Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
Jamila and her "minions" (which is really just her on other accounts) are always talking about her SO she never does on her youtube channel anymore ... she moved to Lawrence to be with a donor she met on craigslist but that went sour quick, supposedly he did not want her to move down there she just did that on her own
anyway back to the point ...just think her new vids are super sad
so alone
giving birth in the hospital totally alone, sounds like they rushed her crazy ass ...she says this is routine or how they want it to be but that has not been my experience just seems like a way for her to rationalize the fact that she had no one there and that she just wanted to give birth and go home, gets the baby home no real celebration either, just another day
no famly, no friends, and you know it is because of her actions not because that is the way she wants it to be no woman wants that for herself sorry! NO woman wants that!

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
I'm watching one of her videos now and some of what I'm seeing disturbs me. She went to pick up her daughters from school and neither she, nor the girls, wore seat belts. Short ride or not, children always need to wear a belt in my opinion--especially the one in the front seat.
Also, they were shopping and all four of them walked away from the baby, who was left on the ground in his car seat, and she tried to shift some of the blame onto her kids. She said "ya'll left him here!" Um, no, you are his mother, he is *your* responsibility, so *you* left him.
Her daughter's 11th birthday was featured in the video and Jamilla actually told her she was too old for Barbies! Is 11 really too old for Barbies? I loved dolls pretty much from day one and played with Barbies until I was 14. My ten year old sister still played with baby dolls, so am I missing something here? Kids grow up fast enough as it is, why make them grow up even more?

You are NEVER too old for dolls. I am in my mid twenties and I still collect dolls.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
I'm 27 and still love dolls! I threw away most of my Barbies and Barbie related items years ago, but saved my absolute favorites for when I have daughters. Part of me actually regrets doing that because as old as I am, I wouldn't mind having them to play with. My mom loves dolls too and used to have a collection of them when I was growing up. I don't know what happened to them, but they were mini porceline dolls from different cultures. Her favorite one was a nun. I find it interesting that Jamilla felt her daughter was too young for a padded bra, but too old for Barbies. What exactly is age appropriate for her? lol
Yes, I agree, that did seem more like a day in the life as opposed to a week in the life. You would think her week would be busier with a new baby. I did have to laugh when she asked whom Jacob most resembled. No one knows what the father looks like, so what are our options?!

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that! I couldn't understand why she was so obsessed with filming everything when she only has a handful of subscribers! As much as people around here seem to hate Jessica, Tayler, Lindsey, etc. at least they have a substantial fanbase, so it makes sense for them to stay on top of filming. I mean seriously, a few dozen people won't mind if you put your camera down a minute, Jamilla.thelittlefamilyof3 wrote:"y'all left my baby all alone..'' Also, her filming in the car while she and her children were without seat belts really pissed me off. It bothers me enough as it is when vloggers do that, but a video camera without seat belts is just a recipe for disaster. I don't know if I saw this wrong, but was Jacob's car seat seat belted in? From what I saw it didn't look like it.
And why in the world are you taking a newborn infant into the world so much? I thought babies were supposed to stay in doors for the first few weeks of life, except for doctor's appointments? I have a question for the moms on this board--how long did you wait to take your babies to the store or out in general? It seems to me it would have made sense for her to have hired a sitter before Jacob's birth so she could be there to help out.
She was also dogging on her daughter because she wanted birthday cake flavored ice cream with her cake. What is the big deal? If Jamilla didn't want that particular flavor, all she had to do was buy the Neopolitan as well and leave it at that. Why would you pick on the birthday girl for no reason? Let the girl eat cake and ice cream in peace. It's all unhealthy, so what difference does it make?

