The jet tour is a tiktok filter. She just used it to say they designed and bought a jet. Others are saying they’ve rented (the same jet) to fly to Disney. It’s just Kendal wishing she were rich and hoping people will believe the same.

On Ig yesterday she posted a pic of some denim shorts and wrote ‘progress’. I’m assuming she means she’s lost weight and she is getting rid of clothes that are too big. I half hoped she’d meant she was growing up and getting rid of her teen-style clothes. Because that really would be progress

And another $500 blown at Sephora, where she shops frequently. I don’t know how she does it. I guess when shopping in the priority over providing for your kids’ futures, you can afford it. Some parents pay for their children’s college educations, but this family doesn’t value that. Sebi will have to work forever at a grocery store or something to be able to afford attending a university. And the girls probably just think they’re supposed to rely on a man to provide a future for them. Teenage Cruz is going to take care of Evie forever obviously, and I’m sure the Wake Park pays well.

In a way I’m with Kendal on kids attending or not attending college. Traditionally the highest earners are those who go to college but it definitely isn’t the rule. Our eldest finished school 2 years ago. She’s been working part time since then. She was recently contacted by a major U.S. university offering her a full scholarship. They paid for her to go visit and she has made the decision to take their offer. It’s based on her athletic achievements. We are not American, nor do we live close to the US. The last trip from here to there took 19 hours. This will be a massive move for her. But would she have gone to college if she hadn’t received this scholarship? Probably but I don’t know when.
The second child says she wants to go to college. She has two more years of school. The third isn’t sure yet. We are not forcing it, not encouraging it but also not discouraging it. We’ve made it clear to our children that they must finish school and pass! If they want to continue with the lifestyle that they’ve become accustomed to, then a college degree will most likely help them command a higher wage. But by no means are they failures for not going to college.

This is true. A high school diploma alone isn’t enough. I forgot that the school system in the US is not the same as in this country. Here the kids spend 3 or 4 years in an apprenticeship (working and school simultaneously) before graduation at the age of 18 or 19. My eldest and youngest did (are doing) pharmacy, the middle is in architecture. They leave high school with a vast amount of experience. Evie has nothing. And if Cruz decides Evie isn’t the one for him, Evie has little opportunity. Imagine cornering Cruz at the age of 20 and telling him he’ll be solely responsible for financially supporting a family. If I were him I’d run for the hills!

I wish we had that in the US. The kids come out of high school, and sometimes college, without knowing how to do anything. School doesn’t do a good enough job of exposing them to and preparing for jobs. A high school diploma won’t get you anywhere unless you’re in a job that doesn’t require anything more than that (aka Shark Wake Park). The Rich kids should at least feel that college is an *option* if they choose to go, and that Mom & Dad can afford to pay for at least some of it, without blowing all their money on shopping and cars.

Glad to see Kendal making a small effort to cook…or at least not buy fast food for every meal. Not sure she actually cooks. Seems to just put pre made things in the crockpot. It’s probably beyond her abilities to make her own honey and garlic sauce. Everything must come from a package or jar and every receipt from TikTok.
