I have watched her in the past but this woman annoys the hell out of me. Her, Lora and a few others. I only recently started watching just to see what she's having and when I "watch" I have to skip parts. After watching her water birth, I've seen enough. She's super annoying to the max and also seems like a selfish bitch. It seems it's her way or no way. I do believe she has a name. She's just riding it out cause she can. She loves to play this game. She's a real good liar too. I do not believe half of what comes out her mouth. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I can understand any new mom wanting to hold the baby and not really wanting to hand him/her to someone else, but in situations like that where it could turn into an emergency situation if she doesn't follow the midwife's instructions, it's just foolish and selfish of her to act like that. It's not like they're gonna steal the baby from her.

Yeah, I have to agree. The midwife needed to check the baby's vitals.

The midwife wanted to check Lucy and not just the baby. The cord was too short to hand the baby over. It was just difficult with the pool and the water being high. They typically don't hand the baby over until the placenta has been delivered.

I'm not so sure I agree with her not letting her kids occupy themselves as they pick up negative behaviors. Peyson hitting and "bullying" is more negative and obviously a big problem than anything the other two could pick up playing with each other.

That was the weirdest fucking birth I've ever watched. I swear I thought at one point the doula kisses the back of Lucy's neck- hopefully that was my imagination. She acted like a total brat when the midwife gave her instructions.
Eta- the doula has her arms around Lucy's waist holding the baby's hand. Just freaking weird y'all.

I noticed the doula kissed her neck/back at least twice...and I totally agree-so weird!!!! It's one thing to be supportive and nurturing-but that was too much IMO!

I noticed the doula kissed her neck/back at least twice...and I totally agree-so weird!!!! It's one thing to be supportive and nurturing-but that was too much IMO!

i guess when a woman gets in the pool you just shit in, and lets you give birth while sitting on your lap, and continues to stay in the water while your blood and who knows what else floats around, you get close real fast... lol. i also found the whole thing really odd though. definitely looks like lucy and the doula are a couple and joel's the videographer - god forbid she not get the money shot, y'all!!!

I thought it was cool that the doula got in the pool to help with Lucy's back labor but after awhile it got weird. The caressing, kissing (I swear it looks like the doula kissed Lucy's neck/back a few times after the birth) and watching the doula touch her own face/scratch her nose multiple times with her wet hand that was soaking in the afterbirth kind of grossed me out!

I find Lucy's midwife to be a giant bitch. This is the same as Peysons birth and I thought that then, too. As much as Lucy pisses me off there was no reason baby needed to be moved off of her, baby checks can be done on Momma, and momma checks can be done with baby. It happens often. Plus, how the heck was Lucy supposed to hand the baby over if the cord was short. There's no difference in Lucy holding the baby low or the midwives assistant.

I just don't understand why she feels the need to lie, when she's only going to out herself later anyway? Why say that Joel immediately put the gopro down to "bond with the baby" when he clearly didn't? He didn't even touch the baby for over 20 minutes and the footage clearly didn't just "cut off". Would it have been that hard to just say "We want to reveal the gender in a separate video "? She seems like a compulsive liar.

I always thought Lucy's favorite child was Kacen. She would always rave about how laid-back and unselfish Kacen is. She also loves Kacen has blond hair and blue eyes. Before Rainbow was born, she said she was hoping the baby would be a boy that looks like Kacen. I simply think the reason Kacen was left out in the photo was the towel outfits that she put on the girls wouldn't look good on a boy.

I listed these exact lies in my post a page or two back. The kids touched the baby before he ever did. I remember with Peysons birth, he was more intimate with Lucy during L&D. This one he was only allowed to be holding the GOPro and the WHOLE video, he never ONCED touched the baby. So the whole, "he put the camera down to bond with baby" is a complete lie.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe she was disappointed that the baby was a girl. So when she saw her the only son, Kacen, she got emotional or something..

I think in a video she said they wanted a boy that looks like Joel or a girl that looks like Lucy. but I don't watch every video, so maybe she said both (we know she does contradict herself on occasion) But I know, Lucy is always saying how sweet Kacen is, how cute/funny/spunky Pace-Pace is, and never saying anything endearing about Jacelyn lol. And I'm not biased against Lucy. The only yt mom I actually DON'T like is Tayler and even I have to admit she doesn't seem 'appreciative' of Jace. Too bad, she is such a beautiful little 'mama bear' to her little siblings and a sweet little girl.
