I don't understand how she has only lost such a minimal amount of weight... I've lost 34 pounds in the last three and a half months by just drinking water and eating the recommended amount of calories from my doctor. (which is 1450). I don't even eat clean, I eat proceeded food and I have NOT stepped foot in a gym since I had my youngest which is over a year ago. Yes losing weight isn't easy for some people, and if she's working out as much as she says she is, she will gain muscle mass. There is NO way she is going to weigh 120 pounds by August lol. I think it's hilarious how she compares her body now to her 14-15 year old body. Even is she didn't have kids, she wouldn't weight 120 pounds..
can I get pregnant from this?

I don't know why, but I didn't even think of this. People don't generally keep the same body they had at 14-15- that would not be health (most the time). My body has definitely changed since then, and not just in terms of weight but also shape. I'm still slim build, but I'm more curvy, if that makes sense. She should have lost more than 3 pounds. She is right to focus more on measurements because she will see more results that way because she doesn't have a lot of weight to lose but she should have lost 10 pounds by now I think.

I re-watched MiMi's grocery haul, I think they're so misinformed about what their daily sugar in take should be. Just by using myFitness pal, I found out that one of those yogurts they "snack on" is roughly 15 grams of sugar, one glass of the organic fat free milk they drink is roughly 33 grams of sugar. People are so misinformed about "fat free" and "low fat" foods. The majority of food products (mostly dairy) that claim to be low fat or fat free use sugars to sweeten the food itself and make it taste good without fats in it. The average person should only be consuming between 25-30 grams of sugar daily, this doesn't count natural sugars from fruits and veggies. Sugar ends up becoming fat, so too much of it would cause you not to lose an excessive amount of weight because they're is still a major amount of fat in your body. I have a hunch That Lindsey may be consuming too much sugar for someone of her stature, I'm not doctor, so I don't know, and not to mention, the only vegetables I saw in the video were spinach and frozen peas... where are the fruits and fresh veggies..
can I get pregnant from this?

That's so true. I've said it a few times in this thread, that Mimi should go and see a dietician. She has a lot of weight to lose as well as health problems and she really would benefit from seeing a dietician and being placed on a proper diet. A lot of people are not aware of how much sugar is added to "fat free" products or the additives that are used to give the flavour instead. I agree completely. I do applauded MiMii for the hard work she has put in and the weight that she has lost, but what I think a lot of people don't realize is when you're that big and have a lot more weight to lose, you drop pounds like it's going out of style. It's not until your body is close to its ideal weight that losing weight gets difficult and she has a LONG way to go, especially if she wants to get down to the 150's, and needs to be on a very strict diet... Not to mention that in her weight loss tag video she basically stated that she would never get cosmetic surgery related to weight loss in any way, I hope she knows that the skin that has been stretched on her body will not tighten up properly by itself due to the fact that it is so stretched and if she does lose the amount of weight that she wants (awesome if she does) that she will have lose skin without surgery.staceybrax wrote: That's so true. It's probably more so about portion sizes and the kinds of sugars they are eating. A glass of low-fat milk would be alright every now and then. But people still have to live as well, and their diets are probably SUPER healthy compared to what they used to be. I'm sure their diets could be better. Mine could be better too. Hahaha

I have no idea what happened, I haven't watched the video.. but if you consider just the weight, sometimes you don't vary that much if your body "substitutes" the adipose tissue with muscle mass. Muscles are heavier.
I think the most reliable thing to check are how your clothes fit, if you feel better, if you look smaller, overall if your body is functioning better (TMI, when you eat just processed foods or lots of them, constipation is a common problem).

Last time that her body was not affected by pregnancy, anti-depressants, birth-control, post-partum, she was a pre-adolescent.
All these things can turn a metabolism upside down. Lindsey simply doesn't know what kind of metabolism she has, because basically she went through one thing after the other since she hit puberty.
I would be concerned about Kristy(sp?) heart condition. I'm serious, sometimes does less harm to be still all the times than starting to work out improperly, even if it's just a fast walk, she has history of serious conditions, dietitians are there mainly for situations like hers.

I agree, Kristy needs to see a dietician. She can get the numbers she needs for her health conditions and weight. She is obsessed with the biggest loser so she know they have a dietician before and during the whole journey.

Atleast they are eating some what healthier, I think mimi s more dedicated with the weight lose than Lindsey is. And doesn't Lindsey and her brother both attend the same college? Mimi said there was a tornado spotted near LINDSEYS college. Damn favoritism

Did anyone else notice how many times she said "we" (meaning her and her mom, I'm assuming) instead of "I" in Braiden's update? For example: "WE bought him a new water bottle.Instead of "I"
I really wish she could take more responsibility for her children. I'm in the same sort of living situation with two kids as well. (I am however two years old) Which shouldn't change anything, and I can't even imagine having my mom look after my children all day, not to mentionI'm sure Alex provides for Andrew a fair bit, but when she said "Jared buys 100$ worth of stuff a month" Seriously? $100 of stuff for a two year old in a month? I imagine Kristy is the one paying for everything else...

Poor kid, her probably thinks the actual term is "big brudder" since Mimi and linds refuse to talk to him like hes a actual person, and talk to him in that horrid baby voice. Hes probably never heard the term "big brother" pronounced properly

i think this whole lindsey moving out on her own thing is because of her friend cassidy. shortly before her video where she mentioned all of this, her and alex had helped cassidy move into her own place. im guessing she got the itch for her own place after she saw her friend growing up.

I liked seeing Cassidy in that one video she did with her a long time ago(way before Andrew or Alex haha). Cassidy reminds me SOOOOO much of my bestfriend haha, I think she seems like a really nice girl
