I had the most amazing year living there. I got to work at a very popular restaurant/bar/club on the beach that year.

Australian beaches, best in the world. As if Victoria's few beaches were enough to boast about, nowhere in the world beats the Gold Coast beach. I could live the rest of my life there!

Naomi Watts once made an obscure movie with Jimmy Smits in Australia (can't remember the title) part of which was filmed in my aunt's house in East Melbourne.
Re: Off-Topic Banter
That's awesome.
And were you saying "who?" about Tim Tebow?
He's a football player, lol.
A damn sexy one.

In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.
Re: Off-Topic Banter
Ooh..., territory tough? Victoria is not always cold, 20 degrees today. In winter!!! That's 68 Fahrenheit. Furthest Ive been in NT is Alice Springs, damn I loved that place,
Re: Off-Topic Banter
I was born in Alice Springs haha! Everyone is pretty much picking up and leaving now since its getting more and more destructive. I live in Darwin now. 100 times better than Alice.
I was in Melbourne for a holiday in July. I loved it. I miss cold weather since Darwin only has hot and 'Welcome to Hell '.
I wanna go back. Jeans are my thing, I loved my first time at Starbucks that my best mate dragged me into since he's a caffeine addict and I fell in love with the buildings and the green scenery. Also, Clubbing!

Lol, I'm Melbourne born and bred but never been to Starbucks. In fact, I haven't had a coffee in 3 weeks, been trying to kick the habit. Goes against Melbourne coffee culture I know, but I am a trend setter :)
I was in the Alice 20 odd years ago for Year 12 camp, we climbed Uluru (despite the Aboriginees), sang the school hymn at the top, got lost in the Olgas, snogged Dutch tourists, went searching for Azaria evidence and hit Mr Bojangles in Alice. Great times. Caught the Ghan home. This will all be Ancient Greek to the Americans but Yue will know what I am talking about.
