calling people out for clout more than protecting her children. Kendal told a long-winded story about Hampton’s bus being missing, but then never exactly explained what the actual problem was and why it took over 2 hours for Hampton to get home. I would hope she is smart enough to put some form of identification in his backpack with his name and parents’ phone numbers.

They’ll never get him help with his speech because they think his mispronunciations are “cute”.

Kapri’s layout looks pretty good, all the private tumbling lessons and being at a better gym is actually doing something. And she doesn’t seem to mind the additional lessons, so I think it’s worth the money, especially because it gets her out of her house for something other than Starbucks/Target. It’s also giving her a work ethic she’ll never get from “doing school” in bed.

Kendal pretending she cooks is so funny. Evie wouldn’t have to order loads of processed frozen meals if her mother actually cooked healthy meals.

They mentioned that Sebi is going to a youth group. Maybe they finally realized they were sheltering him so severely he wasn’t meeting any boys his age.

And she wouldn’t find it necessary if Kendal ever taught her how to eat properly and nutritiously instead of constant fast food/takeout. Their habits are so unhealthy and they don’t know how to fix them except by “dieting”. The best is when Daniel thinks he’s helping himself by doing a long fast, and then he immediately goes back to eating fast food right after.

Ive been gone for a while. Not to put you on the spot or anything but has Evie gained that much weight to the point of full-blown dieting? I feel bad for her but at least it seems like she has a supportive boyfriend. I also feel like a teen shouldn't have to buy her own food, her parents should be supplying preferably healthy stuff but she knows Kendals only gonna continue to drag her down with the fast food instead of changing for the better & healthier.

I thought about this too. When teens stop growing (upwards) they tend to grow outwards (especially girls) and especially if they don’t actually understand the nutritional value of food. The fact that evie thinks these factor meals are the way to achieve a healthy diet is nothing but sad. I remember when they moved to Florida Kendal said she was never cooking again. And that since they could afford it, they would order food. What I don’t think she realized was the negative impact this would have on their children’s perception of food and nutrition.
If I thought I could feed my family nutritious and healthy meals by never cooking, I’d do it (since covid lockdowns a HATE cooking) but I know that nothing compares to making meals from scratch. The most convenience I’ll use is a curry paste rather than mixing a spice blend myself, but otherwise there’s almost no fast or processed food in this house. In Kendal’s house there’s almost no unprocessed food and now her adult (evie is 18) daughter thinks the only way to a healthy lifestyle is though ready made meals. This is warped!

No she’s not enormous. Evie is definitely bigger than her sisters but she always was. She lost a bit of weight around age 16 but I think her lifestyle is probably one consisting of eating a lot of fast food and not doing a lot of exercise. However it’s nothing more than a healthy nutritious diet and maybe a 3 mile jog each day can’t fix. I feel Kendal can’t cook. And she doesn’t try either. She says herself that a lot of her meal ideas come from TikTok. I’ve seen a lot of the food stuff posted on TikTok and they are NOT healthy…huge amounts of cheese and tins of soup and all sorts of pre-made sauces from jars and cans.
Kendal says kids learn at home and therefore don’t need to go to school. In school they probably learn how to cook! Kendal definitely doesn’t teach her kids how to cook.

This doesn’t bother me. We do too…gymnastics inside, track outside.
Sure everyone moans about the heat but it doesn’t harm the athletes or coaches.