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
I actually took my daughter out when she was just a few days old. Of course, we didn't let anyone touch her, and we were sanitizing our hands like crazy lol. But I am a firm believer in letting kids get exposed to things (within reason of course). She has only been sick 1 time in 18 months. We also felt it was really important for her to be well socialized with people, other children, etc...She is now one of the most spunky, outgoing, little girls I have ever seen. She will go up to people and just randomly hug them lol.MemyselfandI wrote:I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that! Everything Jamila does is for a reason to benefit herself. She doesn't care that all her kids have different dads. It's what SHE wants. She doesn't care that there is no male role model in her children's life. It's what SHE wants. She doesn't care that she has issue with people EVERYWHERE she does. It's nothing she does wrong, it's everyone else! She is certifiable.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
Yeah, I noticed that about her. I watched her videos about how the hospital staff were "discriminating against her" and I really didn't see the problem. I know that tone and body language also play a factor, but just from what she is saying, I didn't see the need to be so offended. The administrator was just doing her job, and many people do need that information. I wouldn't necessarily judge someone for taking a cab home from the hospital, but when she said that I was surprised. Public transportation isn't the greatest where I live (Michigan), so I just take for granted that people drive cars.
Thank you for answering the question I had. I hope I didn't sound judgmental or anything, I was just surprised to see a 9 day old baby out and about like that. I guess in your case taking your daughter out early worked. I'm impressed at how personable she seems and how little she has been sick. I used to work in childcare and children that age were sick constantly. Some of the things they came down with I didn't know people still got anymore, lol. When I have kids, maybe I won't be as strict or paranoid about taking them out as I originally planned.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
That really bothers me about her personality, too. I know it's normal to blame others sometimes, but not all the time! If you are the common denominator in every scenario, maybe you need to take that into consideration. How can someone be almost 40 years old and still act so immature.thelittlefamilyof3 wrote:MemyselfandI wrote:Everything Jamila does is for a reason to benefit herself. When I was in my early 20s, I was having some relationship issues and rather than just blame the men, I took a long, hard look at myself and realized I had some things I needed to work on. Instead of just blaming everyone else, I took a years-long hiatus from dating and really reflected on myself and grew as an individual, because I knew blaming everyone else for everything wouldn't do me any good. I'm in a relationship now, but I kind of miss my single days, lol.
I'm looking forward to the drama of her going back to work and having to find a sitter. I bet that she will have to "fire" her nanny because the nanny is against her for being a single working mom.

She works from home, I think. Lazy bitch can't even get off her ass to get out of the house and go to a job.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
she had a live in nanny when she was TTC if any of you all remember? and she said the woman was unstable had issues was against her... had issues with her kids
-___-
why did she need a live in nanny anyway LOL, she says she did not need the stress of the kids while TTC haha so the nanny was there to help out
really I think she could not afford the nanny..and as you guys said she can not get a long with anyone, and blames everyone else instead of taking accountability for the fact that she has no friends and no family just her kids.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
OMFG. That just confirms it. She didn't need to stress of her kids while trying to have ANOTHER kid???? Yep. She only sees her children as $$$$. The more kids she pops out, the more assistance she gets, and the more money she gets back at tax time. What a piece of work.surferbunny wrote:she had a live in nanny when she was TTC if any of you all remember? and she said the woman was unstable had issues was against her... had issues with her kids

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
She had just upped and moved to Lawrence to follow some donor dude that supposedly she was in a relationship with she is super busy with work ( she works at home ) to busy to take her kids to school, all of it so.. she needs an in home babysitter
makes sense right?
she goes on about how she is not rich (tho it seemed to me she just wanted to get the live-in babysitter once she moved like she wanted to feel or seem well off) Jamila is on welfare lol
she then goes on about how scary it is because you do not know who you are hiring she ended up hiring a woman who had all her kids taken away by the State -__- the woman was always asking Jamila to testify in court for her
yeahhhhh....
she just picked anyone just to say she had a live-in babysitter, she later got rid of the woman accusing her of all kinds of stuff, ofcourse, because that is Jamila

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
Oh yeah, I forgot about that nanny fiasco. I couldn't believe that she hired someone who was in a CPS war with her sister. I can't stand people who unnecessarily call the state on people. Hating someone is fine, but don't punish the kids. The kids are the ones who always suffer in the end, and they are in no way to blame for their parents' foolishness. (if there was any foolishness to be had)
What do you think about that video Jamilla made about CPS being called on her twice? I could kind of understand the neighbor's concerns, but I think I would want to talk to someone first and get to know them and their situation before making such a serious accusation...unless of course it was a dire emergency. (rape, incest, starvation, etc.)
Since she has had CPS called on her twice, I'm kind of surprised that a social worker didn't visit her in the hospital or at home after Jacob's birth. I thought that was standard procedure for someone with a record with CPS. I've even heard of cases where babies are immediately placed in state care after birth, but I think that is in extreme circumstances. Still, I can just imagine the video Jamilla would make if that were to happen.

Re: Terrycloth97(Jamila)
Maybe they dropped the ball, two reports does not seem like much, maybe they just overlooked the whole thing..sadly and decided not to pay her a visit after Jacobs birth
all I know is ...
she is crazy as hell and gets along with no one, god forbid she ever need help or that the single mom falls sick or anything like that those kids have NO ONE but her, she secludes herself and her kids from everyone!
just super unhealthy, she also is very paranoid everyone is out to get her lol, kill her, break into her home, kidnap her kids (which no offense but why would they do that? again no offense but ... seriously why?) she projects these fears onto her kids constantly aswell
crazy
